I have this issue, but wouldn't really call it an issue. If I've stopped listening to music, I turn off music then take out earphones. For me its not a big deal personally
Hey guys, I have a problem that I haven't seen anyone else with.mi was listening to an Internet radio station on my Nexus 7 at normal volume and suddenly the volume went down to a level that you have to literally put the speaker up to your ear to hear. In the volume control it still reads 100% and I have even tried installing Speaker Boost but nothing changes. Does anyone know what this could be? The speakers are not blown out because you can clearly hear them. They are just too low to be usable. Also, if I have to return this, who do I contact? I only bought it a week ago in a store near me. In case this is important, I have the 32gb model with the 3G. Thank you in advance for your help.
Is it low on everything you've tried, such as mp3 files, movies, etc? It could be a problem with the app or radio station. You need to troubleshoot more and provide more details if possible.

this (does it apply to all apps?)
And since you bought it in a store nearby, just take it back, they should give you a new one.

I just got the 4.3 OTA upgrade and it fixed the low volume problem.
When playing music or listening to an audio books, I set the volume to full but after a minute or so it drops to about 75%. I've looked around without any luck.
Perhaps somebody can directed me to the right place to be a lock on the volume.
Thanks

Maybe that Adapt Sound thing is enabled and configuring your volume automatically. Did you check this? If it's enabled, disable it.
Settings>Sound>Adapt Sound
No luck with adapt sound
Sounds like something to do with the hearing damage warning.Try to find a way to reset it.Some countries have specific laws about it so your CSC may have something to do with it.
Good luck.
thanks, Fellas
The culprit was an app called VOLUME LOCK, which worked fine on an Note 1 but was either installed incorrectly or doesn't work properly on an N3. It's gone and I have no more troubles with the volume on my device.
Thanks again for your input.
I have an exact same problem with this guy, he is using moto g so i think the problem is from cm12/blisspop source or whatever its called .. as an audio guy its realy annoying to hear music in reversed stereo :silly: any help plss??

So, yesterday, while I was listening to music in Poweramp I figured out that there's something wrong with my audio. I tried to go to options and see what happens when I switch it to the left channel. And as I expected, Sound went to the right channel. I did a stereo test with "Stereo Test" app and result is the same. When I came back from CM12.1 to stock Lollipop, the issue didn't exist, but after installing the newest build the problem started again. I was looking for an app that may help me with it, but no luck. :crying: Do you guys have any suggestions?

Hi, I recently discovered that my K20 speaker is heating up (back portion around the speaker) when listening to music at max volume. It is not overheating or something like that, but a bit warm then the rest of the device.
Is that normal? Please test and let me know!
Btw the speaker is good!

i had this problem with every sound, notifies etc, deactivating spotify equalizer solved the issue.
so if your speaker starts sound as "boxed" and you hear a "starting hiss", it's spotify equalizer, even out of spotify (probably spotify equalizer uses some android driver to equalize, so it has effect on non spotify apps too)

U re welcome I think it's a stranger bug, the equaliser should be on for Bluetooth devices or headphones, not for the phone speaker, but I hope it will be solved in the next update

This is normal, as there is a microchip right under the speaker that heats up and the metal frame of the speaker dissipates the heat. So it looks like the speaker is heating up.
Hello, maybe the message is not understood because I do not speak English and I had to translate the text, I am sorry. I have a problem similar to such a degree that the horn began to have a burning smell, I currently send it to guarantee with amazon , any answer I have, I will be warning you, it is probably due to a hardware problem, or something different your mobile
P.S. I don't use spotify.
I had the same problem with Deezer app, disabling the equalizer solved the problem, probably the problem might be present using any equalizer apps , thanks for the tip
