Hello Everyone i am certainly not new to XDA but yes new to this thread! and i really want to know that! should i go for S5 ad i getting it in Rs. 28,000 / $ 450
and i really like this phone but getting a Exynos version and ofcourse as i am from INDIA...and what type of major user are here?! Exynos or snapdragon? and from what region of from exynos...please do tell me AS i will be developing for Exynos only!
So, my main question is...is there a development scope in Exynos version! or it is already tooo packed with lots of ROMs or really empty with no resources! and i want to know that...where can i find it's respective thread?
i would really like your suggestion of me being welcomed here or going somewhere else !
I am wondering when will galaxy s6 edge will get aosp love. Its about more then 2 months now for s6 and s6 edge.
Anyone one working on it like cm roms etc ??
This question is as old as the S6 Edge. I've seen it asked multiple times, and there is already an open thread on the topic here:

Tl;dr - Don't count on it anytime soon thanks to proprietary drivers. If you buy a Samsung product, you'd better learn to be content with TouchWiz.

I am the developer of Note 5 RiverROM (S7 Edge Full Port Features, applications etc). I have received some positive feedbacks from S6 Edge Plus users as this rom works good on their devices too. As we know these two devices have got identical chipsets, screen sizes etc. So, I have decided to open a thread for first step testing. If anyone is interested, please welcome to test. First of all please visit my Note 5 thread and take a look at the rom features, known issues and so on. If you S6 Edge Plus users want to try a new rom, please leave a comment here and Vote. Thanks.
If you are willing to see and support RiverROM in your forum, I would develop my rom for you with latest S6 Edge Plus firmware base.

You can head up to Note 5 thread, download and test it so, new update is coming tomorrow or wednesday.

I know this is probably already posted somewhere, but I'm new and I have tried to find something answering this question, but I feel like a blind man trying to read a map. I just bought a T-Mobile S7 Edge off of a friend, because the touchscreen stopped working on my S6. I have been using a back up old flip phone for the past week, and when i tried to add the T-Mobile S7 Edge to my account, it cant find the phone via the IMEI. The phone is permanantly unlocked. I know that T-Mobile uses GSN, and Verizon CDMA, but from the things that I have found, it is possible to get it switched over. I just haven't figured out exactly how to do it though. The few things that I find don't really tell me exactly what I need to do. I currently have the SM-G395U build on the phone. Can someone please tell me what I need to do in order to switch m phone over? Or at least point me in the right direction please? The flippity-flip is making me want to shoot myself. You would be helping me out so much you have NO IDEA! PLEASE HELP!! Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section, but I felt this would be a good place to start.

You won't find no love with snapdragon based questions. Xda is all about exynos... your best bet is to seek out a cool developer and pm him... sad thing is that this is still the best site to find a good solution.... good luck.....
