Can't go into recovery mode. - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

When I try to boot to recovery mode, I get right to an installing update page, and then gets an error that there was an error in the update with only an option to reboot the system.
My P9 lite is unrooted and is curerntly on 7.0.

The error says:
"Software install failed!
The update package does not exist. Please download the package again."

[Q] Froyo ClockworkMod Recovery Problems

I've been trying to follow the steps in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=949497
but I'm having trouble in step 3, getting ClockworkMod Recovery working. I'm on EA28, I'm successfully rooted, and I've flashed the cwm_froyo.tar via odin and put the update.zip in the root of my sdcard. But when I try to reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery, via the "Backup Current ROM" option in ROM Manager, the stock recovery loads and I get an error saying:
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verifcation failed
installation aborted
In the blue text of the stock recovery, I have the option to install sdcard:update.zip, but if I try that I get the exact same error.
Any ideas?

EDIT: I don't know what I was doing wrong, but I just went back to an older CWM, which worked fine, then I was able to run the new one from there. This thread can be pulled.

Footer is wrong, signature verification failed

Hello,
I made a mistake and flash a bad kernell to my Note 3. After that it boots only to a black screen and after that it reboot to system recovery. Reboot to bootlader doesn"t work.
When I tried to load new official rom using ADB or "update from external storage", it says "Footer is wrong, signature verification failed".
Its Android 5.0 (see screenshot) and the "bad" kernel is N9005XXUEND3. I cant connect ODIN or KIES. Is there any way to repair it? Thanks for any help.
You cannot update from Storage its the wrong format .
Samsung updates KIES or ODIN .
But It's not possible to connect ODIN or Kies and update from external storage is in the menu of my recovery. There is also "update using ADB". But there is a same problem with footer and verification....
Take it to a repair shop .

failed Odin flash.. Now can't go into DOwnload mode

so my Galaxy Grand prime was stuck at boot Logo. I tried to flash it using Odin with a Firmware from Sammobile and it failed in the process.
Now I can't go into download mode. The error reads:
" AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED WHILE UPDATING THE SOFTWARE. USE THE EMERGENCY RECOVERY FUNCTION IN THE SMART SWITCH PC SOFTWARE"
I downloaded Kies and it says:
" THE CONNECTED DEVICE IS NOT SUPPORTED BY KIES. IF AN ERROR Has OCCURRED WHILE UPDATING THE FIRMWARE USE THE FIRMWARE EMERGENCY RECOVERY MODE"
so when I tried firmware emergency recovery mode it asks for model and S/N number. which keis rejects by saying it is not correct. Also, the device does not show up in the space where devices which need software update appears.
Any ideas ?:crying:

E:signature verification failed

Hello
I rooted my TAB 2 P5100 with "CF-Auto-Root-espresso10rf-espresso10rfxx-gtp5100.tar.md5" through Odin 3.0.7.
It all finished OK and As i Check through Root Checked it says that my device is Rooted and it still has the latest original Android version 4.2.2
As I go to install any possible ROM I can find through SDCARD I recieve the error displayed in the title.
E:signature verification failed
I read a bit around and I wast to add that I do not have the option to toggle off verification mode.

NVM, it was easier than what i thought.
Download TWRP.zip and place it on the SD card
install TWRP fropm Google APP
Open it and tell it to install the TWRP.zip into recovery.
shut down and start to recovery - which starts to TWRP
after that is very easy.
