It seems a fake.
They wrote about XDA-DEVELOPER forum, but we are here and there is nothing.
I try to download the files, but it ask me money for the download.
fake,
Android 7 Nougat need a SoC compatible with Vulkan 1.0 API ... And the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 of the yotaphone is too old to have this support ... so ... Nougat probably never come on yotaphone 2 .... :'(

Nougat has been ported on various purportedly unsupported devices, Legacy OS is a good example of such endeavours. Even Sony released an extensively functional iteration of Nougat for Xperia Z3 series.
The issues are rather about Google and its policies about Android. An official release of Nougat needs the hardware to pass Android Compatibility Definition Document (CDD) and Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) and mandates hardware-backed full-disk encryption even at file level. Ignoring these prerequisites will definitely invite legal issues if not performance issues to begin with.
I think that A 7.0 isn't as needed as more optimized A 6.0.1 for example EPD screen and battery life as 4.4 and 5.0 have etc.
Nobody dares to test it?

Porting an unsupported OS requires extensive dev support, which is withering away owing to the unpopular status of the device and its age.

No, with every release of new Android version begins the proliferation of spam sites that claim to offer the latest version of the OS for virtually any device. These sites usually have the name of the OS in its address. They're nothing more than click-baits. If there was such a thing for Yotaphone, it would be either on 4PDA or XDA or any other reputed site.
It's a fake site, don't try!

Hi,
Lenovo Vibe X2 is having same specifications as you said. I think it is possible to port that rom in Infocus M530 but, before that I want to say that the lenovo X2's L update is having some serious bugs. Please check it. And one more thing, in order to port you need custom recovery. Did ported any custom recovery into your M530. If yes, please let me know. Because I tried lot times & failed to port CWM & as well as TWRP.
No update for our device yet?
No custom rom,No recovery..... Is infocus m530 support dead?

Nope. Since it is rooted you can directly write to the raw partitions for "flashing" a rom, thus no need for a recovery. But it is too dangerous. One tiny error would brick the device.

so better to buy a new phone than waiting for a os update...
I have a zopo zp999 (with a shattered screen so I'm back on ol' faithful - Galaxy Note 2 n7100)
The whole MT6595 I think suffered from being relatively closed source. Even though there was an ubuntu version of the mi3 I think and its source code released, other manufacturers didn't come to the party - like zopo.
Manufacturers are really their own worst enemy for slitting their own throats by being so restrictive with source.
It also might be partly associated with the MT6595 containing a PowerVR GPU.
Non-Mali (ARM) gpus tend to be more closed with their drivers too.
Whereas ARM have been releasing the drivers for their mali gpus for years now.
the MT6595 was the targeted at being a super-mid SoC. The top of its time. I think the last 32-bit CPU, and once the 64-bit MT697x cortex A57 & A53 based product well everyone lost interest really.
It's a good modem. They have a pretty good engineering mode - eg ability to choose LTE/HSPA frequencies.
beyond that... eh...

Could this have been posted with the unofficial CyanogenMod 14 or other Nougat roms?
ohhh yes i read many news that it is being tested for Nougat !!!!!! If LG actually did this... it is going to take the update support carpet from Google who dumped its old devices and will make my next phone be LG !
And Sprint's variant will still be stuck on Lollipop
I'm pretty sure that's BS and will come out as no... Im sure they can't update Nougat itself has dropped support for our chipset... Z3 had working betas for the Nougat but they had to stop Nougat to comply with Google and stopped supporting Z3

Xing my fingers!
guys, the SD801 in the G3 is not supported by Qualcom anymore and they refused to release a Vulcan graphic driver.
Becvause of this, no phones with this chipset will be allowed by Google to officially support Nougat.

allowed by google? or qualcomm ? I know it is qualcomm problem.
It is probably some unofficial android 7 based on cm...
Not really, the problem is the fact the phone must have vlukan support for android 7 certification, but Qualcomm / Google haven't make the necessary to run vulkan on older snapdragon, so no vulkan, no certification for android 7, so no official update unless LG remidy the problem
Guys is it possible for cm 14 official?
Fingers crossed ?
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA-Developers mobile app
CM14 is already being tested. So, yes, CM 14 official it's on his way
It says here that only devices with Snapdragon 800/801 will not be supported
http://www.androidauthority.com/android-7-0-snapdragon-800-801-712930/
However, there's another variant of LG G3 with a higher chip version (LG G3 Cat6 LTE) with Snapdragon 805 chip.
So no more official support from google? it doesnt matter anyways since devs will make ROMs based on Android 7 here. Sadly not all performance-related features will support it due to the chipset.
Still glad they are testing it out
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Labs
could be possible to be retail lg
http://www.xda-developers.com/android-7-0-compatibility-document-released-plenty-of-changes-in-tow/
you dont need vulcan api so qualcom dont need to release new drivers
Geekbench only saves bench from orginal rom no any custom :]
I hope LG will release this room soon

It's the old story of lack of kernel source. Historically kernel sources have been released about 3/4 months after global rom availability, which happened a few days ago.
It doesn't help that availability all round has been limited for these. With so many people wanting the global edition and there being shortages of that model there's just not that many of these around at the moment in the hands of people that want to mod it. MIUI is very popular in China.
I'm hoping another 3-6 months we'll start to see some serious progress.
Luckily it's in the same device tree as a few other recent releases so there's some level of cross compatibility, lithium (Mi Mix) for example would require only minor modification to work and there seems to be more dev interest in that,
I did consider making a cooked MIUI rom for the Mi Note 2 (inc. xposed, root, a few tweaks here and there) but there didn't seem to be much demand and realistically if you want those features you already get them yourself without any real struggle.
I'm an old dev for CyanogenMod on Xperia.
I will try to put Lineage OS when the source of the kernel will be available.
A port can be possible with the source of the One Plus 3t (i supposed) but is better to wait official release of the kernel.

These Lineage builds are by HondaJohn88 who I'm working with.
I've been bugging him to post them himself (when he does I'll get the old thread locked) but he hasn't yet.
Be aware that not every build he uploads is one that he's planning on sharing (or even an improvement over the last) - occasionally things break and some are more for archiving than actual use.
He shares his work in the Mi Note 2 Telegram group so I'd recommend joining so you can find out which build would be the most worthwhile.

Also I lost the IMEI (still have the number on a sticker) and so far failing miserably to restore it.

I been quite a while why there are no roms for mi a1 as google will update mi a1 to 8.0 when im old and about to die "why is there no rom development wilk this device ever have any roms".
Because there's no kernel sauce! Source!

Compiled firmware, not the source code, that's completely different things.
Kernel source still not shared by mi.
https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-not-released-kernel-sources-mi-a1/
I read it here. But why they dare to put "Android One" and advertise as it is? They want to test our patience and people to sue them for being "misleading"?

nobody stopped them withholding miui sources and kernel sources for other device trees. They have always stood on giants shoulders.
Wait for Google's project trebel to land with Oreo so that we can have lot more custom ROMs.
It's not guaranteed that we get project Treble implemented:
https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-project-treble-android-oreo/
Phones and tablets that ship with Android 8.0 Oreo are required to implement Project Treble, but devices running older versions of Android — including the OnePlus 5T, which runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat — are not.

The Android 8.0 release includes Project Treble, a major re-architect of the Android OS framework designed to make it easier, faster, and less costly for manufacturers to update devices to a new version of Android. Treble is for all new devices launching with Android 8.0 and beyond (the new architecture is already running on the Developer Preview for Pixel phones).Project Treble separates the vendor implementation (device-specific, lower-level software written by silicon manufacturers) from the Android OS framework via a new vendor interface.
In Android 7.x and earlier, no formal vendor interface exists so device makers must update large portions of the Android code to move a device to a newer version of Android.
But as far as I know project treble is only useful if they are using a custom UI like MIUI, Flyme or Touchwiz. Isn't it treble superfluous without a custom UI?

There are some little things, like Xiaomi's camera app. With treble Google could update the OS directly, and Xiaomi could update camera separately.
Am I right? It's more a question than an affirmation

I don't know. But I imagine Xiaomi could simply realease and update the camera app through the play store. Blackberry does this with it's core apps which can only be installed on blackberry devices.

True. Motorola used to do the same (I don't know if actually does). Maybe Treble it's not that important for us, Android One users.
While Treble is focused on official Android OEMs, Project Treble should also be revolutionary for aftermarket Android ROM projects
https://www.xda-developers.com/why-current-oneplus-nokia-phones-wont-be-project-treble-certified/
We have /system/vendor....
But on the other hand, we have dual partitions, so maybe they dare to repartition. The beta will be out soon, so we will see.
More details about project treble https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2017/09/android-8-0-oreo-thoroughly-reviewed/2/#h1
so, any update about this as Beta is released in Mi a1. Did anyone find anything?
I can't find the link anymore, but I've had people test it on Oreo firmware and it was confirmed not to have Treble.
Unfortunately we will not
Until we don't get 4.4.x kernel, we won't get project Trebel. I've never seen a SD625 phone running the 4.4.x kernel so we should blame Qualcomm instead of Xiaomi (tested on a Moto G5 Plus).
