button locked after power button pressed..help plz

my xda2 power button was locked after i press it go to turn off device but the gsm is still runing and if an incoming phone or sms the device go wake again and the xda goes to normal again, but if device is turning off by power management, i can wake it up with any button, but only when i'm turning it off by power button the device buttons is locked, somebody know what problem in mine please help!!!!!!

also if you softreset it ?
and do the button work for turning the device off
if thats the case then i would say that the button is broken

please help...phone has no bootloader mode!!

i just bought a MDA off of my bigsister!! back sticker says WIZA200...probably meaning wizard! ipl/spl describes a g4...tried holding camera and stylus-reset...also, camera, power and stylus-reset!! NO LUCK THOUGH!!PLEASE HELP!!

BETTER STATED ISSUE:
My MDA wont go into the tricolor screen. When it tries to do it, it just turns off. I then have to pull out the battery and put it back in for it to work again. How can I fix this? I want to try a different ROM. Thanks in advance.

Power off the phone completely,then press and keep holding down the camera button and at the same time Power On the phone,you have to keep pressing and holding down the camera button while Power on the phone,release it after it wakes up,hope this'll do the trick.

My HTC One M8 screen is dead?

I came home, I look at my phone, the screen turned off. I click "Power" to turn it on, don't respond. Hard Reset didn't help.
Vibration function works, touch probably also buttons too, but screen didn't.
A couple of weeks ago I was changed the battery in service.
The screen dead?

My phone had switched off yesterday night. I woke up on horror to find that the battery is totally drained and my power button had stopped working for a long time.
I followed these steps (I am not sure if it would work in your case, but it did in mine)
P.S. I had installed power button to volume button a long time ago in my phone, not sure if this is due to that app, but I removed the app within a day.
Plug the phone via USB to laptop
Hold the volume up button for a few seconds
Leave the volume up button.
After doing this, magically enough, my phone restarted!

i am using xiaomi redmi note 7 and my power button is not working fine. Whenever i kind of touch it , it starts working randomly. it turn my phone off or it brings camera.
now i want to disable it temporarily to use the phone atleast.

I use havoc os.
I saw the option only on custom roms.

With root u can look her and change
system/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl
On my old phone I changed the volume up and down buttons there for my headset.

No, if you deactivate the button it'll stop working, you can try to Power It up with Double tap to wake, but i really suggest a new Power button for your phone.

if the system file r misbehaving... factory reset wont solve that?

You should first figure out whether the issue is caused by the hardware or your ROM. If it is the power button itself, then there's an app named Scalefusion that can be used to diable the power button.

Can remap the button for volume down button and use it as a permanent power button.

Similar issue for me a hairline crack in power button so phone keeps restarting/unlocking screen and calling emergency services.
How would I change to another button to permanently be my power button? Also the directory above do I get that on phone settings somewhere or connect to pc and find it that way?
