Hey guys, not sure if this is the wrong forum, but I figured I'd post here anyways. I have a Touch by HTC through Sprint, (aka HTC Vogue) and I hate it. Well, nothing's wrong with it, really... I just miss my Mogul. So if anyone has an activated Mogul who wants a Touch and wants a no-hassle, straight across trade, contact me via email or reply to this thread.

I can post pictures if you like, but getting to a camera is pretty difficult, nearest one I can borrow is about 15 miles away, lol. Anyways, prefer someone near the Southwestern Iowa/Eastern Nebraska/Northwestern Missouri area. Very simple swap, just go to a real Sprint retailer and ask em to swap ESNs. Can keep your same number and all, and hard - reset both devices back to factory conditions. Also, that way you can see the device before you swap, so you can tell its quality. Let me know if interested!

Wow -- in the store there is about $100 difference. (The Touch is less expensive).
Not anymore. Sprint even'd out the price of the 2. Check their online site. Same price, after rebates.
Hey guys.. What do you think about this... .I have a HTC Hero from Sprint running on Metropcs network. Of course I can browse but no Google maps, or 3rd party apps work. So Should I Change to Sprint and bring my HERO and use it with them, take in mind I have a discount with them of 15% off, and the 450 min plan with unlimited I think WIll be nice...
What do you think?
PS If my phone is in metropcs? and I take it to Sprint, will they notice? The question is will they be like....We won't touch that phone?
The rep most likely will not notice if you bring the phone in the store. As one of the only reps in my store that care about the technical aspect of the phones, I do take an interest as a curiosity, not a reason to give someone a hard time. Majority of reps would not even know what they would be looking for. They will simply take the back off, scan the phone's ESN number and be done with it. Only issue you might run into is if the phone has been reported lost/stolen. That WILL cause issues. Also, if you did something to changer you ESN, you need to get it switched back to the original so that it matches the sticker on the back. No sticker = no activation so don't try that as a short cut. Good luck!
nice....well do you recommedn Sprint?, and no I did not mess with ESN at all. so the phone should be good to go . Ty
I actually really like sprint, so if you find it economical switching would probably be a good choice. You may also want to do a little searching to see how coverage is in your area. I know here in Hawaii coverage is very good. Actually it's been excellent everywhere I've taken it, LA, upstate NY, Detroit, Wash. DC, Oahu.
Well coverage wise... I live in FL i think everything has good signal down here
I dont want to spend over £100 to get the s-off on my wildfire but cant find anyone to hardware unlock my phone, i live in the UK, in the south wales region, so looking for anyone who unlocks these phones in the wales/bristol area, ive rung a few people and no luck so Im calling out to the internet to help me with this dilemma anyone know anyone who could do this for me in the local area, come on peeps give me some help please

I'm thinking of using them unless I can get a pay & go xtc clip for a reasonable price.
There are big threads everywhere with people offering the service just search
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using Tapatalk
could you point me in the direction of said thread i cant find anything
I've just placed an order on Fonefunshop.co.uk and am sending my phone off today.
I'll report back on the service once I get it back.
As the title says. I am looking for somebody in the NYC area I can meet up with and pay to ROOT my TF. I will not try to do this on my own, but want it down badly.
I am located in the bronx but we can meet wherever person chooses. I have a G2 phone rooted and I am looking for the same advantages of that especially on the market...
PLEASE let me know.
I'm going to be traveling soon to Belize, wondering what the best way is to be able to use my phone down there. I had a G3 last year when we went to Mexico, and the Mexico plan addon worked fine for us there for the bit we needed to use it, but I'm not sure what to do this time. I went to the Verizon Trip Planner site but they don't show the 6p of course.
So go buy another sim while I'm down there?
Or should I just turn on airplane mode and use wifi only when I can and rent a local phone?
Check Project Fi's coverage there?

Darned good idea, they are on their "International List", but calls/data/text don't work over the networks there it says.

Any one else have any ideas?
This is what I'm looking at so far.

Not terribly sure how it works, if this gives me a new number for the time I'm down there or what.

A quick google search shows that DigiCell is the largest carrier in Belize, so that might be a good choice. And yes, if you get a sim card from them, you will have a new, temporary number. I don't think you can use your current number (different country codes, network, ect.) without some costly roaming plans from your carrier here in the US. That being said, if you really want to keep your US number, and only plan to call and receive text msg, and don't care about data then you could ask your carrier about how much roaming would cost, and see if it's really worth it.
Yeah, DigiCell is in the second link in my last post. I think that's the way I'm going for it. Unfortunately, none of Verizon's Trip Plan stuff works with the 6P, so I can't even try to see if it'll work. I'm going to contact someone there today but I expect no support because they didn't sell the phone.

Call Verizon and see if you can work out some sort of deal with them that would allow you to roam at a lower cost.
Other than that, the easiest way to go is to pop in one of DigiCell's sim, get yourself a local temporary number, and use VoIP if you want to call home.
Damned fine idea, I contacted them via Chat and they hooked me up. They said that you can just pick a similar spec'd phone in their list to do the Trip Planner stuff and they did it for me. Verified my phone will work in Belize, then gave me the $40 plan add-on for a month per line.
This is almost the same as we did in Mexico last year.
100 talk minutes, 100 texts, 100MB of data. Feels like the 90's again... LOL
Thanks again.
