Hey Guys,
Please help me. today i installed lineage os 12.1 in my zuk z1. after istallation finger print scanner was not showing in the setting menu. and cannot select sim or the calls. I did factory reset from the setting - factory reset, then it ends in the TWRP RECOVERY home menu.
I tried all the possibilities, like Wipe the cashe, dalvik cache, data, system, then install lineage os.
but after everything reboot ends in the TWRP Recovery home.
when i install gapps arm nano. showing an error.
Please help me to get out from this.
In TWRP mode: Go to advance, then go to Terminal and write down these codes one-by-one.
1. Code (Text):
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota
Now press enter, and write down another code.
2. Code (Text):
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc
Press enter again!
Then go to main menu, go to Reboot and hit System.
For fingerprint scanner and Dual sim call, it's a major bug in Lineage OS 14.1, so I changed to Resurrection Remix 5.8.2 where both the problems are not there. You can use OpenGapps Android ARM 7.1 Stock version with that smoothly.

I have since today zuk z1, installing "CM13 Coldbird" and entered correctly after performing all the steps, but connect wifi and get ip enters loop mode and does not come out of there, back at the beginning, initial settings and jump around and just 30 seconds later it happens again.
Buy two units and is installed well and gave me problems but restauré factory and it is correct but can not find this solution.

To enter recovery when experiencing such problems, you can hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn off / reboot device. After reboot, press and hold the volume up and down button at the same time until you see TWRP screen (2-5 seconds).
Then in TWRP screen, you can wipe system, cache, etc and perform another clean flash.
I experienced such behavior while using build 4/16 before. I recommend installing gapps micro package for such build to avoid reboots. Also, you can try and follow the following steps while installing CM13 build 4/16:
1. Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, data system.
2. Install mm tools
3. Install CM build 4/16
4. Reboot to system. Wait until stabilized (2-5 mins after you see the homescreen)
5. Reboot to TWRP
6. Make full Nandroid backup (just in case) - optional
7. Install gapps micro (if this won't work, try installing gapps Pico or the full gapps suite.
8. Reboot system
Hey, sorry for the ignorance!
I flashed this ZUI (Nougat) rom on top of CM 13 data, phone did boot with old apps. When i pressed factory reset from settings menu the phone went to recovery and since then its only booting into recovery and not into system! everytime i get into TWRP system is not checked. even after mounting system and flashing stock zip. The phone isn't booting into system but recovery only. Tried flashing system.img by Fastboot.
Solved by using QFIl
Flash stock recovery, then boot into recovery.
It will automatically do factory reset, after that your system partition will boot.
Then flash TWRP again.
And do remember, not use Factory reset option from OS while on custom recovery.
Had the same issue, went to fastboot and then flashed through adb. Worked as a charm.

How to switch off the phone stuck in zUK logo with no recovery installed. I tried long pressing the home button but it reboots to zuk logo ,is there any way to switch off the phone
This will fix it without losing any data. (NO FACTORY RESET NEEDED)
Go to TWRP recovery terminal commands, and enter the following:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota
PRESS ENTER
THEN TYPE
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc
THEN PRESS ENTER
REBOOT
This should boot up your phone without any changes.

try wiping cache and reboot
Reboot to recovery, format data.
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install TWRP on a fresh LG G6. I before updated the G6 to the latest available version.
So its currently running Android 8.0.0
Build Number OPR1.170623.032
Software version V20a-EUR-XX
I already unlocked the bootloader. Then I bootet into fastboot and tried to install twrp-3.2.1-0-h870. But after rebooting it with Volume Down + Power Key and reseting the device. I only see the TWRP splash screen after that the phone is booting the normal way up (and is reverting the bootloader).
I then installed (also via fastboot) twrp-3.1.1-0-h870. With this version I'm able to get into TWRP but this version is asking me for the password of the partition to decrypt. I didn't set up any encryption. So i tried "0000" --> no success. I also bootet andoird normaly and then setup a display lock screen with Pin 0000. But this code TWRP also refuses to use.
So I'm a little bit stranded here because I don't know what to do next.
Does anyone have a idea?
Greeting Uwe
You need to skip the password stage then format all. Type yes then it will work fine.
When it asks for password you can skip this stage
If I do so. I get
Formatting Data using make_ext4fs...
YOu may need to reboot recovery to be able tu usw /tada again.
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/system' (Device or resource busy)
... done

Click to collapse
Then I hit reboot and the device is rebooting into Android and starting the first startassistant (so the format finally deleted something )
Then I power off the system and reboot with "Volume Down + Power" and I again only end in Factory reset data dialog
Ok next try same procedure than above. But not reboot into system instead only reboot into recovery --> pushing lineageos and the other zips onto the /sdcard/.
Wiping system, data, cache.
Flashing twrp via twrp, flashing lineageos, flashing gapps, flashing lineageos su package.
Reboot
And I'm greeted by Lineageos. Thanks for your support.
I was trying to install resurrection remix os but when i installed it said me please type password to continue.I tried 5-6 times then i got the true password. Then it said your password is true but your data is corrupted try to wipe it.I press the wipe button and direct me to the TWRP.When I tried to wipe my data, cache, dalvik cache it said me cannot mount data.So what can I do about this problem?
Try reflashing the recovery to the phone, then rebooting inmediately after to the recovery. You shouldn't need to enter a password, and you can do the wipe.
