Do a factory reset.
Check again problem ll be resolve
If not flash stock rom again it helps if there is any type of software issue.
If not then check battery may be battery fault.
Do it if problem stills then it's a hardware problem

Try HR (Hard Reset), but, I don't think work.
Otherwise try with stock rom.
I do not see any other solutions.
Hello, I am having an issue with my S4.
I was having random reboot issues and my rom was quite old (omega 30 or something) so I decided to update my phone. I flashed stock from odin, then installed TWRP again and tried flashing roms. Roms previously would boot up to the point where I would setup android and then reboot. Now my phone seems to reboot almost directly after the "Samsung Galaxy S4" logo. Some roms have let me boot into the android setup but once the Mobile Network seems to try to connect, the phone reboots right away.
I have tried flashing 3 different stock roms thru ODIN and they all have the same issue. I have tried clearing cache/data in recovery but it hasnt helped.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? Thanks!
Might be a power button issue. A friend had a similar problem. The phone would boot and work for some time and then turn off.
At some point it just wouldn't turn on anymore.
It was the power button.

Thank for your reply!
Just curious, if it was the power button, wouldnt my phone also restart in recovery and in download mode? In both of those modes, there is no issue. I'm worried that I flashed a modem incorrectly some time in the past and that could be casuing me issues. If the stock rom passed in odin, shouldnt the modem be working correctly?

Stock roms have modems and bootloaders included. So it must be something else.

It's very odd. I have no problems getting into recovery or download mode, but absolutely anything I flash will not boot with any reliability and not for more than a few seconds. I was able to flash Omega 42.1 and that worked for about 30 minutes yesterday and then began bootlooping as well.
I have no ideas.
I hate when people solve their problems and don't follow up on their own threads so here I am to post my solution.
Turns out my battery was slightly swollen and causing the battery to disconnect and make the phone restart. I noticed this after a bunch of various testing with the phone plugged in and unplugged. The phone would work fine plugged in but within a minute of being unplugged it would turn off or reboot.
I purchased a new battery and have had no problems at all since, everything works great. When I compare my swollen battery to the new battery, you can see it is slightly swollen but hardly noticeable if they are not side by side.
Anyway, for anyone reading this thread in future, my solution was to replace the battery which had swollen.
hi guys
i am facing a weird problem
when i reboot my phone, the phone goes off normally but after switching off it doesnt boot back(which it should do in 4-5 sec coz i rebooted)..the phone would remain switched off and would also not switch on by pressing power button..it switches on when i press power button along with volume +/- key.. the problem was every time i rebooted
the problem was first noticed when randomly rebooted after that i changed boot animation and since then the problem started.
seeing the problem i changed bootanimation to stock and unrooted, reflashed stock firmware via sideload and did a factory reset.
this procedure reduced the frequency of this problem..but then i went to service centre and they changed my motherboard...THEN ALSO FEW DAYS BACK I AM FACING SAME PROBLEM.
I'M UNROOTED AND ON STOCK LATEST LOLLIPOP FIRMWARE.
PLS HELP ME GUYS........................

Hi guys, i'm having problems with my S3 neo (GT-I9301). When i put the battery in the phone it automatically turns on and it bootloops on samsung's model screen, after a few seconds it restart again and again. When I try to enter in recovery/download mode i see the Rec/dwn mode for a second and then it restarts, so i can't do anything. I've never rooted this device, changed firmware or kernel. It's totally original. any ideas? Thanks!

When you have your warranty, then they'll fix it if you didn't cause it. Don't open your phone yourself unless you know what you're doing(and if you want to keep your warranty. One time I opened my phone and the warranty took it in and replaced my faulty battery even tho I had opened it, but you might not be so lucky.) Take it to the care center or whatever they call it and have your device fixed. Hope you get it fixed.
For the past few months I've been running the Galaxy S4 I9506 on Lineage Os 14.1, I occasionally encountered random bootloops during use where the phone would suddenly die then run into a bootloop as it tried to restart. When it did this, I was able to fix it by removing the battery, waiting a while, then re-inserting it, but I've recently encountered a problem where as soon as I put the battery back it starts bootlooping without pressing the power button. I am also unable to access TWRP or Odin mode as the bootloop overrides it. Is this due to a hardware fault within the phone or is there some way I can still save my S4?
*EDIT*
In the end I was able to find a replacement motherboard and swap it out with the faulty one. The phone once again booted normally and after a re-flash Lineage OS has been working flawlessly ever since. I believe this means the previous motherboard may have just died of old age, will still try the oven trick though.
I recommend flashing the latest stock ROM using Odin, use the phone in a stock configuration to confirm that everything works.

Without installing and using the stock ROM, it wouldn't be possible to determine if it is a hardware or software problem.

Whenever I boot the phone into Odin it will sit in the download mode for about 5 seconds before cutting power and bootlooping again, does this mean that it is a hardware fault in the phone?

Could be a power button problem too.

Seems an hardware issue. The only way I know to give you a chance to boot to os and save your data is to use the trick of hoven. Put the motherboard (whiteout the camera) in the hoven at 200°C for almost 10 minutes. It seems strange but working for me. If you decide to try remember that I am not responsible of any damage!
Regards.
Edit: a thing that you can do to check if the problem is hardware related it is to remove the middle frame and try to boot. If you successfully boot the problem is the motherboard.
