I brought s7 edge when I enter my account it asked for the user before me when I asked seller he told me he has no idea what it was how can I bypass it because I can't take my money back
Check YouTube, look for the latest one or one that matches the android version you're on. I accidentally locked myself out of mine months ago and managed to unlock it.

Hey,
I posted this topic a week or so ago with the same problem. We're somewhat on to something... we just need someone with a working phone to get the firmware by using their IMEI number in SmartSwitch. If you know anyone else who has the phone, it'd be awesome if you can ask them give that a go.
..
Root Discovered, but phone is bricked.

I had my phone [SM-G530T1] rooted with TWRP before bricking it with Xposed. Is it possible you can provide us with the stock firmware from your phone using Samsung SmartSwitch or provided us with the S/N for we can do it ourselves. Do you need the method I used to root my GP?
i have my imei

Wait no don't do that !! It won't work people have already tried don't even try bro !
I have created a solution!
I have a fix to get the SM-G530T1 [Galaxy Grand Prime - MetroPCS] working after a soft brick. Back up and running making/receiving calls/texts, but Wi-Fi is not working and my device starts off in recovery. Still need to test out everything else though. Also, the settings say Galaxy Core Prime now meaning everything in the ABOUT DEVICE section will be altered until we have a firmware for our device to download. I used TrapKernel from ShinySide, the provided TWRP for the SM-G530H, and some files from both firmwares of the SM-G360T1 and SM-G530T devices.
Anyway, using ODIN, put the .tar file in the AP slot and flash your phone...GOOD LUCK!
Sorry, I am still too new to post external links. Contact me through other means and I will provide the file until I am allowed to share it here on XDA.

Well there is easy way to root the phone it takes like 5 mins. It is free and stress free, what I did was use kingroot. Now the most people are not doing there homework, so they end up FRP locking there mobile device. Shame on you nubs, don't skip corners. See the (FRP) factory reset protection is google's doing. They make it harder for would be phone thefts. In the same sequence they made it almost so easy to brick your mobile device. By rooting your phone through kingroot, your mobile device will work until you reboot it. Once you reboot it, you trigger the (FRP) lock and then you are stuck with a bricked device. Now (FRP) lock is on every android 5.0 OP system and higher. What they don't tell you is that when you reboot and or factory reset your device. It automaticlly trips it. If you call samsung they will tell you bring it to best buy and they will help you. This is not true samsung can't do anything cause google is the one behind the (FRP) lock. Now google will ask you to wait 72 hours. Which is also wrong, smart switch, kiers, odin ,nothing will help you. The trick is simple, understanding the (FRP) lock is key. Disable the lock by deleting your google account. Now you might ask your self if i disable my google account how will I download the king root app. That is why first and for most, you download the app and run it. Once you rooted your phone use one of the hundreds of root verify apps to make sure your device is rooted. Now DON'T reboot your phone! Go to you account and delete your google account ,failing to do this will trigger (FRP) lock. Once the google account is deleted, reboot your phone. Now when the phone restarts you will have a rooted phone . Sign back in to google and you will be ready to go. Keep in mind also, I have seen countless people not even trying to root there phone have the same issues with the all black screen (FRP) lock. Just cause they factor rested there device, this will also trigger the lock. So keep that in mind anytime you want to factory reset sign out of google account before you do or same thing will happened, and once it locks your screwed. Now also keep in mind if you rooted your phone and you experienced a (FRP) lock at the moment. You are holding on to a bricked mobile device cause by rooting your phone you killed your warranty. That suck's but for all you nubs out there stop cutting corners do your home work, or pay the price.
my grand prime is bricked to it has the same SM-G530T1 and if I go to metro will they replace it for free ??? I got it a week ago

Would you mind using Flashify app to pull the recovery and kernel from your device? I know someone who is bricked and those two files could fix his issues. I have the Straight talk version so it's a no go on my end. He does have the Metro PCS version.
Thanks in advance.

The best thing you can do is ask your friend to reset his google password and then let him unlock your phone. That's the most XDA can help you with since we have no idea how the device was obtained. If he was your friend, he should take the responsibility of unlocking your phone.

Android phones require ONLY the Google account information to bypass the restriction.
Download the bypass app, then plug otg, install that then reset, i think that ur phone is not the newest version, so otg method would work

Bought another s7 edge off Craigslist. Everything was fine and legit and phone was reset but guy left the secure boot lock on so (dumbly) I factory reset it from the recovery menu and upon boot got hit with the FRP. Texted the guy and said he would help me out when he got to his house (~hour away) but now no response(have screenshots to prove it). Not trying to be fraudulent in anyway I just want to be able to use the phone I paid for. Phone wasn't stolen as I require sellers show me proof of purchase or actual use of the phone
Well your only choice at this point is to contact the guy

There's a twrp file you can delete manually. I don't remember what it is, but I found it on xda for note 4 or note 5 a year or so ago.

Tried the method using the Real 2.0 app that made a fake call and went to the browser and such. Got up until it I had to find the google account manager in the shortcut maker app and found the account manager apps but not the one that actually asked me to log in. Think of another one?

kind of hesitate to post it here so i pm you out the link... i have test it once successfully...
I am interested in how this can be done with the latest firmware updates. Kind of hate to have an S7 brick.
I bought a phone and when I got it I instantly factory reset it (had no idea about FRP lock) and now I cant setup my phone. The seller doesnt want me to send his login details and he cant meetup with my since he moved. Can anything be done? I have searched but most of the links I come across are for older security patches
That person is a duch they could just change their password
Think you are screwed untill you can find something newer

Hi guys, I just purchased my M3 from Amazon US, and then I realised that the 5G WiFi access has been disabled.
I found it's able to enable it via root the device and modify the system file. Before I root the device, the password is needed to unlock the boot loader, so I login EMUI website and filled in with all device info, but it alerted me with an error "Please make sure the information you entered is correct".
Currently, my M3 is running on B351, EMUI 5.0, Android 7.0.
Is there anyone can help me sort this out? Really appreciate your help on this matter. :good:
The serial number and product ID info have been partially clipped out.
View attachment 4360139
This is maybe caused due to selecting "before EMUI5.0" which is intended for the EMUI4 ROMs based on Android 6.
The code section doesn't work. You'll find a few references to it. The CN page doesn't load either.
Now I registered and it keeps saying mke sure the info is correct. It is correct but won't go through
dc-unlocker is the easiest way to go if you ask me. I nearly completely screwed up my m3 trying to downgrade, but am not mostly all good (with root)
