Well..i have used that software to deknox..deodex and zip aligned .well the samsung logo keeps on loading and loading for an hour still it doesnt boot.
Oh ok. Maybe it's not compatible then. I've only used it for A310 and works fine.
Did you factory reset before flash?
If you're on linux you can try super kitchen. I've never tried it though.

Well could you explain me the exact process to deodex and to dknox? I AM USING A500H 6.0.1 CPH2 latest firmware.thanks again.btw.I also tried other ways to.and I'm on windows
It looks like a few A500x roms are done with assayyed so it should probably work.
If you're building from stock tar.md5 you can just put the whole fw in there.
The partitions we want from it is system, cache, boot, and sometimes hidden if it's present. The kitchen will extract it for you and include the files to system.
Now, just do the changes you want and before you build rom zip just make sure you only have boot.img, system and meta/aroma-folders in your working space.
If you used auto debloat option, try do it manually instead and only remove apk's that you know what it is.
If you added build.prop tweaks, try without them.
Try find a way that gives you a flashable zip without bootloop.
If it won't work hopefully someone with A500 can give you more help.

Hey there after a whole week of testing, reflashing, bricking, rebooting I decided to share with you my debloat version of Galaxy S4 Mini I9195 ( might work on all versions of galaxy mini, not sure. )
For those who want to keep stock os for some reasons, I made this post hoping I can spare people some great time.
Summary: most stock apps gone, no kies, no ota update ( if you root your phone you wont't get any anyway ) and so on. Removed main apps as I have replacements from the play store. Also removed everything search related including voice which never worked well for me. I use swype keyboard to dictate and that's all.
I attached the updater-script contents, as you may modify and keep whatever you want. I tested this script on my device and everything works fine.
Just flash it via cw recovery and if it's the first debloat I recommend wiping /data and /cache.
If you want to skip a file deletion, open the zip with any archiver, and edit the file META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script and delete the lines regarding the app/folder/lib you want to keep.
How to Unbrick
How did you unbrick your phone pls?
I had the CM and i want to come back to stock.
I have tried flashing a stock debranded DBT rom.
I had boot loop. The Samsung loge freezes.
I have tried flashing all stock roms.
No chance. I can see onlay Samsung logo...
I had this issue, wiped /data and /cache after flashing my csc ROM and worked.
Worked like charm. Serious debloating.
I flashed cwm, booted to cwm flashed the script and was done. I wiped dalvik just in case. Now seems to work fine. Didn't have to root for it.
So basically stock rom and kernel + no more crappy apps. :good:
Thank you for your work!!! Awesome!!
You're welcome like I said I spent a whole week removing/puting back until I found what CAN be removed and what CANNOT be removed safely.
When I feel like reverting to stock rom I flash stock and immediatly after odin's reboot I flash custom recovery and run the zip so I can have my /data intact.
@btnetro can I check with you if you needed to flash back your nandroid backup for reverting to stock rom?
I'm sorry I don't understand the question
What were the steps you took to revert back to stock ROM?
odin flash with appropiate csc firmware ( my case dbt ) not a very hard thing
Did you have to restore your initial CWM backup?
I never made backups since this is not my primary device and it's still in testing sort of speak.
however since this are different roms I don't think you can revert to stock rom with cyanogen /data ...
This sounds great, but if I have rooted and frozen bits of bloat can I do this over the top and expect it to work?
TIA

I'm intrested in using this script but for example Im using voice can I install some apps that you deleted back ?
and how many spce did you saved after debloating ?
instead of reinstalling you can edit the file I wrote on the 1st thread and delete the lines that match the apps you want to keep
if i install the full debloat and then i add only the apps i want, what happens with updates ?
am i going to be able to get them and if yes will all the samsung apps be re-installed ?

This is not a rom. Its a script that automaticly uninstalls all the samung bloatware apps like Samsung hub, sam connect, bookstore etc.
But to awnser your question, it would save battery a bit more since the bloatware won't be running in the sys backround any longer
Beware that debloating does not remove any bloatware system shortcuts such as some of the AllShare connectivities tabs as its implented into the samsung firmwares interface.

Alright, i'm very new to the concept of ROMS and Flashing and etc, so if I could, I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could help me get a better understanding on all of this.
I just recently got my S5 Rooted and I slapped Plasma ROM onto it because that was what I first saw, it was unbloated and had a nice looking theme. Now dont get me wrong I do like it but I wanna be able to try others such a cyanogen, Paranoid, etc.
Now my main issue is i'm someone who jumps right in and I WILL make mistakes and learn from them, like right now I tried to install Cyanogen but I can't get touchwiz recovery on my phone, nor Safestrap to even possibly restore what I did while i had Plasma, so yeah, as you can see here, I clearly need some help and would greately appreciate it if someone could help me out and put me on the right path on the entire ROM and Flashing, etc and make sure i'm not gonna put myself through alot of frustration over something that i'm sure is fairly simple.

Flashfire works great with the S5.
If your phone is messed up after all you tried to flash, it might be best to odin a full wipe NGC tar file and reroot. Start from scratch. Otherwise you should flash the tar that doesn't do a full wipe. Scroll way down to the notes on this post (down to #4).

So I finally have the time to flash this, so I essentially get the .zip file of the ROM i want to flash, use Flashfire to flash it, and it will essentially wipe my phone, add the new ROM on, and i'll n eed to re-download my selected apps and re-do my settings. etc, right?

Tar files are flashed via odin. Unzip the zip to get to the .Tar file
But it'll do the 2nd part, flashfire to flash it, itll wipe my phone and etc?

Following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447534 you'll find an app called Dual Boot Patcher.
With this app you can patch ROMs for dual booting. No need for special recovery, no need for kernel with kexec patch. You can even flash the ROMs from within the app. Only thing thats missing for now is backup and recovery, but according to the dev it will be implemented.
How To:
1. Download the app here https://snapshots.noobdev.io/ and install.
2. In the app go to ROMs. There you'll find your current ROM. press the three dots and choose "Set Kernel". Now you're ready for patching and flashing you first ROM.
3. Choose "Patch zip-file" from the main menu. There you choose which slot. On OnePlus One you have to choose Data (rom gets installed on data partition) as our system partition is to small to support multiple roms. After the Rom you can patch gapps and other files to flash (supersu, v4a, etc) the patched files end with data-slot-xx.zip e.g. cm13.zip -> cm13data-slot-01.zip
4. now you can flash the patched files either in recovery or directly in the app.
Coming from the LG G2 which had no MultiROM I'm using this app for a long time with no problem. Right now i have 3 Roms on my phone. Primary is AOSParadox 5.1.1, data slots are Sultans cm12.1 and Omni 6.0
That's very cool, thank you for sharing I will be trying it
Tried the app in s4, quite useful one also having support for app sharing... I thought it never supports one plus one... Well try..

Thanks for sharing mate. BTW, is there any possibility of a hard-brick? Since i barely get any free time from my job and opo is my primary & only device, i really can't go through all the hassle of recovering from a hard brick.
Gave it a try. Didn't work on patching zip. Threw an error code - 15

Honestly I don't know. I've used it a lot on my G2 and my OPO. Never bricked anything. If it happens that the patched ROM does not boot just boot into recovery and flash the boot.img of your primary ROM. You can find the boot.img at data\multiboot\primary.

i don't believe u will hard brick due to its flashed to the system or data, so all u have to do is make a nandroid backup 1st, and if things go wrong, like above just flash ur boot image or just restore ur nandroid.
Same here. Got an error code 15 while trying to patch
Also, does it matter what data slot ID you enter?
@ tropenfrucht This is very helpful feature and I have been using it for over a month and the best part is easy to use keep up the good work.
Great mate
Do i have uninstall multirom first or may I have both systems?

INTRODUCE
HI XDA folks and Z5 owners , yesterday I tried to change a bit on my framework-res which causes bootloop to my device [emoji14] .. But I got a new idea to fix my phone.. Of course, so much faster than restoring a backup
Move to: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p2/development/stock-rom-nougat-7-0-t3590122
Deodexed mean everything reunified and put back inside apk and jar file.
Compare 1400mb stock rom, this rom only 800mb very small foot print, Deodexed_P2a42_S62_170117_ROW rom will take much less space in system file, result is reduce system file till 63℅ free space.
Features:
remove some bloadware,
added lenovo gallery,
added latest/update gapps,
added dolby atmos,
added root,
added xposed,
Always do backup rom first.
Flashing only with latest twrp-3.1.0-0, or above to avoid encryption problem and loosing data later, see in my another thread, https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p2/development/unofficial-twrp-3-0-2-0-p2a42-t3573308
Before flashing to wipe dalvik cache, system, data and cache,
change data system to ext4,
now install rom from zip file
Reboot to system, don't do anything just wait around 7-10 minute till appear.
Done!!!
See the different system running more faster, smooth, better benchmark result.
Bugs!!!!!!!! nothing, everything working as normal,
if any, only came from original firmware stock rom

Yes, if your rom came from stock rom, when finish flash restored from this backup rom just flash dalvic cache and cache you data will not go but it will take time around 10-15 minute to wait after reboot just be passion to wait
Sure I extracted the zip file, I have the folder containing the system, data etc. It's just not visible in the menu, I don't know why.

Working path in twrp 3.0.3 is /external_sd/TWRP/BECKUPS/folder Deodexed stock rom P2a42_S062_170117_ROW or /external_sd/TWRP/BECKUPS/any name folder/folder Deodexed stock rom P2a42_S062_170117_ROW
could it be ( i know this is a long shot ) because its a backup of another users phone that TWRP cant find it ?
Maybe it can only find backups that were created on your own phone
Ok finally sorted it out! it was indeed a path problem. I made a small backup of EFS to see where it will be saved. The directory was /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/YOURPHONESERIALNUMBER/.
My serial was like this ZY2XXXXXXX. 10 digits. Initially I was placing the backup just in /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS.
I see you disabled the theme center, also can you do something with the icons as they look like from 90'.

Now I'll test the battery life on S062 compared to my stock S056. Do you have any issues with the battery, lasting less? Did you noticed they removed the fast charging, the phone is charging hell slow right now? It's good for the battery's health, because this insane fast charging will kill the battery internals noticeably faster.
