Hi there......... I have broken my 6 month old motorola g4 plus which was updated to android nougat. My main concern is data recovery. Went to moto care and local repair shops. Both said that the phone is dead. USB debugging is off. Not rooted. I think even the power key is damaged. I don't think phone is even charging. When i plug in the charger, notification LED blinks 3-4 times and phone vibrates. I'm not a pro in flashing or something. Can anyone suggest a solution??

Guys, my brother's Moto G4 Plus is dead, it fell from a height and stopped working.
When I plug a wall charger, the led blinks but nothing else happens. Same thing happens when I connect it to a pc/laptop but it doesn't get detected.
I've tried everything from my end, please help.

I guess it's due to physical damage get it checked out in the Moto store or a local repair shop

Cannot do that as it is not detected by a PC/laptop.

Yeah, I think that's the only option now.
Hey i have exactly the Same on my Motorola G4 Plus (ressuruction Remix). My Handy crashed to floor.After i charged Handy i see it blinked every second and Handy Screen was black.
I tryed pressing long Power button and volume together and nothing happend.Screen was Black and only led blinking if i pluged in USB or charger.
Then i tryed with ADB (adb devices and adb reboot).But ADB didnt find a device.(it also was not detected in Windows)
So i found on Lenovo Forum that there is an solution.
You must Press Power Button and Volume down for 2-3 Minutes and Hold them. ( Handy must be connected to the charger !!! )
This means more then 120 Seconds.Then your handy will boot to Recovery.
then navigate to "start" in recovery with volume buttons and hit "power button" that it starts normally.
Try this please it helped me....and say us if it worked for you !
this solutions helps if android gets freezed .I first tough also my handy was death.But it worked for me.
But remember it must be connected to charger and press more then 120 seconds and hold !!!This will work on all Motorola Handys with Android.

Only moto logo showing in start then again mobile going switch off, then again in one second mobile goes to moto logo, this process is going on, nothing to do now ?no battery remove, i try blank flash method still mobile not recognized by pc because mobile switch off on in every second,

I am just playing game and instantly my phone switched off after that again automatically my ph on and stuck on moto logo and again switched off, this process going continously, now my battery drain totally, and when i put my phone to charge, again same thing happens,, i record video from my second ph but how i share here? Please help me,

Is it booting automatically (without Power key) when plugged in?
seems your power button got pressed and after booting it reboots after 10 second if power button is pressed (constantly happening). Check power button, i think it got damaged and it is in pressed condition.
I just Hard Bricked my Moto G5 and can't find out how to fix it!
I flashed it with the wrong Moto's G5 files.
When connected to my PC, it doesn't show up. I have installed HS-USB but that still doesn't help since the phone doesn't display the LED light when connected.

The phone doesn't do anything if you hold the power button in.
The screen just stays black no matter what. No sounds, no lights....
But u can still boot the phone into fastboot mode?
No, it doesn't respond at all. Normally when you plug the phone into the PC, a little LED light will flash. But now that doesn't flash anymore when rebooting​ or plugging it into the PC.

Hello to every one,
I need your help. I don't have any other ideas anymore.
Yesterday evening I plugged my phone (LG G6 H870DS) at around 10% battery on my charger went then on to do something else.
When I returned my screen was completely black/turned off and since then my phone doesn't respond to anything anymore and I also can't detect it anymore, when I plug it into my pc.
I already tried everything I thought that might help (any combination of button presses, charging time, ...).
Do you have any other ideas what might help before I sadly have to call it a definitively dead phone?

Suddenly, my phone died (6.1 plus). Screen black, does not light up under any circumstances. Phone does not boot.
But checked charging and it does charge fine (without any display). I checked with my multimeter.
When connecting to pc, shows up in device manager as in download mode. Tried all key combinations, nothing changes.
Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting does not make any difference.
Any help?
Same thing happned to me. Took it to service center and they said the motherboard needs replacement. Another service center said the motherboard is possibly corrupted after an OTA update, and said Nokia hasn't released an update to their recovery tool to fix the partitions and re-install the OS. Asked to wait a couple of months.
And, oh, if you're able to open the back cover, remove the battery cable and put it back in. That should turn on the display and show the "Android One" logo. Still a dead phone, but one step better.
Garbage Nokia.
Purchased a Redmi Note 10 today. Going back to this reliable brand.
