The best thing you can do is ask your friend to reset his google password and then let him unlock your phone. That's the most XDA can help you with since we have no idea how the device was obtained. If he was your friend, he should take the responsibility of unlocking your phone.

Android phones require ONLY the Google account information to bypass the restriction.

Download the bypass app, then plug otg, install that then reset, i think that ur phone is not the newest version, so otg method would work

Hey,
I posted this topic a week or so ago with the same problem. We're somewhat on to something... we just need someone with a working phone to get the firmware by using their IMEI number in SmartSwitch. If you know anyone else who has the phone, it'd be awesome if you can ask them give that a go.
..
Root Discovered, but phone is bricked.

I had my phone [SM-G530T1] rooted with TWRP before bricking it with Xposed. Is it possible you can provide us with the stock firmware from your phone using Samsung SmartSwitch or provided us with the S/N for we can do it ourselves. Do you need the method I used to root my GP?
i have my imei

Wait no don't do that !! It won't work people have already tried don't even try bro !
I have created a solution!
I have a fix to get the SM-G530T1 [Galaxy Grand Prime - MetroPCS] working after a soft brick. Back up and running making/receiving calls/texts, but Wi-Fi is not working and my device starts off in recovery. Still need to test out everything else though. Also, the settings say Galaxy Core Prime now meaning everything in the ABOUT DEVICE section will be altered until we have a firmware for our device to download. I used TrapKernel from ShinySide, the provided TWRP for the SM-G530H, and some files from both firmwares of the SM-G360T1 and SM-G530T devices.
Anyway, using ODIN, put the .tar file in the AP slot and flash your phone...GOOD LUCK!
Sorry, I am still too new to post external links. Contact me through other means and I will provide the file until I am allowed to share it here on XDA.

Would this help?....

Well there is easy way to root the phone it takes like 5 mins. It is free and stress free, what I did was use kingroot. Now the most people are not doing there homework, so they end up FRP locking there mobile device. Shame on you nubs, don't skip corners. See the (FRP) factory reset protection is google's doing. They make it harder for would be phone thefts. In the same sequence they made it almost so easy to brick your mobile device. By rooting your phone through kingroot, your mobile device will work until you reboot it. Once you reboot it, you trigger the (FRP) lock and then you are stuck with a bricked device. Now (FRP) lock is on every android 5.0 OP system and higher. What they don't tell you is that when you reboot and or factory reset your device. It automaticlly trips it. If you call samsung they will tell you bring it to best buy and they will help you. This is not true samsung can't do anything cause google is the one behind the (FRP) lock. Now google will ask you to wait 72 hours. Which is also wrong, smart switch, kiers, odin ,nothing will help you. The trick is simple, understanding the (FRP) lock is key. Disable the lock by deleting your google account. Now you might ask your self if i disable my google account how will I download the king root app. That is why first and for most, you download the app and run it. Once you rooted your phone use one of the hundreds of root verify apps to make sure your device is rooted. Now DON'T reboot your phone! Go to you account and delete your google account ,failing to do this will trigger (FRP) lock. Once the google account is deleted, reboot your phone. Now when the phone restarts you will have a rooted phone . Sign back in to google and you will be ready to go. Keep in mind also, I have seen countless people not even trying to root there phone have the same issues with the all black screen (FRP) lock. Just cause they factor rested there device, this will also trigger the lock. So keep that in mind anytime you want to factory reset sign out of google account before you do or same thing will happened, and once it locks your screwed. Now also keep in mind if you rooted your phone and you experienced a (FRP) lock at the moment. You are holding on to a bricked mobile device cause by rooting your phone you killed your warranty. That suck's but for all you nubs out there stop cutting corners do your home work, or pay the price.

I have a device I recently bought from the internet. It has a device protection on it. The seller says he cannot remember such information for me to gain access. So I am pretty much stuck.
How would I go about bypassing this?
Thank you in advance.

This is one method of getting around the Google FRP Lock:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD6RcS8ulGw
He basically uses a loophole on the first time setup WiFi page to launch Google Assist - bypassing the setup process, download/sideloads some apps and adds a Google Account.
You don't have to have the apps on a separate sd card; you can download them from apk-mirror using the Stock Browser, then go back and install them through My Files.
When rebooting the phone - it forgets about the previous owners Google Account that was on the phone.
It's quite funny really - not very good security.
I ran into this problem when I factory reset a G903F on the latest BTU firmware using the old HOME+VOLUP+POWER combo.
Flashing the latest firmware using ODIN with re-partition and erase NAND didn't even remove it.
Coming from an older S2 - I didn't realise that setting a lock screen pin activated other security mechanisms.
It basically thought I'd nicked it.
I should've factory reset it through the Settings > Backup & Restore menus - have to remember that!

Stok rom, no root, bootloader locked , no costum recovery.
I bought this phone "second hand" and all works good, but next day when i woke up i seen the phone "Welcome" and when i want to add my google account says "the phone was reset..."
Sorry for my bad English .
same problem....any solutions?
The purpose of the FRP is to protect personal property and information in the event the device is lost or stolent, so being able to circumvent that would defeat it's sole purpose.
Your best bet would be to email the Gmail you have on the phone and see if you can meet up again to disconnect the Gmail associated with it. Another possibility is to contact Google about the situation, perhaps they will contact the previous owner to verify the device was sold and to remove the email from the phone?

Unroot And Remove TWRP S8

Hey guys I rooted my S8 with TWRP and Magisk. Now I want to set my phone back to stock and sell it. What is the easiest way to do this?
I did the same in the past with an S7, I did a factory reset and it removed the root and went back to stock. This does not seem to work with the S8 though.

no. go to sammobile.com/firmwares and find the latest firmware for your device. Then get the Frija tool or SamFirm and download the firmware via one of those two tools (theyre both available by searching on XDA and they do the exact same thing, they just look a bit different) as they download the firmware literally 4 to 5 times faster and flash the stock firmware in Odin with the phone in DL mode. Be sure to flash the HOME_CSC to factory reset it and return it to a ready for sale state. Also, go into the settings and remove the fRP lock

from samsung themselves "The FRP is enabled automatically when a Google account has been registered on the device and will be disabled if the Google account is removed from the device prior to the Factory Data Reset. I like your sense of humour I cant keep track of what forums have a thanks button and which ones dont so apologies for that. Because of this i try to make a point of thanking the person in writing at the beginning of my post. That way i am into the habit of politely thanking the person for taking the time to give me the help i need. So thanks again kind sir
I now understand what this FRP is, do disable it, do i need to login in to my google account on the device, then remove my google account, then do a Factory reset?

Magisk is systemless root. It will never be reset by by anything within the OS. Only restoring the patched bootloader would remove the root. TWRP is the same. Download a stock image and flash via odin to restore the device.

Hello, I wanted to do a new post but I can see, my issue is similiar.
(Sorry to an author for stepping in)
Ok, cut to the chase. Anticipating questions about me stealing this phone, it is a company phone. Our former employee has been fired and the phone has been taken from him. Unfortunately, he has had a google pin password and after factory reset, the phone activated the FRP blocked. It is silly because even if I have the original email, I cannot log in.
First I'd like to try official ways, like, I don't know, is there any way to contact Huawei with that?
If not, is there any way to that without emergency backup? (I tried those videos from youtube, cannot get into this)
