Hi.
I have recently installed zui 2.3.045
Need advice on setting up trebuchet as default launcher and eleven as default music player.
I have downloaded both apks of eleven as well as trebuchet.
They also get installed successfully. But, they don't run. When i click them to open, they blink and close.
Any solutions will be highly appreciated
P.S.
Also,I have installed viper4android and its working.
Any idea how to set it up as default equaliser app
I was able to make pixel launcher its default launcher in zui 2.5. So i guess it should work for other launchers too..
Go to settings and find applications( It should be under additional settings , not sure though).
Then clear defaults of zui launcher . below all apps there is a setting to enable any particular app as default. Choose the desired app.
Hope it helps.
Go to Settings>Advanced Settings>Applications scroll down to bottom, got to preferred apps set defaults as per your wish

Not working.
The music and trebuchet app doesn't even open. It just flashes and closes.

Has anyone been having problems with Play auto adding widgets or apps to the home screen today? It just started earlier. I've already cleared cache, data, etc.. Very weird but even more annoying. OF COURSE the box is unchecked in settings.. lol

Yes, i have that too. I think it is a Google thing, tried everything but still adds icons to the home screens.
you guys disabled it in the settings of the google play app?

Yup, doesn`t help. Cleared Play app data, Google Play Services app data. Didn`t help. Guess it is a Google thing.
If you guys are using Nova Launcher, I would check under its options, too. A recent update for Nova for some unknown reason decides to add an option to override the Play Store auto-add widget/shortcut and is on by default. Nova settings > New Apps

Yes, i use Nova atm. Thanks a lot man, hadn`t noticed that option in Nova
Great I use Nova also. I'll look at that too. Thanks!
Edit: It worked! Thanks. That's an odd Nova thing. At least now we know.

Worked for me! Nova was 100% the culprit on this one.
Thats my first gripe with Nova actually. So, whatever. Easy enough fix
Man, I've been beating my head on this for a bit. I NEVER would have thought to look in the Nova settings.
Thanks a ton tysj!
FINALLY! Thanks for the help! What is sad is that I have looked through the Nova settings and I didn't find it. I think I only looked through settings>desktop.
Everybody are freaking out the new android 4.4 apps, but I haven't seen any thread about them yet.
So I put all the apks in my dropbox folder here in case you guys need them
Installation
In order to get a proper functionally launcher, you have to install Google Play Services, then Google Search and for last, the itself launcher. Before you open it, open Google search, search something, reboot, open again Google search and search something else. After these steps you can open the launcher with no errors.
Tips
- If you don't like Google Now in the left side of the home, tap and hold on the screen and choose settings, then shut down Google Now
- If you want more than 2 screen, put a widget (google search isn't a widget, so don't bother asking ) like a clock on the main screen, then, from app drawer, pick an icon and put it on the right side of the home.
That's it, have a nice downloading

Mine are well defined, that's strange. Are you running on a stock rom? I'm running the new launcher on Slimsaber and they're pretty good looking.
Any others at all??

Cheers for this. All apps seem to install fine on Carbon 1.8 (JB 4.2.2)... just need to backup and uninstall the originals first before installing these newer version.
You don't by chance have any of the other Google/system apps do you. Specifically the contacts, Google Plus, Play Store (the app not the service as provided) Calendar and Google Maps??
Cheers in advance

Updated with Google+.apk and Calendar.apk (take a while for uploading). Play Store and Maps haven't been updated, so they're the same that you can find in the last gapps.
The feature is just grayed out, any help?
Same deal when I updated my N910K, spent a few days trying to get it happening, no result. So I've gone on to using Utter, great little app.

I'm specifically looking for a way to make Google now work, but I'll go ahead and give this a try anyway thanks
+1
Set English US as a language and try again.
Well, this is what fixed it for me (SM-N910F, German Lollipop ROM) though it still doesn't work with the screen off, for me at least.
1) In Settings -> Application manager -> All, find "S Voice". Disable it.
2) Reboot
3) "OK Google" settings are now enabled (and stay that way)
I have set it as US English

Easy! Download google now launcher slide to the left you will see google now feed like the flipboard feed on touchwiz. Go google now settings go to voice and activate google now when screen is off. It works! Then you can uninstall google now launcher if you like.

Same problem too, but if you change the launcher, you will see it in apps
I also acquired that app after B391 update in my Huawei P9. I was only able to use it when i select photos/videos from the gallery > Share > Quik.
If i remember correctly, using Nova Launcher Prime will make Quik show up in the app drawer.
