Download ROM from here : https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935FD/CAM/download/G935FXXU1DQB7/124263/
Get the files out from.the zip them flash with Odin all 4 file without home_csc(don't select this) just AP,BL,Cp,CSC,
It's still the same
I try to flash Cambodia version but still get thailand. Cambodia and Thailand are the same csc. I don't want to root my phone. Any ideas please help me. Thank you so much
If you are rooted try to flash a CSCselection with a custom recovery, it comes with a aroma instaler so it should be quite easy to follow the instructions.

Guys, what's the problem?
when I was on 4.2.2 I successfully flashed (from here, 9505 with pit. Just wipe data, cache, dalvik cache...)
Germany DBT (October 2013) (firmware with Enforcing SELinux. SECURED BOOTLOADER WILL BE FLASHED, NO DOWNGRADE)
PDA: I9505XXUEMJ5
CSC: I9505OXAEMJ5
MODEM: I9505XXUEMJ5
Version 4.3
firmware and am happy using it right now. 2 yellow text lines on every boot doesn't change anything...
Now am running the same firmware with thisROM (Very complicated to install, but its very very very fast and smooth
P.S. If you have issues with ROOT and CWM/recovery menu - reply (this) my comment and explain what's wrong

Well... First read everything
Try to install CWM or philz touch recovery meniu. Then when you there, format everything including data, system etc... But don't format SD card, becouse it doesn't change anything.... than try to flash your phone via odin using 3.09 version (I used it - I succeed) using pit file also from HERE (at the bottom pit files, odin, everything you need to download...)
Talking about format data, system etc... am not sure if it not brick your phone, becouse I never tryed, but therefore Odin installs everything for you, so... Need experienced XDAers to appear in this thread and confirm if it's ok...

Hi all, this is my first post on XDA. I was wondering if anyone had the stock recovery/firmware of the galaxy a5 a500w model (it kinda just came out in canada). I need this asap to flash it back to the og firmware.
Kind regards, benz.
a500w stock recovery/firmware
I cant find any info or help on this subject anywhere on the net. . My a5 sm-a500w is stuck in odin mode. I would usually just use keis or odin. But, there is no firmware, custom roms, or even info on what other firmware might work to unbrick this stupid Canadian phone.
The phone is screwed with out some sort compatable rom..
PLEASE HELP!!!!! ITS NOT LIKE ITS A SUPER NEW PHONE ANYMORE.
THANK YOU. PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF U HAVE ANY IDEAS OR BREAKS

HI, don't know if you already solve your problem but if not, your solution is here. Just download the original firmware for your phone model and flash it with Odin. You will loose any data you have, your phone will be just like out of the box.

Download the correct firmware from Sammobile making sure its the correct one. For example, my phone is SM-G928f unlocked. So I use United Kingdon BTU. Other firmwares may freeze up your phone and you will need to re-flash again. Once you have picked your firmware, follow the instruction on screen given to you on the download page

if you know the exact firmware number, you can find it with this tool:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tools/general/huawei-firmware-finder-team-mt-t3469146
i found mine with it, its pretty awesome, somehow scans huaweis entire database.
havnt tried the rom yet though. and you need your EXACT firmware number, if you could boot into os thats under settings and about phone, if you are bricked/ boot loop however, i dont know, maybe theres an adb command to find it?
sorry, im not much help.
pretty stuck myself.. heres my original post if anyone can help me:

Translated with Google and download factory image for your phone and flash it with sp flash tools.
regarding root
I've heard good things about Magisk for rooting
but whatever you do, I do not recommend using supersu.com(an impostor site) as that's what broke my phone...anyway, only downoad root and other system stuff from xda, or linked to from xda...if you want traditional root you can try the supersu from xda, but make backups beforehand, you need a custom recovery for it anyway...
romanian rom = unbrick
thanks for the link, the romanian rom seems fine...
no idea why there are country-based roms though, what's the difference?
the phone won't run at all to do this please please please help
please
I have made custom roms for huawei y3 ii lua-l21
Soon i will upload links
Hi,
My gf's phone stopped loading yesterday (stuck at the SAMSUNG logo), so I've tried to factory-reset it via recovery menu. Unfortunately, this didn't help, so I've decided that I need to re-flash the system. After some search I found https://www.kingoapp.com/root-tutorials/how-to-flash-samsung-stock-rom-via-odin.htm and tried to follow it. After checking the sticker behind the battery, I've learned that the model is SM-G900F. Unfortunately I wasn't sure what ROM was installed on the phone before and couldn't find any Ukrainian ROM, which is where the phone was bought originally. In the end, I decided to try installing latest ROM for Germany O2, since this is the operator that my gf uses now.
Unfortunately, Odin refused installing that image with an error "FAIL! (Auth)". After some further searching, I've noticed that when the phone is in download mode, it shows model name SM-G900V. I have no idea why and the ROM that was there before was clearly non-Verizon. Still, having no other option, I've downloaded Verizon ROM and it installed successfully. Luckily the phone has booted, but as expected, it wouldn't connect to any other network than Verizon, which is kinda useless to me given that we live in Germany and use O2. Now I wonder if it's possible to somehow root the phone, install custom recovery and flash that German O2 ROM?
The device is running Android 6.0.1 and kernel 3.4.0. How do I root it? How do I install custom recovery? Which one would you recommend?
Thanks,
Sergiy
In order to root it and install custom recovery you need to follow this guide
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/development/root-method-2018-updated-stock-firmware-t3781426
---------- Post added at 10:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:21 PM ----------
I would recommend twrp and magisk
---------- Post added at 10:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:24 PM ----------
Also you need to get the correct twrp for your phone from
https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxys5qualcomm.html
---------- Post added at 10:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 PM ----------
After rooting and custom recovery installation you need to decide what ROM you want on this phone ,you can install any ROM that supports sm g900f or g900v or klte (that's your device nickname)
I am on aex and it works good for me so you can try it https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/unified-development/rom-aospextended-rom-v5-4-t3779910
---------- Post added at 10:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:37 PM ----------
Follow the installation instructions from the Aex link and you should be good to go
If you need google apps and play store install gapps zip the link for that is also in the aex post hope it all works out for you ,if you need any help just ask

Seems, you can read russian.
You may like to follow this my guide to flash SM-G900V with an international 6.0.1 ROM.
I think, you can even use VIA (O2) CSC.
P.S. Please, pay attention to:
1. The first boot after factory reset may take 12-15 min (but not more than 20), so be patient. This was the problem, I guess.
2. Read the QA section in my guide to find the answers to your questions about root and custom recovery. And feel free to ask questions (here or there).

And note for the next time: it's a good idea to try clearing cache and safe boot before performing a factory reset
