I'm from Israel, a friend bought for me Galaxy s4 GT-I9500 from Samsung Direct in california. according to them the device is international and unlocked.
Yesterday my friend gave me the device, but the israeli sim isn't working on it. it asks for sim network unlock pin.
I tried all of the guieds of the service mode and a few apps, and even paid 25$ for the code to an unlocking site but they gave me a wrong code.
Can someone help me?

There is no unlock code for the L720! You got scammed. If you want to unlock the phone for use on other carriers look for the threads on here that explain how to do it.

If this device is not blacklisted nor dual sim, you can use a service such as Mod Edit
And if your device Dual sim, do not use any unlocking services, until you do not contact them and specify that your device is dual sim.

I bought galaxy A9 pro indian version from ebay, I asked the seller to ues indian sim to unlocked it , but I think him missed to do that, now I can't use the phone for calling, it ask me to enter network unlock pin, how can I solve this
