Hy,
i hope i´ll be doing all right now, posting my Question.
Many Months ago, i had found via Google a Thread, where is explained how to Increase the Volume
for my Earphone. There are two Probs now for me.
1. i cant find the Thread again.
2. I had tryed which is Explained, but everytime i have changed something , my Phone just Ends every Process and i had to Factoryreset and re-flash Firmware.
I am no Profi, only beginning to be a noob in such things. i just had rooted my Galaxy S3 before, and changed 1 File to make it Louder.
This is exactly what i want to do again, with my S5, because on Work it is my MP3 Player, for use with PC Speaker System. But that damn Volume is tooo low.
Every App that i could find in Playstore doesnt work.
If there is any functionaly Way to Increase the Volume, please Tell me.
If ist recommended to Flash a Custom-Rom, i would do that. Knox doesn´t interrest me. Have Knox 0x1 since first Rooting. ( Thats the effect for "i know how its going" ) .
Thanks for any Help !
Edit:
Can i Flash some Custom Roms which has Increased Volume? Where can i see that Volumes are Increased?
Looking for Roms like Alliance Rom from the ROM Menu.
Hello everyone,i have a galaxy note3 sm-n9005 rooted with lollipop android version and i want to make the speaker to be louder than the original specs...i searched about the apk ysound sound tweak but it works only for exynos versions of the phone...i looked on xda for a sound_path.xml for editing the standard labels but it works only for the previous android versions (4.3 & 4.4)....i wanted to ask if there is any development(apk-file etc) to do this process to my phone...???
+i hope that my english is right-written
+if the thread is in the wrong sector plz forgive me...
Unfortunately I don't know any apk which can make the speaker any louder, however there might be, not sure. But if you are open to flash a custom kernel then I can say you can flash Civz kernel and it has an option to increase the loudspeaker's output dB. Faux sound it is as far as I know.
Your English is more than understandable, but you might wanna edit the title, as update volume specs doesn't necessarily mean your need for louder speaker volume.
Hello friends,
I'm looking the way to increase the volume of Galaxy Grand Prime (G531F) in Lollipop 5.1.1, (the incoming calls sounds too low) using apps like "Viper" or "DSP Manager" but the apps don't work :S
Someone know how to increase the volume editing the file in system folder ?
I took 2 days lookin in internet, and the only way found is modifying the file "Mixer_paths.xml" but this file don't exist in my phone. (i don't know if in 5.1.1 have another name)
PS: I have the Grand Prime Rooted.
Thanks
I used Dolby atmos Google it for this device, flash it via twrp
Hello, thanks for the idea, the Dolby Atmos was the second app that i tested and not work
Hello everybody,
I really need help to install viper4android in samsung galaxy A800I.
I`ve tried several time with several tricks. but can`t yet. It always asks for installing driver.
here are the device profile :
Device = Samsung Galaxy A8 (A800I)
Chipset = Exynos 5433
Rom = Stock 5.1.1 with stock kernel (latest update)
SE for Android Status = enforcing
Rooted = yes (with Supersu).
Busybox = yes (stericson) with run parts.
Init.d support = yes and working (With Test.Log file in /data folder)
Permissive.zip = Installed
Viper supolicy.zip = installed
Selinuxmode changer = tried,but didn`t work
Viper fix 1.1 by Dr.ketan = Installed
Samsung Knox = Unistalled (Through TB)
Xposed = Working flawlessly
root Explorer = Installed
Sd-fix = Installed
Terminal Emulator = Installed (applied all commands for making setenforce = 0)
Music Player Used = google Music Player, gonemad music player, Poweramp etc
** Adapt sound and Sound alive apps are disabled (Through TB)
** I`ve tried other Viper audio (Moded) from this forum, but didn`t work.
These are the things I do for installing viper4android successfully.
But can`t yet.
I`m a viper fan and I used it from my first smart device.
Would anybody pls help me to fix this viper issue ? What did i miss ?
BTW, I think Viper is not working (installing the driver) only because of Selinux mode is "enforcing". And I`ve tried my best to make it permissive (for last 2-3 days). But can`t. Can anybody pls make a kernel patch which makes the it "permissive". I want stock kernel (maybe patched or modified, but no custom kernel), as perticular this build gives me excellent battery life and no heating or any other issues.
So, it would great if anybody help me to fix this issue.
Regards
Micheal86.

Its actually very difficult to install V4A with SELinux enforcing, despite several claims of it working with enforcing.
Also know tht there's no fixed method to install V4A. One has to keep trying different methods
These are the things u cld try ("REMEMBER TO TAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR ROM BEFORE TRYING THIS"):-
Here it goes:-
1) Search the post of member AndrasLOHF on viper4android.
U'll find the zips on the 236th page of this post.
2) Another post tells u to flash the following two zips :-
"Viper4A-_Soundfix-LibFiles_-CWM.zip" & "Viper4A-_Build.Prop-Tweaks_-CWM.zip", alongwith flashing V4A zip.
3) U cld also try the post , Viper4Android Working on S6 Edge.
Hopefully, one of these might work.
Best of Luck :good:
P.S - I'm using A7 & not A8 but the above posts are not meant to work on one particular model, so u can certainly try.

Thanks mate for your reply.
i`ll try these things and give feedback.
But one thing I want to share with you that I was trying to install viper4android for last 3 - 4 days. but can`t. I`ve searched and googled to fix this issue. And interestingly I`ve found that the main thing behind this is Samsung Knox. Knox makes it impossible to do anything beyond security. It doesn`t allow to make Selinuxmode to permissive and most probably for that reason we can`t install viper and any other mods. I`m trying to remove/uninstall knox with several ways and tricks, but can`t do yet.
It is possible if we can make a patch or modify the stock kernel. But I can`t do this because I don`t know how to do this .
BTW, do you have any idea ?
Thank you once again.

I'm very sorry but I'm not a dev, Just a fan of V4A.
I can certainly tell u tht knox can be removed, after rooting, using "uninstall system apps" app without any effect on the installation of V4A.
I've successfully installed V4A on my S4 (korea model) & now on A7(Indian model), by removing knox just from this app. So Knox should not be a worry.
There is a custom kernel compiled by @ashyx. Its a selinux permissive, rooted kernel.
the link is http://forum.xda-developers.com/sam.../kernel-permissive-ll-5-11-kernel-sm-t3312817.
Credit goes to Ashyx for the compilation.
All the best!!!

Thanks mate.
you`re really very helpful.
I too really love viper very much.
I`ll try your procedures to install Viper, and give you the feedback.
Thanks for the link. I want stock (modified, only set to permissive and nothing else, because this build is really excellent for battery life) kernel.
BTW, need some more information.
1. Does viper (driver status) shows "Processing - Yes" (in your both devices) ? Because it`s very important for sound effects. That`s why I`m asking.
2. Which apps you`ve uninstalled for removing knox from your devices ?
3. Which version of viper4android are you using ?
BTW, What is the actual name of this app ? Is it System app remover ? Because I do`nt find the app you recommended.

Development for A-series models have just started (as u can see from the forum ), so you might not find stock kernel with selinux permissive for the time being.
But you can always try that custom kernel and see if it helps your purpose
I've attached a screenshot of V4A installed in A7(2016) with processing "Yes".
I'm using the latest version of V4A(2.4.0.1).
Now, regarding the app, the link is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jumobile.manager.systemapp&hl=en
I've used it to remove Knox and have not faced any problems in V4A installation because of Knox.
If u want further cleaning, you can use "root explorer" or "es file explorer" to delete knox completely.
If you still are unable to install V4A, just share your installation steps.
I'll try to help
If you are an audiophile and fan of V4A just like me, you will have to keep trying the different methods of installation

Thank you so much.
I`ve (we) done it.
Viper4android is working in A8. Thanks mate for giving me the links and ideas. It`s also working with "processing = yes".
Yes, I`m too an audiophile an a fan of viper like you. that`s why I was trying it for last 6 - 7 days.
I`m using Viper 2.3.4.0 ( With the help of the S6 Edge thread).
sorry file attaching with XDA feature doesn`t work with my browser for some days. that`s why I can`t upload any screenshots.
Ok. I`ve got the app.
Actually I wanted to know that which system files (names of the files) you`ve removed to remove knox from your device ? I`ve tried to remove all the knox related files through root explorer, but it didn`t work (got bootloop). That`s why I`m asking ?
BTW, I agree with you. The A series (specially A8) has nearly no development. A8 is a 2015`s phone , but there is not a single custom rom, no mods, no stock modified kernel. I don`t know why no Devs are intersesting about this series ? I`m not a dev and a very ordinary member of XDA and love android. I`ve tried to make a custom(stock) rom and I`ve made it (Pre-rooted, Deloated, Zipaligned, with build prop and CSC tweaks) . But it doesn`t boot. It always stucks with the samsung Logo with non secure kernel message with red color. I think its all about the kernel (boot img). I`ve searched Xda and googled for help. I`ve tried my best .But got no fruitful result yet.
Anyway thank you once again.

glad I could help
Using the uninstaller app, just scroll down the "system apps" list & you can uninstall all the knox icons that you see. There are many files without any icon. Read them and you will find few files related to knox. Uninstall those files too.
Now, You should not find knox-related problems :good:

Guys can you please provide me Viper or other like atmos or arise audio mod, which works with this rom
[ROM][XT1575|XT1572][Aroma]TruPureXMM 2.9 - Fast and Smooth [5-26][MM 6.0]
I need Links for Zip and apk files. I searched a lot but couldn't found a working version.
My device feels like it produce low volume on some videos and songs. But on some its very loud. Don't know what is wrong. So that's why I want to try Viper. I have tried Viper in note 3 and it worked great.
1. Supersu, busybox installed&installed, flash zip with twrp.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9k8W8e2YrFfZzBIWWhiNmlybmM/view?usp=drivesdk
I downloaded it few months ago from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/r-s-e-sound-systems-auditory-research-t3379709
Or
2. With magisk manager you can install viper & dolby as systemless modules.
I don't know if it will help in:
"...My device feels like it produce low volume on some videos and songs. But on some its very loud..."
Thanks a lot sir
I appreciate your help.
Don't know it's weird problem I am facing. Some apps are producing low volume. It's like they are not utilizing full speaker volume. But on some it's loud enough. Hope this will help. Thanks a lot once again
