Hello, I am rather new here. I am trying to sim unlock m Galaxy S5 (sprint) that I bought on craigslist. I have the unlock code from Sprint and a Tmobile sim card but when I insert the tmobile sim it doesn't ask for the unlock code, instead just displaying "invalid sim". This is an unmodified phone, not rooted or anything, a stock SM-G900P. Thank you for your help.

Common scam from Sprint customer service... they gave you the SPC code for that device. it does not SIM unlock your device. To unlock your device, install the Sprint Samsung Unlocker APK. This will allow your unit to work overseas only, not in the USA. SSU.apk link?

Is there is a free method to sim unlock this (Go)phone (without paying for a code), or to get the code by myself ? (no luck on at&t unlock site, the phone is on the "6-month commitment)
