It will not due to the fact that one doesn't use a type C
If you are talking about the one with the Note 7 the probably that one is the one given to use as it has the ability to do either or.

I understand that both have different USBs, and thats why I asked, if its used with the USB-C adapter that came with the galaxy S8.

It wouldn't fit period. The adapter is way too large even if you stripped all the plastic away and tried making it smaller.
There's a reason why Samsung made a new one where you can change the end.

That is shameful. I was hoping it will still work as I left the small adapter at work. Now I need to constantly borrow my wifes S7 edge. She won't like that.

For reference. You see where the black plastic Is? Probably 2-3mm where the metal meets the plastic is where the end of the USBC needs to be to even allow a device to fit with an adapter.
Your best option is to wait for the one that comes with your preorder. If you bought it 3rd party then your best bet is to buy a new one.
Or you can give your wife the 8 and you sport the 7 if VR is important to you.

That sucks. I took the $99 bundle and probably sell off all of it except the headphones. I need another pair as my old ones are like 4 years old. I have people lined up already where I will get paid $40 just to have those headphones.

The Gear VR doesn't look so good on there. Hopefully it comes down to features and build quality.
At this point there is nothing better than gear vr for note 4. Glasses with integrated display dont use phone as source then they shouldnt be included here. All other except gear vr are not connected to phone, they glorified google carboard. Inclusion of nfc is not significant when comparing to gear vr because oculus app starts automatically when note 4 is inserted into gear vr and gear vr has dedicated touchpad and "back" button. BTW you can run all carboard apps while using gear vr but not vice versa. Gear vr experience is very smooth and headset has built-in gyro to assist head tracking.

I had the VWTech and used a Moga Pro to play some games just to see what it was like, in all fairness the effects were spectacular, obviously i've never used one of these things before but for a fraction of the price I thought it was a steal, having the ability to watch 3D movies using only your phone on what appears to be a massive screen is amazing for what £15 ??
Some of the games like Space Terror are terrifying when you've got some decent headphones on.
I can understand the need for a thread too as one thing I had a problem with was the comfort, if I was to watch a movie or something for a prolonged period of time it'd hurt your nose, some of the other ones listed in this thread appear to have better protection for your face.
Haven't tried the VR and in all fairness if I was going to spend £180 on a VR headset, it would be for the Oculus Rift and not the VR, AFAIK the gear VR does not allow the connection of 3rd party peripherals, like your PC for example, unlike the Oculus, but for £20 or less I think the cardboard examples are good value for money.
EDIT: Can I just ask if anyone has used these, which one actually utilizes the full screen size of the note 4?

I am thinking of buying one of these. But it will only pay up if I can use my phone in "VR-mode" continuously (in whole Android OS). For the moment I saw just few apps that allow me using the VR-glasses with some games and Video-players.
Is there somewhere an application (Xposed module or something flashable) that allows me doing that?
Theoretically it isnt that hard. You just have to rearrange the video output.

The EC720 looks like the successor to the EC309, which had some issues (like all of the watches), you can see the similarities.
Maybe the EC309 thread might have some useful info? It's was realised two years ago.
Need to be careful it's not the same watch, re-branded... as far as I can tell it's not.

Actually I think the black will be better in the long run for cases and possibly skins. Not sure what color skin I do with that blue.
I got mine for $300 too, blue was the only option though. My best buy didn't carry the other colors, unless I wanted to order, which would have taken like 3 weeks to arrive.

Let's talk about being cheap Lol. I cancelled my wife's phone, and then reordered it, because Amazon drop the price of the white one to $259.99 from $264.99 lol.. I took that extra $5 and bought some of those mirco usb to usb type c adapters so I wouldn't have to by all new cables.

Is the female side USB C and the male side is microUSB?
Other way around. Female side is microusb to make your charger you already have at home to become USB-C.

I'm super jealous that you have the 128GB with the 6GB RAM version... I really would like that but I don't think they are selling that here in the US... I wonder if I could get a SIM unlocked version and be able to use that over here. Oh well. I am just using the S8+ until the Note 8 comes out... At least that is what I am planning on.

Nice picture, so the LTE bands on the CHN / KOR are the same as the one for US & INT?
It's really tempting but since Samsung US doesn't have an upgrade plan like how TMO JoD does, I'll just wait to trade in my S8+ for the Note 8.

Sweet! I just got mine. The button doesn't seem to be working to take the photo/video.

Put it the pen in the phone... Go to SETTINGS >ADVANCED FEATURES >S-PEN> AIR ACTIONS... Then adjust the pen settings to your liking.
As I recall, your phone most surely only recognizes the bluetooth pairing with the original SPen it came with, there is an option to pair multiple S pens, look for it in settings, use multiple s pens, this of course, for Samsung original S pens...
I have a Samsung HM5100 sPen - might want to check out those. I just got my Note 10+ a couple days ago so I haven't played with the HM5100 sPen on it yet -- however I did pair it today. Tonight maybe I'll have time to tinker.

i purchased the red S Pen to use with my AT&T Note 10+ and it's working for me; it charges, it works with the swipe movements and i can use it taking pictures.
Red S_pen working here with no issues ... picked up on Amazon...
