Dear oh Dear, no offence but get an iPad if you want iOS, if you want a 7 inch get the mini.
Why would you buy android and want iOS, there is a GOLauncher theme but whats the point?! Its a different OS for a reason !
Sorry to sound rude and blunt !
PS - I doubt this will happen properly, as Apple would definately sue like they always do, I'm surprised a launcher has lasted so long.

It's impossible, iOS isn't an open source OS as android
your best bet is to install Miui on it, and thow on a iOS theme.
then throw on a crappy keyboard
get rid of your appwidgetpicker.apk in system/app folder (because you wont be needing any widgets)
tether yourself to iTunes for music and videos
use a crappy maps app
and there you have it......iOS
Well well well... perhaps you misunderstanded me. I'm just asking for personal knowledge... nothing else!

Completely different hardware.. even if people were to port it to our device, it would never work as we would experience it on an iPad/iPhone. Apps wouldn't work, no hardware acceleration, no Bluetooth/gps etc.

Already been done. Search iDroid on YouTube

Any idea how long Root will take?

I have so many apps on my Note 4 that I need root to Titanium Backup my apps to the S7 Edge. Haven't bought it yet, but will when root is out.

You'll lose tap and pay if you root.

When sources come out I believe and that won't be till after the 11th, the official release.
So is everyone just manually installing all their apps and redoing all their settings? Damn, it'll take me days! Google doesn't do a great job of restoring apps on new phones like Apple.
Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
On the s6 we rooted just by repacking the ramdisk with some scripts to install busybox and superuser and then flashing in Odin. I'm not sure if that's how it works here too but I may give it a shot.

You can use Samsung Smart Switch mobile if your old device is compatible. (Doesn't work with any LG device)

Not sure it will work but it's a XDA link.

If it was posted anywhere else I wouldn't be at all surprised. But on XDA? Disappointing.
About 10 minutes
If you use Kingroot, I'm sure it will happen soon, I personally have not seen one device that Kingroot can't handle. You may just have to do it a couple of times.
Don't use chrome to download it detects this as virus or a bad file. They don't want you to root android phones.

Not everyone knows that. There are people that got the S7 that haven't had a phone with Samsung Pay so I like to let people know that there is that negative aspect of rooting. And there are plenty of people who use Tap and Pay. You don't have to be an ass to me or anyone else here.

Stock messaging app Vs Textra

Hello,
I really enjoy textra and started using it recently, however there's some concern about privacy when compared to stock app, what you guys think?
Do you feel secure with textra compared with stock messaging app? Are any of you acknowledge about their privacy policy?
Thanks!

Exactly. Plus it's near impossible for a texting program to steal texts.

Either way it's being tracked man, if you text it and break a crime they'll just pull your texts. Lol

you mean by my phone service company? (Vodafone)
What I mean in terms of privacy is... if I can use the stock and not have my data shared and sold for other companies, I would prefer that.. I don't really know how seriously privacy is taken by textra

Face unlock

Is face unlock not supported on the S7 Edge? I've searched and nothing seems to address this question. Is this only a Nexus feature because I had it on my Nexus 5.
Thanks

Not really interested in rooting just to restore a function that should be there in the first place. What reason could they have for not including it?
Do any Samsung products have face unlock? I checked with T-Mobile and as far as the rep knows it is something with Samsung.
