Hi,
I do have MX5 associated with my account ([email protected]). I forgot to store my password and verification answers in password wallet.
I have full access to verified mail and phone number, which I tried to used to reset password. But request form doesn't allow me to change password using these two.
I now exactly when I activated my account (still have confirmation message), I also have purchase confirmation (transaction details from Aliexpress, bank transfer confirmation).
Is there a way to remotely logout account from phone? Or reset password using just mail or call for owner confirmation? What are my options here?
Log out account...
it is very easy... 1st go to sittings >then select "app" finend "Flyme id" app >select app and clear data. work is done. ur account is logout.

i forgot the google sign in on my mytouch. is there anyway i can find out what the account name and password are? or is there a way to bypass this?
If you can remember account name then go to gmail.com since your google account is tied to that one also and follow instructions on reset on code?
Here is what happened.
I went to administrator tools > Computer management > Local users and groups > Users.
Now I double clicked on the main user account. Then I switched to the 'member of' tab. I deleted the things whatever present over there.
Then I restarted the system. Now I can only see Guest account. My main account is not visible there to login.
I have no other account except Guest account. So I logged into the same but I cannot re enable the main account from here. Or I cannot create any new account from here.
But it seems I have the built in administrator account enabled. Screenshot attached. I tried to restore my system. To do so it asked for the password of this administrator password. But I did not set any administrator password.
So I'm stuck here with a Guest account. Please help me.
By the way my main account is not deleted permanently. Screenshot attached for the same.

From the pic you put up the admin account is disabled, that is what the little arrow means. Have you tried to enable the account or log in with a live account?

But when I tried to restore my system it asked me to sign into the administrator account. When I clicked on the same it asked me for the password.
So it seems like because my main account is removed it displayed the built in administrator account. But if the arrow mark means it is not enabled then what could be the administrator account that is being displayed above?

When I turn on the system I only see Guest account. I logged into the same but from here it won't allow me to enable the main account. If we can create another admin account then from there I can enable my main account but I wonder how we can create another admin account now.
Also just before I removed my main account I switched my main account to login via microsoft account. Meaning I should sign in using my hotmail password (cause I gave my hotmail ID). And then after a while I removed my main account regarding which I mentioned in the original post. Then I tried go into PC settings but it wont open. So I tried to restart my system and then I don't see my main account anymore. I only see Guest account.
Sorry if I could not explain the situation properly. I am not very good at English.
Like I said it asked for me for a password to enter into the admin account. I tried many passwords yesterday. But no success.
Today I tried to enter into it without typing any password and to my surprise it let me in. I never guessed it would be like this.
I restored my system and everything is fine now.
Problem solved.
Hi,
got my Z1 today, and I wanted to login in my google account. I use Two-Step-Authorization, but the device dont accept my app specific password. Is it impossible to use Two-Step-Authorization on CyanogenOS? What do I wrong? Thx for your help ...
Dave
of course not (can't use 2-step verification on Cyanogen OS)!
i have used it on the 1+1 and now the Z1
perhaps your verification code has expired?

sorry, I didnt understand exactly, is it possible or not to use an app specific password (two-step-verification) on cynogenOS? I tried it multiple times, the app specific passwords I tried can't be expired, i created it yet before. And what verification code do you mean?
I have some Nexus devices, and all of them I use with a app specific password for the main google account. But the Z1 didnt accept one. I did it by these steps:
- You generate it on the App passwords page (Sixteen letters (Example: ohgh uylv xkwd zgbz))
- You don’t have to remember it, because you can generate a new one anytime
- You’ll need it when you want to authorize a device, a mobile app (such as a Gmail app on your iPhone), or a desktop app (such as AdWords Editor) to connect to your Google Account

What do I wrong?
just download Google Authenticator from play store.

i used the app Share Where Pro to test for you just now.
(1) Installed Share Where Pro on my Z1
(2) on my Google security page https://security.google.com/settings/security/apppasswords i clicked on Select App, selected Other, entered 'Share Where', and hit Generate.
(3) then on my phone, i went into Share Where's settings where it required my Email address & Email password, and typed in my email AND the 16 character code Google gave me in step 2 above.
(4) i received an email from Google stating that app password created for 'Share Where', and on the same page in step 2 an additional entry for 'Share Where' can now be seen (with a Revoke button next to it)
so, like i said, no problem using 2-step verification on Z1.
sorry i don't know where you went wrong, perhaps someone could help you. cheers!
Hi xdakewie,
thank you for your efforts ... now I know, what you mean. Yes, I also think, that's working. But I want to authenticate the device, not an single app, with an app-specific password. During the first installation of the device or after an wipe you have to sign in in your google account, and there I want to use an app specific password. Without this sign in you can't do so much with the device, also you can't download any apps from play store. I use my Google Account on some other devices, but on all of them with another app-specific password, not with the main password of my google account. The "app specific password" should called as "app-or-device-specific-password". I hope, now I had better explain what I mean. And sorry for my bad english ...

with the login to your main google account on the device by an app-specific-password, not the main password? I don't speak about the verification keys from Google Authenticator or the login for single apps, but the login in your google account on first configuration of a device. This is working on your Z1 with an app-specific-password? Sure?

Hello there,
My aunt just acquired a Tab a6 and she uses a hotmail email, the device has never been used (brand new) and i can't actually use her email's password in order to setup the device. I've tested her password on my computer and it works normally. Any suggestions?

Are you using the default mail app? Just make sure you're using pop and that the password being used doesn't automatically put a capital as the first character.
Apart from I have no problems setting up my Hotmail on the device.
the device is still the not being used. when you turn on the device you have contract to accept and then you have to add a wifi network to connect to internet then you add either an email or a phone number that's where i'm having an issue, I've used her email *********.hotmail then press next then I wrote the password i keep getting wrong password error message.

You have to use a Gmail account. If she hasn't got one it should give you the option to create one. Use something that can be remembered as it will be needed for all the Google features on the device.
thanks ashyx for your help, it's such a let down that you must to use a google account in order to setup the device and then add the 3rd party email. Once more thanks again.

It's not that your setting up a Gmail. It's more you need to set up a Google account to use Google's features. Gmail is part of having a Google account.
Hello,
My wife and I recently sold our Sprint S7 Edge phones on eBay. I factory wiped them and dropped them in the mail. I was contacted by the buyers saying they cannot get them activated or turned on because of some kind of Google lock. I've never heard of this until I was contacted. In the old days, you just wiped them and went on your way. I did some quick research and discovered that FRP is a thing. I obviously want to help these buyers get the items that they bought working. I doubt it is as easy as clicking remove access to the devices via https://myaccount.google.com/device-activity because it is probably some sort of local protection? I don't want to give 2 strangers my password, but I read about changing my password to something temporary and then giving that person my login and utilizing 2 pass authentication to allow the device to get cleared and then changing my password to something I actually want again. I used the money from the sale of my phones to purchase the new phones so I really can't just afford to refund the phones and take them back. Is there something Google customer service can do?
thanks,
-c
I'm pretty sure they are gonna need a password, unless we have a bypass frp guide here on xda
So I reset the password to a junk password for the purposes of sharing. I'm thinking this should work.
1. let him enter the junk password.
2. when I get the 2fa popup say "yes"
3. once I accept that device, promptly change the password and say "log out all devices on this account"
4. reset password to something I actually want
5. he can set his own google account on the device
This google account has no financials or anything. I'm thinking that step 3 performed seconds after the 2fa prompt should be enough
What say you?

This will work fine. once the account logs in once, it will ask the owner of the phone if they want to save the account or not (if they have malicious intent then may click on yes) so once you confirmed they got passed the lock and you accepted the login 2fa prompt, immediately change password then log out of all devices.
That is the plan. I'll have the device manager up on my computer and once the 2FA goes through, I'm going to change the password revoke access on all my devices for good measure. I'll just log back in after.
I really wish Google had something in their system to account for this. My sister did something similar with an iphone and was able to "ok it" on a webpage and release the device.
