Serious Problem

Hi everyone this is my third thread today and Im going outta my mind!!!
Whatever firmware I flash Kies doesnt allow me to restore my firmware to what it was!!!!!!!! It also says that this deviceversion cannot be updated anymore just like someone else mentioned on the forum.
Can anyone help me please!!
What firmware are you trying to flash? Kies is only for official updates. You must use Odin to flash other/beta firmwares.
read the faq thread in the development section.
right now jf3 as someone stated thats the stock one, but i want to go back to the stock one and let KIES do the updates how am I able to do this?
Anybody???
you will have to use Odin, or ROM Manager to install previous version of the ROMs
you can not use Kies to restore back to original ROM
But if i flash the original firmware will I then be able to use Kies again or will I never be able to use Kies to update?
Use Odin to flash back to JF3 then Kies should be able to handle official updates from then on.
I did that it still says that the phone is not able to be updated anymore I think because I really need the dutch firmware
If you flash back to JF3 you would still get that he can't upgrade the phone. I got that message also when I was back on the stock-rom.
There is no official dutch update after JF3. So you allway get that he can't upgrade the phone.
I think/hope that the new Frodo update you can install with KIES. But can't be sure until there is a new update in KIES.
Im about to cry right now is there no system recovery?
About to cry?? What is the problem? If you are in holland there is no official update available. Use odin if you want to flash newer firmware or wait till september.

Man what the hell is wrong anyway? Kies will ALWAYS show that message untill Samsung releases an official update... There is nothing to update so obviously Kies will tell you that there is nothing to update! Obviously. Only in September we will see official updates... Wait untill then...

No you dont get it, it doesnt say theres no update available, it says the phone cant be updated anymore... when I hadnt flashed it said theres no new update available...

[Q] stock GS4.. so where is the OTA??

so is being a couple of weeks since the MF3 OTA came out, I have a GS4 ATT, that keeps saying I’m up to date. (ACUAMDL).
don’t care much about being rooted I just want the update, I spoke with the ATT people about the MF3 and they just look at me like I was speaking Chinese. They said “ the most recent update is jelly bean” !?!? LOL
the Samsung people told me to do the update via KIES, and KIES keeps saying the same thing, “I’m up to date”
so where is the update ?! … why is so hard to get the updates? Where can I get the update?
Can someone shed some light on this matter please
coming from an iphone i guess there are many things i dont understand about android

I'm new to root...

Hello all from Italy.
Two days ago I rooted my Samsung Galaxy S4 and I'm wondering what to do when Samsung will release some new update for this phone, as the OTA feature is now deactivated due for firmware modifications.
I've also reset the counter via "Triangle Away" and the firmware is now detected as "original".
I'm not interested for the moment in a custom firmware and would like to keep the original Samsung.
My questions are:
1) can I incrementally update my phone via Kies, any times Samsung will release new patches (OTA is disabled) ?
2) someone told me Odin has an update feature that permit to install incremental updates anytime Samsung release them, but I've not found this feature.
3) if I use Odin to update the firmware I will loose any data, applications, settings and homescreen configurations or I can restore a backup made with Kies?
I'm sorry for my poor english, for my inexperience and hope to get help from someone.
Thank you and have a nice day.

if u have rooted device for now you wont get any ota and cannot get any update using kies u can use Odin to flash latest update available for your variant
the firmware you can get it from sammobile.com or u can also see my sign it has a link
2nd option
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250824
use the link above it has pre rooted firmware which will allow you to get OTA and kies update but once u flash u ll loose root
Note: the 2nd option is valid for variant i9505 international use only if u have that or go through the link to get more details
Thanks for your reply.
Just a question: if I unroot my phone using the "SuperSU" feature then can I have OTA and Kies updates working again or a total flash is still needed?
In few words a unroot with the SuperSU feature is useless or not?

U must flash pre rooted firmware from the link I gave to get OTA
or must flash stock firmware and reset the device to get OTA that's the best option as per me

N910H OTA update fails to install

Hi guys, I'm having trouble updating my N910H. I'm almost a newbie, so please take that into account.
I have a Note 4 N910H with TTT as its original region for updates. Since that region barely receives any OTA updates, I installled the stock firmware 5.1.1 from some other region, RSU if I remember correctly, might be other though.
I received an OTA for my phone, but it fails to install. After the instalation begins, it will stop at 32% and then will reboot the phone, asking me to send a report to Samsung and so on. The OTA update version is N910HXXU2CPB2/N910HOJV2CPB1/N910HXXU1COJ2
A message tells me to try updating through Smart Switch, but once I connect the phone via USB, SS will show my current OJ4 (TTT) as its lastest firmware available.
So, this is where I stand now.
Please give me a hand with this. I appreciate your help in advance.
I'm unable to post the screenshots due to insufficient numbers of post.
Well the only suggestion I could give you is download the latest ROM for your model (H version) from sammobile.com and then flash it with Odin.
Something must have changed in system level in your ROM, that's why the OTA is failing. No big deal anyway.
