Hi I am Rupesh from India and I have Lenovo a3000h tab. I have rooted the tab through iroot on PC.
When I launch root checker on my tab it is showing message as congratulations the device has root access.
Actually I want to flash cyagnomed ROM on my tab and downloaded cyagnomed ROM and stock ROM which are specific to my tab. I have a small doubt that if I flash custom ROM is there any chance of loosing imei and baseband on my tab.
I have flashed the cwm recovery using flashify app. By using cwm I have flashed superuser zip file.
At present I have installed superuser app, ROM manager, flashify, busybox, terminal emulator, cwm on my tab all of which are running properly except backup is not being performed.
In PC when I enter the command adb devices I am able to see a device with serial number but when I try to backup through adb my tab asks for confirmation and no backup is performed. In cwm when I select the backup option it displays message as making backup of boot and struck there for hours with no progress.
Someone suggested to backup atleast nvram and imei before flashing anything and so I have tried a number of ways but not succeded.
Kindly suggest how to take backup of my tab through system or in tab itself.
Regards,
Rupesh.

Here's the situation:
I have a Lenovo A8-50F table. After attempting to flash a new TWRP recovery rom on it after unlocking the bootloader, I ended up with a tablet that would constantly reboot. I am attempting to fix this issue with the SP Flash Tool but I have two issues:
I don't know if the MT file is the right file for this.
You are supposed to see a red bar pass when you hit download indicating it has finished the upload and it never comes.
I have done the volume up + voume down + down and all the other combinations and at most what it produces is a 2005 error.
I have the a58p rom in zip file that I downloaded from here.
I'd like to have some help, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be searching for.

Hi, I know to recovery you Lenovo A8-50F. It's yet actually?
Thanks.
I used KingRoot (ver 4.8.2) to root my Lenovo Tab2 A8-50F Tablet.
I used KingRoot as part of a SuperTool. The SuperTool, using a batchfile script, also removed KingRoot after the tablet was rooted and then installed SuperSU.
The SuperTool (April 6, 2016 version) was created by xda's RootJunky for the Amazon Fire 7 5th gen tablet, using KingRoot and SuperSU, but it rooted my Lenovo Tab2 A8-50F Tablet, uninstalled KingRoot and installed SuperSU, all with only a couple of mouse clicks.
Even if you are already rooted with KingRoot, you can use this tool to uninstall KingRoot and install SuperSU. (Just run the tool, let it re-install KingRoot, don't run KingRoot but hit Enter on the SuperTool to then uninstall KingRoot and install SuperSU).
Lenovo Tab2 A8-50F Tablet info:
Model Number: Lenovo TAB 2 A8-50F
Android version: 5.1
Kernel version: 3.10.65
Build number: A8-50F_S000037_151023_ROW
Software version: A8-50F_151023
Hardware version; LenovoPad A8-50F
The SuperTool batch file script rooted the tablet with KingRoot and then uninstalled KingRoot and installed SuperSu.
I have since installed ES File Manager, Titanium Backup, Link2sd on the tablet. Root is totally working. Rooted with only a couple of clicks!
Just enable Developer options on Lenovo Tab2 A8-50F (by tapping tablet Build Number 7 to 10 times [Settings, About Tablet, Build Number (tap 7 to 10 times)]), enable USB debugging on Tablet in the Developer options settings.
Connect Tablet to Windows 10 with a USB data cable (I used the USB 2.0 port). When screen message on the Tablet mentions connections, make sure it is in the MTP mode.
Extract RootJunky's SuperTool Zip file to the Windows 10 desktop.
Run RootJunky's SuperTool (Amazon-Fire-5th-gen.bat) You may have to read the instructions on the pages below and install adb drivers. Pick option #6 Root. Choose Option #3: version 5.1.2. This will run a script that installs KingRoot, allows you to run it manually, and then removes KingRoot and installs SuperSU.
Press enter and KingRoot will be installed on the Tablet from the SuperTool. (approve any messages that appear on Tablet screen) Now don't touch the PC SuperTool until the Tablet is rooted.
Open KingRoot on the Tablet and run it. You may have to run KingRoot several times and the Tablet may reboot. Just keep running KingRoot until the Tablet is rooted. After KingRoot reaches 100%, then press ENTER on the PC.
The SuperTool will now uninstall KingRoot and install SuperSU on the Tablet.
Choose NORMAL SuperSU install on the Tablet when prompted. When SuperSU is installed, reboot the Tablet. Disconnect data cable.
After reboot the Lenovo Tab2 A8-50F Tablet is rooted. There will be a request by SuperSU to upgrade. Approve it. You can now install Titanium Backup, Link2sd, ES File Manager, etc. Your Tablet is rooted. As easy as that. THANKS ROOTJUNKY!!!

hello guys.below is the easiest method to root your phone and install TWRP recovery.
Download
1) twrp recovery
2) usb drivers
from here - http://androidurdu.net/download-and-install-new-2-8-7-0-twrp-on-lenovo-k3-note-mt6752/
Now after downloading the above
download recovery lemon k3 note from https://userscloud.com/yexc173ibpv8.
download flash tool from https://userscloud.com/958tvsa17724.
download SuperSU v2.46 from https://userscloud.com/o8m7u398nmv5
Now let's begin with the exciting part
1. put SuperSU in your external sd card before flashing recovery.
2. now open flash tool .exe .
3. select MT6752 Android_scatter.txt from recovery lemon k3 note folder.
4. uncheck all options except recovery and select the twrp recovery image file.
5. in flash tool go to options->download-> chech the box with 'da dl all with checksum'.
remove the battery and connect the phone to pc. start download .wait for 5 seconds and put the battery without disconnecting the phone from the pc.
after the download is complete boot into recovery and install supersu.zip.
your phone is now rooted and you can try new roms!!!
p.s.- cm12.1 beta 1 for k3 note- call feature is not working.
Thanks, I have already rooted it.. Any way to unroot to get the latest OTA?
BTW what do you mean by call feature is Not working in last line?
Well you can unroot using SuperSU .it has got an option for permanent unroot. I am not sure about this method but u can try this.
By call.. I mean that cm12.1 has still got bugs and presently sim feature(ril) is not working.
Hi everyone,
I have some weird root on my Meizu Pro 5 with 5.1.6.0 G. Root permissions are ON in the Settings/Fingerprint and Security/Root Permission/ . I have a list of apps with Allow permission, including SuperSU, BusyBox, Root Explorer and Terminal Emulator. When I launch any of these apps for the first time I get a prompt for permission and I choose Allow.
However, Root checker does not recognize the root and Kingroot failed to root the device. When I boot device into fastboot to unlock the bootloader to install TWRP, I see “Fastboot [locked, rooted]” message. Whenever I try to use “su” command in the Terminal it returns access denied or something similar. SuperSU app fails to update the binary, although, ES Explorer has root access to explore files.
I tried to Reset to factory settings - same issue
Tried to Factory reset + Format internal storage and test root on clean device without even restoring from a backup - same issue
Tried to flash update.zip from File Explorer and from Recovery itself - firmware corrupt and does nothing.
Not sure when and what went wrong. I updated to 5.1.6.0G via terminal commands, hence I had su access with no problems.
Do you have any ideas? Now I just want to revert to the original state of the device and repeat the rooting from scratch, but unable to do so since any firmware I tried was "corrupt" and terminal does not let to use commands.
P.S. After "Factory reset + Format internal storage" in the very first boot of the device I noticed that Root access was already ON, even though I skipped the Flyme account login step. The phone is working fine - no bootloops, not bricked. Even Xposed is installed and working fine. The only issue is with the root, which appears to be incomplete.
Something similar happened to me.
Just update Flyme and check clear data. Then root it again.
Found the problem: if you are unrooted on the bootloader (check with [power] + [vol-])
And rooted within flymeos, you experience this problem.
I've got the same issue but I'm unable to instal another version of flymeOS (got corrupted firmware).
Does someone know how to fix ?

now I noticed you have PC, are you on stock rom?
can you backup your important data ?
do you have your mobile firmware on your pc ?(you can just download it from sammobile)
if you have all then you should install your firmware again via odin in order to make your phone clean( i don't advise you to do factory reset because superSU became a system app in your case )
after that you should install custom recovery like TWRP or other.... and it must be official, you can pick it from this form or from TWRP site, *tar or *md5 format, then install it via odin, this will be the first step in any phone rooting or other things.....
then download superSU (chainfire) *zip format to your SDcard or phone memory
then boot into recovery and take backup for most important thing (efs,boot,....)
after than install superSU .zip in recovery mode..then reboot to system
now open SU apk and let him remove Knox....
reboot again, and enjoy......
Best Regards
