Like.... The os is there. Everything works... Except:
Sound (main,earpiece and earphones)
Camera
Adb
Recovery
Mic
Bluetooth
... So basically a "Nophone"© no srl I can't call I can't hear music I can't connect to blutooth
This is more stupid than mp3 Player... Basically a ebook with a color display...
It happend after I did a restore on nougat of a nougat backup... Worked ok but then I did a format and now the recovery is away. Adb doesn't work so no fastboot...
You used OldDroid's TWRP? If yes the recovery has some problem of backup/restore as reported by many users. My advice is to clean install again the ROM

To relock the device ,right?
The 3 button mode doesn't work because my phone is unlocked...
The only way to relock the device is flashing oeminfo, you should try to follow a guide or do the same thing you did before to get EMUI 5 (if you are on it)

Unlock bootloader officially or unofficially. White ASUS Splashcreen will appear if unlocked successfully. Then go to bootloader then flash your twrp and now you can install customs ROM.
You can still root your device without unlocking bootloader or flashing twrp. Just download a pre-rooted firmware then flash using commands.

You dont need to be in the recovery to this, you just need to be in bootloader mode, connect your device to you computer then fastboot flash the parts of the pre-rooted firmware using fastboot commands.

Hey,
You need the stock recovery.
I can upload the img file tomorrow, when I'm at home.
Or you download and unpack it on your own like explained here.
Hey,
I uploaded stock recovery here.
Just flash in fastboot mode and try ota again.
Should work now. But it could relock bootloader if it does the full ota and not just the update..

THX A LOT!!!!
U saved my day!!!!!!
relock is no problem... because I m not really sure if I need it open..can´t decide if root or not at the moment because
it´s not perfectly clear to me what r the benefits...except being able to install adaway.apk to get rid of the annoying advertisings

Nothing to loose, if it doesn't, just reflash twrp again.

Hey guys,
i still didn´t get it to work. Any Tipps for a LG Noob, how to get back to stock recovery?
plz give me a hint or throw a link in at me, If i´m missing something obvious :silly:
Can't you just install the official LG suite software on a desktop or laptop and then use that? It will probably detect the missing or "damaged" recovery and then automatically "repair".

Now I'm on stock rom with stock recovery, but the "fastboot oem lock" leads to a "corrupt device" that will not boot anymore. Can't the H870 (europe) be relocked, once it was unlocked via unlock.bin?
Isn't that the exact same procedure but then simply choosing "lock"?

i thought it was, but as a mentioned, it leads to a startscreen, that says: your device is corrupt and will not boot. after flashing the unlock bin it boots again

Is there a "lock.bin" file that can be fetched from the LG site maybe?
From the LG developer site:
4. Once unlocked, it cannot be undone.
There is no turning back once you have unlocked the bootloader. You will not be able to revert your phone to locked status.

I'm interested in buying a LG G6. Can you please explain a little bit more what you did to re-lock? Where did you get the kdz image (which region) and what steps did you do? I'm completely new to LG devices.
Just bought this phone...i tried using the toolkit and the recovery menu...phone wont boot into fastboot mode. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to fix this.

well it actually shouldn't. axon7toolkit should flash fastboot onto your phone
But I thought the Chinese still had fastboot... Did you enable OEM unlocking?
Try enabling USB debugging too, and use a pc with ADB to issue 'adb reboot bootloader'. maybe it'll get there, maybe not
Thanks for the help...i flashed b13 and eventually unlocked the bootloader, flashed twrp and root however when i flash a rom the zte screen comes up then the phone shuts down
