I`m about to follow this thread h/ttps://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/fix-unbrick-lg-g2-stuck-qualcomm-hs-usb-t2933830 to unbrick my phone. I bricked it by flashing lollipop baseband and loki bootloader. The problem is that my phone says it`s on Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5) and the tutorial says (COM10), will that be a problem? Also for the .tot rom, does it matter which one i use because i flashed basebands? I had this phone for 2 days. I need your help.
Port can be changed easily from Device Manager> double click on your Qualcomm HSUSB-QDLoader> Ports> Advanced options, then select COM10 or whatever you need.
I managed to fix it

Hey guys,
finally i bricked my phone...
After a failed flash to TWRP recovery and a failed unbrick with fastboot, the phone won't start. Blackscreen. Only in device manager it show's "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". Is there any chance to unbrick or should i get a new mainboard?
PS: Sorry for my bad english, im from Germany
Thank you in advance

@JaDaKiZz welcome to the party - read this http://www.reddit.com/r/lgg2/comments/2p5xei/the_lg_g2_is_unbrickable_a_story_of_death_and/ and let me know if you need any help. The MOST IMPORTANT thing you need to do is figure out the right KDZ for your phone.

replace xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with your IMEI

I have hard-bricked my xperia l to the point that it shows no leds and is completely life-less.
Anyone with the proper knowledge of QPST and unbricking the device using the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 mode, PLEASE PM ME!!!
Urgent help required.
Thanks in Advance.
Hey find a stock rom specific for phone and flash it using pc or if u can access ur recovery mode. Hope this help or head straightaway to sony authorized centre
you can make the 8x30msmimage.mbn out of stock firmware + QPST. You can't make the hex, it is probably carrier key specific. Qualcomm bootloader signature verification strikes again.

If you can get the thing to go into fastboot (by pressing whatever button combination is appropriate for your specific device) and provided you have a backup of the partitions you damaged you can use fastboot to reflash the damaged partitions.
Google search for "[Guide] de-bricking a ZTE Blade - ZTE Blade / Libra ROMs & ROM" that will have various scenarios for debrikcing.
well... I didn't manage to get into fastboot but I managed to download a flasher! I connected my phone and it started installing things but it always stuck on ''wait reset''................................

Sometimes it is necessary to erase flash partitions before flashing them ... not sure if this is your issue but be warned that you could make things worse by doing so.
Can your phone start into ant of the other modes: recovery, field test or download mode ? if is can make sure you don't further damage the relevant partitions + the boot loader and whatever is used before the boot loader.
I've a snapdragon 600 based devel board and there are 2 stages of primary boot loader before LK ... not sure for your soc but make sure you don't dammage them if they are OK.
My is is hard bricked... I cant get into any mode... The only thing i can do is just to connect it to my pc ... And it is recognized as forge hs-usb qdloader 9008..... I found a program at androidbrick.com that may help but i cant use it because it is protected with a pssword that i dont know...

I see people asking for the password on their forum ... regiter yourself there and ask for the password like the other users. If I knew it I'd give it to you
I'm not allowed to post links ... I'd point you to the url where people are asking for the password if I could.
Try searching with google : "Ultimate Qualcomm Snapdragon Unbrick Guide"
Thank you really much!

So, I side loaded build no. 13.8.26.76 to my phone, not knowing that it was meant only for the snapdragon 410 counterpart (mine is 615 one). It installed successfully until I rebooted and phone stayed dead. I think I hard bricked it
No logo, no charging, can't enter recovery or fastboot. No nothing... Connected device to PC, and windows doesn't recognize it.
Please help me....

Hello, I had a very little progress. I gave up about my asus zenfone max a year ago but glad that now looks like there's a hope in reviving my phone. I was able to download the right files to flash with QFIL. Most people here say that their PC detected QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLOADER 9008 but mine detect it as QUALCOMM HS-USB DIAGNOSTICS 9006. Due to excitement, I flashed it anyway and it created some memory partition on my hard drive whenever I plug the phone but QFIL gave me an error of :
** Download Fail: Switch To EDL Fail Failed to switch to Emergency Download Mode
I tried to google this error, some encountered it and was able to get a resolution by just removing the battery before plugging it in but our zenfone is with non removable battery. I have no luck yet. Anyone got suggestions ?

Check my post for detailed instructions. And yes, I did face that issue and fixed it by reinserting the battery. It's a bit risky, but worth a try. Try watching some YouTube teardown videos

It's on my profile. I haven't mentioned the disassembly part since it was not required in general cases. Check my profile for the detailed instructions
Hey Man. I'm currently working on my phone. I already tried removing the battery but I'm still getting the error:
Download Fail: Switch to EDL Fail.
hopes are going narrow. Now I don't know what to do.

If you're having trouble with QFIL, best thing to do is uninstall Qualcomm drivers, reboot, reinstall, try again. Repeat until you can flash without problem.
I had to uninstall many times. Don't lose hope. It takes a lot of effort
hey Sree. I noticed that it is being detected as Qualcomm HS-USB diagnostics 9006. So what I did is I forced driver to install Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. I'm now having a Sahara error. I'll try reinstalling drivers but I have a quastion. Does QFIL version matter ?

I don't know. I used the latest one. Try the version linked in my original post. Also, of you're getting sahara fail, it's ok. You're on right track. Uninstall driver, reboot and reinstall. It'll take hell a lot of tries, but will work eventually
Hey guys, I recently had an accident while trying to install stock firmware on my device. I tried to manually install a stock firmware ROM and in the middle of it the device just shut of. What I'm left with is a device which doesn't have fastboot or any other method of recovery other then through some qualcomm tools. The driver shows up as "qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008" on my computer. I tried following this guide https://www.droidsavvy.com/unbrick-qualcomm-mobiles/ and concluded that I'm stuck on the old hard brick and tried to follow the instructions but the problem here is that I don't think that I have the correct ROM file for QFIL because the firmware are zip files and not mbn as I think they are supposed to be. If anyone could help me with this in any way I'd really appreciate it, Thank you!
same as you man did you find a solution?
