Hi we recently receive emails, requesting us to create a lug adapter for Asus Zenwatch 3. What do you think? It's currently in design & prototyping stage. Wish to hear more from you guys. Cheers!

Hi people
So I bought the tegra note 7 recently, before discovering that a 4G LTE version was on the way. So I wanted to know if there was any way to make voice calls with this tablet using an external USB dongle and my sim. My USB OTG cable is in transit as of now so I'm not sure even if the tablet supports external dongles.
Any and all help is appreciated.
P.S. this is my first thread post here. (and I'm not very smart with such stuff)
Plz help.

The Note certainly has a microphone because there is a built in voice recorder. You can't see the voice recorder in the app tray, but it's on the tablet (I stumbled upon it after I installed Nova Launcher then was looking at what shortcuts/actions I could assign to the dock).
As for using a USB dongle with OTG, I haven't tried it because I have a MiFi. Perhaps someone else can chip in...
C'mon guys...help a newbie
M prepared to compromise now... ..i think 'tablet talk' will suit me and sync and transfer all my calls and texts from me cell to tab over wifi direct or bluetooth but if some one could suggest a free alternative for it?
i need something to transfer all my calls and texts to my tab and vice versa...possibly over bluetooth.
Whats the best controller that can do both FireTV stick (V2 5.2.2.0) & windows 10? The Mrs is buyin Christmas gifts today and I wanted to toss a few roms on the FTV-S & hopefully be able to use 1 controller for it & PC. Is this possible? Im sure Id would have to pair/repair everytime I switched (which might get old to be honest)
I do have extra DS4 & DS3 that can be dedicated to each platform to possibly shift my gift to something else if pairing becomes a p.i.t.a.
My USB logitech for PC bit the dust months ago & want wireless now.
Hey everyone I'm doing a car install of a galaxy tab a 7.0 and I have a joycon usb controller and flash drive I need plugged in to a powered otg hub I have. Everything works great but my hub only has a switch that goes between charge OR otg not both. Is there a kernel or custom otg cable someone can guide me to to make this possible?
Thanks!

Hi there,
Ditto for me. Have it working on Nexus 7 2013 and hoping to do the same on the Tab A (SM-T285). How far have you got? I'm about to setup a breadboard with a pot on pins 4 + 5 as a standard 100k doesn't seem to do it.
OTG simultaneous charging
Hi
I have the same requirement, apparently one needs a custom kernel where this is enabled. Have anyone made progress on this ?
Dang, saw this thread and hoped for more information. I am testing out an SM-P580 to replace my Nexus 7 (2012) and need to see if OTG and charging work together. I am hoping to find some time later this week to connect it up to the car and see what works and what does not. The biggest headache is the charger port is reversed compared to the port on the Nexus 7, so currently, I cannot see the screen to test anything. Hoping that OTG + Charging will work, because at that point then things (hopefully) get easier and I just need to fabricate mounting the tablet in the dash.
Fitting a 10" tablet while making it look at least semi stock is not going to be the easiest thing in the world, so I am hopeful of getting everything working before starting to tear my car apart.

Did you find a solution? Which device did you use instead of Nexus 7?

Nothing yet, the Samsung I have did not work with OTG + charging and I did not want to pay $50 for an adapter that has so so reviews at best. At the moment I am getting set to try an LG G-Pad 8.0, which I am fairly confident will work as it has 2 USB ports, a full sized and a micro. The only problems I can see with this are that the USB ports are on opposite ends of the device, which might make it difficult to actually integrate into my dash, I am debating removing the rear cover and seeing if I can relocate the full size USB port or both to plug into the back instead of the top/bottom. The other problem is, for this particular model at least, finding any updated ROM's / root is proving difficult. It's an LG UK-495, would be cool to find some ROM's and possible SIM unlock it as well, I could the put a Google Fi chip in there and use it for calls right from the dash.
Hi there!
Like many others, my Shield TV also received the Experience 6.0 update. And, since my device is from the first generation, I was wondering if there would be a way to have always on functionality for the Assistant.
Of course, I know that there is the option to buy a second gen controller but, at 70€, that would be a bit too steep for the added functionality.
So, is there a change to add an always on microphone to the 1st Gen Shield TV? Maybe through an USB sound card? Any other ideas?
Thanks!
You can probably buy a cheap usb microphone from amazon or best buy something like that and plug it in or even use an old webcam that has a mic and plug it in I had an old Logitech one laying around and i used it like that basically the shield just needs a mic , so it would probably work it worked with the google search when i tried it.
Hi Guys,
I bought an LT21 kids smartwatch from Aliexpress (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001446267941.html) last year. Thanks to discussions from fellow forum users (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/g4h-kids-smartwatch.4161581/), I managed to install extra apk (e.g., telegram) for the smartwatch via a 4-pin charge cable. It made this device much more interesting instantly.
Subsequently, I bought another one. But it was a LT31 model (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003299295538.html), a more refined one. However, the 4-pin charge cable trick no longer works. Has anyone figured out similar tricks that would allow for extra apk installation for LT31?
Thanks in advance.
