Help with note 3 9005 loop booting - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hil
I have a similar problem. I have a note 3 with original UK ROM and wanted to flash my operator ROM to get wifi calling. Both are android 5.0
The problem is after trying to flash the first time I had a problem that the new ROM would not fully flash. reading posts I understood I had to flash PIT file which I downloaded and flashed. After flashing PIT the new ROM did not go in so I flashed my original UK.
After reboot I kept getting security warnings that something has changed and I should reboot. After several boots the problem did not go away.
So I tried to flash ROM again, different tries between UK ROM and my operator ROM, but the phone now only loops at booting. Sometimes it gets stuck at first Samsung screen.
Can anyone please help?
Thank you

What original rom.
What rom you updated to ?
Probable you flashed the wrong size PIT .

Hi,
So the following:
Original ROM: N9005XXUGBOK6_N9005BTUGBOJ1_BTU
My operator (EE): N9005XXUGBPB1_N9005EVRGBPB1_EVR
Now I tried: 4.4.2.N9005XXUGNG1_N9005OXAGNG1_BTU
I tried the following PITS:
SM-N9005 FTM pit
SM-G900F EVR pit
Any suggestions, would be very grateful.
Thanks

SM-G900F EVR pit
Thats not for N9005 .
Have you tried Samsungs KIES ??

So which Pit to rectify?
Yes I also tried Kies 3 but cannot connect. I have tried under recovery mode and download mode. Odin connects fine though. Not sure why.

SEE

If you have N9005 32GB only

Try to change usb cords. I used to have the same problem

So I flashed the pit successfully, but the EVR ROM failed again.
Any suggestions on why?

I just flashed my original UK ROM successfully, however after a boot where the message appeared "Recovery booting" then the green Android followed by another reset. It is however stuck on the Samsung screen.

From closed thread .
You changed to the wrong model firmware and that's a guess as you give no indication .
Another guess is that you ticked the wrong boxes in Odin .

Ok sorry, they were in the begining of the thread but here they are. I tried both and still no result:
Original ROM: N9005XXUGBOK6_N9005BTUGBOJ1_BTU
My operator (EE): N9005XXUGBPB1_N9005EVRGBPB1_EVR
Thanks

Any other suggestions?

Search bootloop
https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/forum/2494?query=Bootloop
Take it to a repair centre .
Personally i would try flashing TWRP via Odin recovery and see if i could get to recovery mode.

Factory reset .
Then flash stock rom .
That fails i would try flashing a custom rom through recovery .

I installed TWRP 3.1.1 as per link above and tried to backup my DATA partition but it is 0MB
I'm afraid Factory reset also failed. I get a bunch of error messages such as:
Failed to mount /data
Formatting cache
Unable to mount storage
Any ideas?
The good news is I still have access to recovery and download.

I think you can't fix that, im almost sure the phone will need a motherboard and/or screen replacement because the digitizer being damaged when flashing a wrong rom.

How much are you sure? in other threads they say its just bricked and they recommend to install stock rom with .pit
damn
I don't know, I just know that if you use the wrong root file that happens, i hope in your case it can be fixed.

Tell me did the flash process completed while u tried the wrong firmware ?
If not
Go to stock recovery u try reset and wipe cache partition and reboot
.
it stuck,it said "wrong binary executed" and i rebooted.
I had flashed twrp recovery, and i cant get into that, now.I can only get into, download mode (power+menu+down button) and the normal download mode.
Complete(Write) operation failed.
Now?
I'm not saying this is exactly the solution in your case, but perhaps you can take a look at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1984717
I can only assume the same principle could apply in this case if you say you can get the phone into download mode.
well, i closed kies,i changed usb port and now, i made to install the stock rom.Now appears "Samsung galaxy s4 i9505" and it stucks there.I made to install recovery again. And now i am trying to install a rom, besides stock

I have done everything I could. I also tried to install CWM but it gives me this error "secure check fail : recovery"
okay for those with the same problem as mine, I finally managed to fix this problem by going to recovery, then wiping data factory reset.
i've the same error,
it was because i use bobcat v2 with abyss kernel so after i would use echoe V5 but reflash a stock rom MJ7 to clean my phone
but ===> error the message just apear
I fixe the problem with a flash stock kernel ^^

My phone won't boot!

Dear xda users,
I have a big problem with my Samsung S7 Edge G935F!
Yesterday my phone restarts continuously so I used Odin to flash Firmware Stock. First, I used this Firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3335065 .
Odin doesn't show any errors and my phone restarts; but after Samsung S7 Edge Boot Splash Screen, the phone shows a screen with yellow triangle and Android dead and then, phone restarts in Stock Recovery Mode.
In the Recovery mode when I press Reboot System Now or PowerOff, appears "Verifying DMVerity Hash Tree..." and then "Failed" and my phone restarts again in Recovery.
I tried Wipe data and cache but Nothing!
Then I tried to repair firmware with Kies 3: No errors but my phone won't boot!!
And then I tried another firmware file with Odin but nothing!
The phone is Completely Stock! Recovery Mode and Download Mode work and the phone is recognised by PC.
Please help me!
Thanks in advance

Have you tried doing a "Factory Data Reset" in stock recovery yet?
If not, do that before doing anything else.
The Factory Data Reset in stock recovery will WIPE your internal
sdcard but it will not wipe your external SD if you have one.
Also it would be very helpful to know the exact filename(s) of the
stock firmware(s) which you have tried to odin flash and what the
model of your phone is. (G938F) or other variant?)
Good luck and have a great day!

Thanks for your reply!
Yes I tried Wiped data/Factory Reset and Wipe cache partition in Stock Recovery..
Device: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Model: SM-G935F
Firmwares tha I tried to flash with Odin:
Netherlands (Android 6.0.1) G935FXXU1APF2_G935FPHN1APE2_G935FXXU1APEQ_PHN
Italy (Android 6.0.1) G935FXXU1APF2_G935FITV1APE2_ITV
If flashing succeeds, and you still have the same problem:
go back with your device where you bought it
You can't solve it yourself, and probably something is wrong/defect with the main-board
When you 1st discovered the continuous reboot:
1. why did you not go to the store where you bought your phone?
2. why trying to flash "other firmware" on your phone instead of your "original firmware"?
What's your original CSC? Flash your phone with your original phone's CSC and bring your phone back for repair and/or replacement!

N910F software bricked. E:can't mount cache

Hello,
I've been trying for 4 days now to make my phone work but in vain. I have tried over 50 times to install different versions of genuine android firmwares 4.4.4, 5.0.1, 6.0.1 (ORO, DBT, CNX..etc)
My main mistake I think is that I tried to put a fresh new 6.0.1 software from samsmobile and ugpraded from ORO to DBT without adding a PIT file, and gave me some kind of error in Odin. (something with partition too big. I can't remember it) I tried to put back the software before but nothing. It gets stuck in bootloop, I can enter in recovery, but can't do nothing. Can't format or repair anything with TWRP. Here are the photos attached

Use twrp :
Go to wipe/advanced wipe and select repair or change file system .
You will have to change your file system or you can try the repair options .
First tick all the partions and the select repair .
Then you can flash any Rom.

I have tried, but in vain. I posted those pictures, right after i tried to repair and to format. It fails and gives the mount failed error..
Has anybody any idea?
Flash The recovery firmware .
Search on Google for " tsar3000 recovery firmware " .
There is also a xda thread , but i dont have the link.

Yes, sure. You have to replace the motherboard. It can't be repaired. At least not in my town. Bought it second hand for 100euros

Half bricked galaxy s5! G900h

So the situation is that my phone is not booting up not in recovery mode and not in normal mode BUT it is however BOOTING INTO DOWNLOAD MODE .
now i thought maybe i will just reinstall the stock file and get back to business but it is still not booting up after flashing stock file properly as well in odin it goes as pass 100% but it does not boot back .
SINCE RECOVERY mode is not working i could not flash a custom rom
all this happened when i installed a boot logo changer zip from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65599504&postcount=22 , after that it hasnt been working !
please help @yash92duster or anyone else with such knowledge!
