thanks!
This will be amazing! I will wait 'til someone can successfully port Nethunter. Good luck.
Can anyone explain what is this exactly???
Thanks
Try Google.....
I got Kali Nethunter working using LOS and RR
But no HID support, since we need kernel to make it work
Anyone can modify the kernel using the following kernel they provide?
RR by opendata
https://github.com/opendata26/android_kernel_sony_msm8974
LOS by rcstar6696
https://github.com/rcstar6696/android_kernel_sony_msm8974
This is the guide to modify the kernel, i tried it but it failed, this was my first try on kernel modifying, i think i need more knowledge to do this LOL
Please look at it if anyone can modify, then we can make a guide how to fully port Kali on Xperia Z2
https://github.com/offensive-security/kali-nethunter/wiki/Modifying-the-Kernel
Totally forgot about this, will try today

No.
Previously, using RR with Kali Nethunter (no kernel), Network Interface display correct information.
Right now, i'm using LOS latest, not yet tried on RR, do you think RR might fix this?

Finally, thank you so much for the first aosp ROM
I can not get contact to a moderator, if anyone could move this thread to Xperia Z2/Android Development, this would be nice!
Actually, the pure AOSP builds have root rights, they only work via terminal emulator or adb shell. I managed to get Gapps and SuperSU working on my build by temporarily flashing CM12.1 boot.img to get to the recovery and flashing them. But it isn't exactly usable, as the Google config screen is constantly getting FC'd. Well, that's Sony for you .

Nope, I'd probably do but there are two major problems - the Gapps FC's and the delayed lockscreen. And I had to compile it TWICE, making the mistake of typing the NUMBER in and not the NAME, I've been compiling the generic version for almost 8 hours. So yeah, I'm waiting for Sony's Marshmallow or CM13.

Okay, so here is my Impression with this ROM after a first use:
- SIM does not work for me (no mobileconnection in general)
- Wifi does work
- SD card does not work
- Camera was not tested -> could not download an app due to playstore missing and SD not working properly
Any progress?
Hi,
I've built my own LineageOS 13.0 + Kernel + TWRP and flashed everything to my phone, but the phone just keep booting LineageOS (Logo + Language picker), can someone help me debug and fix this ?
I'm on ubuntu 16.04 with fresh LineageOS 13.0 repo and my device sources are from : https://github.com/MSM8226-Samsung/
Hi,
Well it seems that my /system/lib is empty after flashing my LineageOS rom... I don't actually know whats happening.
Looks like some proprietary blobs are missing (libloc_core.so), I'll try to pull them from STOCK Rom.
I've successfully launched my own LineageOS!

I did 3 things, 1st i downloaded blobs from MSM8226 github, 2nd I triied to extract my blobs with 'extract_proprietarty.sh' and last, I extracted my stock ROM system.img and ran 'extract_proprietarty.sh' on the extracted folder, but some blobs are always missing after flashing my own rom...
After some debugging, I found all missing blobs (some were not in my stock ROM so I had to copy em from another ROM (cyanogen 13)).
But I still have a lot of graphics errors and random crash.
I am not able to try anymore as I needed a phone, so I've just flashed a CyanogenMod 13.0 and everything is working great. Maybe I'll try to build a Custom ROM for another phone, dunno.

Try Android Blob Utility then. This will dump whatever dependent blobs a given blob needs. That'll give you all the blobs needed.
Also attach a logcat.

I too had ERROR in TWRP (from TWRP site and treble TWRP), just removed from updater-script 1 line and it's working fine on treble TWRP.
Awesome work mate with this port. Do you tried to install alien dalvik? I found some instructions on maemo forum.
I set camera in 10MP mode and it's not working now, and I can't use app "touch" from jolla store.

Hi, I found some bugs, you mentioned GPS (network location working, I tested WhoGo maps and it's show close location), sensors and:
Low camera resolution, low maximum brightness (on sun I see nothing) and I can't do logcat with alien dalvik (I wrote to you in IRC channel). Torch is working fine, now I'm using system torch.
With latest update stock browser working fine.
I tested mobile data, sms, phone calls, wifi, camera (front, back), recording and playing it. All good
If you need any log or testing help just PM me or give instruction here.
I also wrote to MOD to move thread to development and it's happened.
Again thanks for work at this port.
what is pwd? I input unlock pass but not work.

Do not update software. Might brick. If you accidentally updated software. Use fastboot to flash stock zui rom.

The battery backup is around 5hrs+ sot. Similar to miui. I cannot post sgsi if i haven't tried it, and i dont think i am gonna try oneplus port anytime soon. But most sgsi's follow similar procedures to install.

Nice ??
wallpaper back to default every restart
Installation instruction tells us to use narshi shuckls's ROM for Vendor. Narshi shuckla has used moxie kernel. But in your screenshot shows prototype kernel. Did you use any other ROM as treble base or is the screeshots are from another device?
I have managed to install KALI Net Hunter_Full-Chroot (ROOTED). Downloaded the NetHunter Lite ARM64 (Full) from Kali.org and loaded it as a module on Magisk, updated the 3 dependent .apk's follow the prompt to open - update - upgrade and rebooted a few times when needed. Boot Animation and all.

Confirmed working on 1.1.7
I apologize for no responses I was out of pocket. As the other user indicated it should work for 1.1.7.

You will need a custom kernel in order to have all functions with NetHunter. This I have provided on
[ KERNEL / A12 A13 ] Nothing NetHunter 1 (R2)
This is the Nothing NetHunter 1 (R3) which is built for Android 12/13 (AOSP) INSTALLATION 1 Install Paranoid Android Topaz from over here and setup the rom properly, install Magisk and root the kernel/device. 2. Download / Install...

hello, I have a question because the software version is 1.5.2. I installed nethunter via magisk and everything works but I can't change the bootanimation. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

I am very sorry my mistake. as I wrote everything, I have magisk root and nethunter installed, but I can't change the bootanimation. I tried to upload it again, manually change it under adb but it doesn't work.

I will link a github page that I recommend using to change Bootanimation. it may only work on Linux. I will reply in a moment with the link.

Here are two different links. One is a boot animation maker and the second one is a Magisk Module that will replace the existing animation.
Android Bootanimation Maker
Magisk Module to replace Bootanimation

Personally I haven't got to that point yet cause my phone is still under warranty. However, changing the boot animation worked great in the early years of android, and it's still doable, but not as easy.
completely understand the warranty aspect and not wanting to mess it up. I know you didn't ask but for me I got the Spacewar phone before it was even "working in the US" bought it from Amazon France. Returned it to them received a refund then the package came back to my address. So essentially I got model that has 12gb of RAM for free. All thanks to Amazon and their crappy returns address on that side of the world. So Amazon is good to me. hahaha
