I have seen this before and clearing the data and cache from the google play store and services would normally fix it. Not this time. I can't install apps at all. They just sit there downloading.
Any ideas?
You need to cancel all them and try one or two at a time. I've had that happen before.

Well that's strange then, you've did everything right. Only thing i can think of is Uninstall updates to playstore and try again. If that doesn't work. Looks like a factory reset. Sorry,

I just connected to the wifi in my hotel and it works. So it's only when I am on mobile data. Strange. My mobile data speed is near or over 100 mbps.
Have you set it up in settings to download over metered data?

I just checked connections-data usage , and data saver is off, mobile data is on and there are no restrictions. Data roaming is allowed and Mobile networks. Is there another setting for "metered data"
Everything else is working fine. Netflix etc.

It's working now. Go figure.
Have the same problem. App downloads 100% but does not actually installs. Although id you close all apps and open google play after that the app will be magically installed.
It looks like phone is blocking some process responsible for app install?

or at least a stable CM13 is released!
plus : i had random instagram crashes!
and i got a lower score on Geekbench!! 1200/4230
What is wrong with multitasking?
I like the new multitasking it's smoother and a little bit larger, but it s a delay with the close apps button

Is anyone else having problems trying to pay for apps in the Google play store?
Everything I try to download a paid app Google play crashes. Free apps download fine though.

I booted into recovery to wipe cache and it gave me a message that it was installing the update. I'm on PC5 and I don't want to update. Not sure how I stopped it exactly but I just started pressing and holding down all the buttons and it eventually stopped the update (gave me the little dead android image) then booted into recovery. I wiped the cache and rebooted and all was well. Still on PC5.
So yea, if you are trying to avoid updates, don't boot into recovery unless you know what magic button combo it was to stop the update.
There's several ways to avoid updates. I've been in recovery several times. You can disable automatic updates in settings or disable it in package disabler. I had the installer thing go in recovery but it didn't install anything

I'm on pb5.... My performance is fine, battery life great. Hotspot hack works. Why would I want to update?

For one, the security risk. For two, the fixed/improved wifi calling comes to mind? I used to root all the time, these days, I just don't get why you would?

There's a few things, but I can understand you want hotspot. I heard it still works on update but not sure how true it is. I'm surrounded by wifi 24/7 so no need for hotspot.

There will always be security risk and I have no use for WiFi calling, so I guess personal preference

I am having issues finding it too. When I go to back up area I only see my gmail account. Would someone mind posting a screen shot of were it is located?
Wait...is it this? Just doesn't say "Samsung Cloud" specifically?

No idea here. Search around for a while and came up empty.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N930A using XDA-Developers mobile app
The workaround I found was to back up the files to your computer or whatever then delete the albums that were syncing then go back in and choose what folder you want to back up. It cleaned it up for me I have 5gb free but there's one folder that won't delete for some reason. I really wish they would've given you the option to select initially before going all willy nilly. Lol

Sounds like you've got a rogue app or service running. Find out which one(s) are running in the background.

If this problem persists Try Greenify app It shuts down background processes when you lock your phone ! Works for me
Again if it happens again and again!

Same. Probably it refers to mobile data connection.
I just deleted all stored wifi access points and it cleared up.
I'm wondering if direct share being on was the culprit. I'll check and update.

I don't know. Sometimes it the chart does show it's off. Example , if I "forget" my wifi access points so basically device cannot auto connect or know the password of the access point then the chart shows no wifi connection.
