G900F 5.0 to G900T

There is a way to be able to flash the Android L From the G900F variant firmware by taking the OTA of 5.0 and extracting it to get all the files and only flashing the AP Portion of the file NOT the entire md5 file but The AP file I'm not skilled enough to extract the ota so I was wondering if anyone could do it ? It was done for the Galaxy note 3 so why can't it be done for the s5

Download the latest Odin make sure you have Samsung drivers installed. Open Odin put your phone in download mode and plug it in you'll see added in the bigger box on the left place the corresponding files in their respective slots CSC BL AP and CP then select start and wait. It'll go through the flashing process and you'll pass in green in the upper left hand box and it'll reboot and you'll be back to stock

Can't restore G930P Firmware

Ok so here's my issue
For a very long time since the G930U firmware was available to install, I've been using that. Well I decided to want to get my phone unlocked for GSM using those services but it needs Stock Firmware.
So I tried to restore to the latest G930P firmware and ODIN is giving a Volume size error for the system.img.ex4. I've tried now a couple different firmwares and no luck. Any idea?
The latest Firmware is PH7 I don't recommend it. PG1 on down are good to go. Extract zip stock firmware to a folder and add it in to Odin all the slots accordingly. BL AP CP CSC the last slot CSC is HOME_CSC not CSC_SPT and start flashing. It always works for me.
I ended up figuring it out. I had to find the stock G930P .PIT mapping's and re-partition because G930U ended up changing the sizes.
Oh good to know. Thank for sharing
Why do you not recommend PH7 update? I've heard it helps with battery life.
Could you share the pit file you used. I tried the same thing with a pit file i found online how ever since the pit i am able to flash bootloader but unable to flash system.ext4. Odin gives me a "failed (auth)" and neyjer the 930u version or the f2 or any of the other stock roms wont flash.... Help please
Don't you just love it when people "figure it out" and then don't share how? lol
Here... Since nobody gave you this. This may not be your problem.

[Firmware] G950UOYN2BQK5

This is the latest OTA Update for all major carriers. THIS WILL UPDATE YOUR BOOTLOADER SO THERE IS NO GOING BACK! I'm downloading, uploading to my Google Drive and posting this here as reference.
And of course, after flashing this in Odin you can go to https://samsung.firmware.science and chose QK5 to whichever Oreo Beta is latest or you can enjoy having the latest flashable update.

Uploaded. I already removed the .md5 off the end of the files, just extract and flash away
How do you go about flashing this? Flashing my S5 there was only one file and you loaded that into the AP slot in Odin. With the S8 software it looks like there are 5 separate files. Do you only flash the AP file or all of them? Also, I tried another firmware that was supposed to be Verizon firmwareand had some cricket and metropcs apps installed. Will this be the Verizon firmware that came with the phone from the factory or is it like the other firmware I downloaded and installed from Sammobile? Thanks for any help on this. Trying to get my phone back to how it was when I took it out of the box.

I believe the newer firmwares don't allow you to downgrade past a certain version.

You should try the the stock firmware 8.0(Sammobile) and use a diiferent odin version. I had multiple failed flashes from Nougat to Oreo, until I realized older odin versions cannot flash the new Android Oreo firmwares with compressed binaries (lz4). I used a patched odin (3.13.1) and it worked flawlesss.
