The Epix has gotten the firmware update it so badly needed from Samsung.
Of course, it's still an official bloatware rom from ATT.
Anyways, I was hoping that now that an official bootloader utility and modem driver for the device is now available, maybe some of you wizkids could get to opening this sucker up for 6.5 down the road.

Thanks for any help.
I have been waiting for a official t-mobile or Samsung update to my Behold 2, but I already decided get a unofficial but efficient v2.1 update.
Somebody knows about it or somebody is working about it??
Thank you...
HI
Has anyone had their baseband updated for 2.2 GAUSB1A11123-US? If so, can you please get back to me? I appreciate it.
Not Android development moved to General
I did a google search and didn't find anything maybe I am a id10t but I can't find a way to make the Android Market download apps install to the SD card everything goes to the Mail memory.
The stock intercept rom (2.1) doesn't like installing apps to sd.
anyway to use a ext partition?
Please go to sdx-developers.com and search for:
Apps2sd now working on Intercept
Read and decide for whether you want it.
Virgin Mobile USA Samsung Intercept is getting Froyo (Android 2.2) upgrade around 3/25/2011. After that App2SD will be a in-built feature.
Sprint Samsung Intercept already was upgraded to Froyo (Android 2.2) in Dec/Jan 2011.
Can't do this on Eclair (v2.1). Update for VM Intercept to Froyo (v2.2) was scheduled for today (the 25th) as EducateAndInnovate said, but he also posted an info update to me on another forum that on the 23rd, VM tweeted that they're pushing it back to first week of April due to "internal timing issues". A contact I have at Samsung (Android Engineer) said Samsung released the new ROM to Sprint and VM already so we just have to wait on them to finish. If you wait for the update from them so you have Froyo, then you should be able to do AppsToSD.
Of course, you can always root the device and not wait for VM ;-)
i was wondering if any one can help in getting the original t-mobile 2.3 update for my phone, the phone was rooted but it kept turning itself off so i flashed it with a 2.2.1 android t-mobile version i found on here, all i would like to do is try and get a 2.3 version on the phone...any help be great....thanks
