Hi, i have a big problem when i connect my qtek to pc activesync 4.5 doesn't find the mobile, and pc doesnt recognize device on usb. please help me
i use windows xp sp3
If computer is coming up with 'device unrecognised' I usually found that a reboot (of both PC and Uni) was the only way to solve this. Once PC had not recognised the Uni it would not be persuaded!
Hello,
I can't transfer files on the HD2 using Windows XP. In USB mode or Recovery, it wouldn't be recognized by the OS. In Magdlr mode, it gets mounted but works only for 10 seconds then it gets disconnected...
Any idea on how to resolve this ?
Do you have proper drivers installed?
Which one ? Drivers from the sdk ? Because they are installed and it doesn't help...
the drivers for the usb mode from activesync/windows device centre
I installed Active Sync 4.5 and usb mode doesn't work either. Windows Mobile Center is for Vista and 7...
Hi everybody,
after trying for a couple of hours to no avail to connect the 10.1v to my PC (XP) I have found out that the PC just needed to install the actual Windows Media Player 11 which seems to inclued the necessary (MTP) drivers.
The 10.1 installs fine afterwards.
Just to let you know in case you had the same problem
Hello,
several days ago, I installed Windows 8 64bit on my laptop. The problem is, that Windows does not recognize that Android device was connected. If I connect Nexus 7 (or HTC Vision Z, which I have too), nothing happens. Both devices have developer mode on. Neither of them recognizes that they are connected to PC (they don't offer me the connection mode mtp/ptp or mass storage).
Windows update is done, there are no new updates.
I've tried installing PDAnet_Drivers_64bit.exe, without luck. Yes, I've tried RAW drivers from WugFresh, but I can't install drivers for device, that is not present in Windows Device Manager (or can I? How?).
Laptop is Dell Latitude E6410.
Nexus 7 is running stock Android (4.2.2).
HTC Vision Z is running CyanogenMod 7.2 (I'm mentioning it just for complete picture of mine situation, I need to get Nexus working).
Thank you for your time, attention and hopefully help.
I am running x64 Win8 at home, and I just went to Asus's site to install their N7 USB drivers, right-clicked on the .exe file and selected "Run as Administrator", and they installed fine.
I do not run adb/fastboot/Android SDK on my Win8 machine, I do all that work with my Win7 laptop.
Thank you, I will try it when I get to PC again.
I tried to connect my G2 with Dell Windows 8.1 64bit laptop. The connection is made (MTP) but it doesn't last (just some minutes). I tried again with my Nexus 10 and the problem is same.
Could anybody give any solution? Thanks.
