As the title says, I installed CyanogenMod on my stock Samsung with Google Authenticator and lost all my authentication keys. Can you somehow recover the Authenticator database?

Just tested, the Battle.net Authenticator works perfectly when using Titanium Backup (Free) from the market to backup data before changing roms.
I replaced my Linux install with the new mattc froyo 1.3a and restored system data + apps with titanium backup and the codes generated by battle.net authenticator are still working fine...logged into battle.net without a problem.
Funny you say it's working fine...but I've done this exact same thing and it will not let me on battle.net
Well but it isn't that difficult: Log in to Battle.net - remove the actual Authenticator, install and run your new prefered Build and add the Authenticator again. You know that almost all Builds are getting updated again and again. So if you want to be up to date, just do those few steps to avoid losing your battle.net login for some time.
Hey all,
I just succesfully flashed Android 2.3.4 to my SGS. Also I succeeded in restoring all my apps with Titanium Backup (I didn't restore System-Apps and Data). I linked the new system to my Google Account, and hoped that my phone contacts would be restored. However they are all gone and although my phone syncs with my Google Account it doesn't retrieve the contacts. What can I do? Are they somewhere in the Titanium Backup?
Thanks for your help.
have you checked that you set your phone to show you google contacts?
you can set it in display settings in your contacts
Well I successfully rooted my X from .621 and currently running Vortex. The only thing I did wrong was to backup my contacts before I started flashing. What is the best way to backup phone contacts so I will not lose them when I start flashing different ROMs?
Your contacts should be synced with your Google account so that as long as you enter your Google account information all your data should there.
But if for some reason your contacts are not synced with your Google account, I recommend an application called MyBackup Root.
It's great for backing up apps, data, contacts, SMS, and etc.

+1 for MyBackup. Seems to be the only thing that's ever successfully backed up and restored my contacts if Google fails to do so.
That said, I don't think Google has failed much.
Hi guys.
I used S Planner in my S4 i9505 as I installed 'a Cakendar'.
When I selected the kalendar list, all events got deleted and now I have a plain calendar.
I don't have a backup on my Google account, nor Samsung Account or a backup with Kies.
Is there any way to get this data?
I don't have root or an unlocked bootloader on this device.

Make sure the accounts in the app are set properly. If so, then the data is gone and no way to retrieve it.

To get your data back you should backup your data to your Samsung account. If you was not backuped your things you can not get your notes. Sorry for bad English :good:
Thank you guys. The sync was disabled and not backuped in Google/Samsung account.
Well next time I know why you should backup everything.
I need to do a factory reset on my Samsung Galaxy Y so first I need to backup the contacts, SMS messages and call logs. The Samsung PC software (KIES) only does contacts, but the app Super Backup does all 3. However, I have another problem in that I can't install apps from the Google Play Store (I get the error "Authentication is required. You need to sign in to your Google Account" - I have had this problem forever, and my phone simply won't sign in to Google. The factory reset might sort this out.)
So, my question is: how can I install an app (or specifically the Super Backup app) without doing so via the Play Store?
