-Its more useful, for example if you want to charge ur tablet (if u have one) or ur friend's phone u can use a power bank for that purpose while u can't do that with a power case.
-Power bank usually more powerful than a power case, i mean it has more mAh, which means u don't have to recharge it every single day.
-Many cases can cause an overheat while charging, which can cause damage to phone battery and affect the performance of ur phone (in bad way).
-Finally you can put the power bank away after charging your phone which means that ur phone will look much more beautiful and much thinner than with a case.
Im not saying that power case is evil, no its not but in my opinion power bank is much more useful.
Otherwise the power bank has one but a big minus, it has a bigger size and its not comfortable to have it on you everywhere, but if u r that kind of people who always has a bag, it won't be a problem for u.

Non removable batter + need to do battery pull?

Anyone who has done much flashing of custom roms knows that every once in a while, you gotta pull the battery to stop bootloops or other nonsense. What do you do in the case of having a non-removable battery? I've been wondering this for a little while ha

well the ONEX has an unremovable battery too so you just hold the power button for 10 seconds and it will restart as if you pulled the battery, so i think the ONE will be the same
Awesome, thanks guys
IMO, thats better than a battery pull. How often have you had a nice case on your frozen phone. It's a 5 second battery pull that turned into a nice 1-2 minute hassle. This is awesome when your on a time constraint and busy at the same time.
After seeing the information from the S4, I am happy to say the HTC One will be my next phone when it is released.
Seriously, even with Sammys just holding power is better then a battery pull.

I haven't had my s3 battery out in months and been through 2 OTA updates as well. Just reset phone, done.

Note 3 ZeroLemon battery

OK the note 3's battery is already pretty big would you but a extended battery for it? I can't wait to see how big the ZeroLemon battery is when it is released.

Yes, day 1 they release the battery I will buy it.
the note 2 one was amazing for travels.
did it still fit in your pocket? that thing is HUGE like OG Xbox
Well, since note 2 had 3100mah battery and zl basically was just three of those making it 9300mah, I can see them doing the same thing here and making a 9600mah battery maybe even possibly a 10kmah!
Im still waiting on them to release the rugged case for their zl battery for note 2...
Sent from my note 2 ya bish!
Yes I can see myself buying one. I like to do back country camping and it would be nice to have music that lasts for 2-3 days. Although I could just run 3 separate batteries I wouldn't mind having it all in one.
I'm hoping they get cracking. But now it is time for me to give up on the rugged case. This note 2 zl case is going to get all gussied up by a nice lady in the UK, the phone is to become my wife's and my new note 3 will be patiently waiting for a REAL battery. Imho, big cards and big batteries remove over 80% of the reasons I used to flash and root. No need. The note line has been all I've needed since the first one came out. My wife loves them too.
So I saw on Facebook that they are working on a 10000 mAh battery

How would this be better than a external battery pack?
It would be hard to pocket carry, and it looks like this is a back packable option only.
Plus the battery cover would be stock instead of a rubber back that doesn't fit properly.
Curious to the reasoning, I am looking up external 10000 MAH packs myself.
anyone know if the ZeroLemon has NFC?

honestly, if they just put a 4000mAh in it, I wouldn't mind if it weren't replaceable. And I seriously doubt with the kind of perfomance/specs its gonna have, anyone would really mind the extra thickness either. Not to mention heft (cough, durability).
It's not how big the tank K is but how much less is sippped from the tank
Nexus 5 so battery is 75% if G2
But battery life on nexus 5 is far less than 75 percentage of G2 albeit having a smaller screen

true, tho hopefully LG itself does it, kinda like Samsung did with S3, which I have.

it looks promising but i would take this article with a grain of salt. I want to see a article or a video with alot of apps and features turned on this reviewed. i believe that would be a real battery review
Still, LG hasn't outed official talk, standby, browsing and video playback times yet, so we can only guesstimate the battery life of the G3 to be pretty good, based on some tangential proof from improvised battery tests that are popping up.
First off, a prototype version of the phone has been put through its paces, and the phone lasted six and a half hours of video playback on a charge, as you can see from the screens on the right. That might seem average, but the test has been done at the screen's*maximumbrightness, which*LG officially pegs at 430 nits, instead of the usual 150 or 200 nits, so the result from standardized routines like our own battery test, are likely to be much higher.*
Also so the test was at basically 2× brightness of a normal screen. ... so at lower brightness it should do very well

Thanks to the removable battery I couldn't care less about battery life you can always take one or even two with you and go through half a week without ever needing to charge your phone good job LG :good:
I'm sure it will feature some sort of ultra power saving mode just like the S5

Is it really nice to always have a secondary batt and most time having to turn off phone then replace. I quite don't like that and I don't see that very cute at all. Maybe it's how I feel but that for me just seems not right.

I would totally have taken a 3500mAh stuck battery like in G2(not impossible to remove after some years) instead of 3000mAh removable.

I never said 3000mAh isnt enough, but 3500mAh would last longer and most people dont run around with an extra battery in their pocket even if they can. Saving 1-2 hours of work to replace a battery like in the G2 after 1-3 years isnt really that much.

Of course they did, but they are catering to the people who are stuck in the old days when smartphones didnt last as long and batteries died much faster. Sure batteries degrade still, but if they hold longer between the charges and with more improvment it would be years between needing to change it. LG did the right thing with G2, but people arent smart enough to see it, so LG had to go back to the old ways to win the heart of the stuck.

Okay, what I'm saying is if they have thought then it'll make no sense for that regard. If so, then the 3000mAh batt along with their Optimization makes it enough to have that battery.
Like for example, there are different desktop power supplies but some of them are different quality. A 3 star 1200w quality desktop supply could be equivalent to a 5 star 800w quality supply.

Question to existing users of "S6 Edge+ Plus Dual Sim model", are both SIM slots 4G/3G/2G, or is it only 1st SIM slot is 4G/3G/2G and 2nd SIM slot is just 2G ?
I use 2 SIMs, one local and the other overseas, and from time to time I will need data on either SIM card (depending on my location); it would be great if both SIM slots are 4G/3G capable then I do not need to swap SIM when I travel (for faster data).
Thanks in advance for your replies, it will help me decide on this phone.

Battery Questions :
-Who leaves there phone charging overnight?
-Dont you think it will ruin the battery? Even over time?
-If i leave my hotspot on and charge it, do you think it will ruin the battery itself? I know heat may be an issue, however i have a cooling pad so it should never get warm.
I may knownthe answer to these, but id like to be positive before i go through with it.

Perhaps at extreme angles on white backgrounds.. but that's due to the olephobic coating and nothing to worry about.

1. I always plug it in when I go to bed, never had an issue in my life (I've always done that with every phone I've ever owned)
2. No, it doesn't.
3. I have never tried that, can't see a reason I would, but if the hotspot causes excessive heat and you're charging it too, then it may increase the temperature enough to do something to the battery life since heat can be a factor if it's extreme. I wouldn't recommend it.

According to me in smartphones overcharging is not an issue. But on the same hand that doesn't means that its safe to keep our device on charge for 12-14hours. every battery has a cycle of charging. The best way to get most of your battery is to before keeping it on charge drain it till 5% and while charging don't use your phone. It is the reason why battery bulges.

Currently the best method to prolong battery life is to charge it often in smaller amounts, minimize draining it past 15-20%, and unplug it when it hits the high 90's, but the benefits from that don't live up to the pain in the ass it is, so basically don't drain your phone until it dies, don't charge it to full more than once a day, and don't worry about it. Now running hotspots while charging in the summer heat? Wouldn't advise it.
