Is your phone rooted? If your phone is rooted, just use any file manager program and delete the app called Amazon Offers. You can also freeze the app if you don't want to delete it.

what apps ? is there no alternatives ?
should be but you will need root and some build.prop editing maybe FwSpoof
Safety Care. I have not yet found an alternative, but if you know one I would appreciate it if you would share it with me.
Root is not an option on this device.
hmm

It's for the HTC One X. I'm not sure how easy it is to root it and if you keep the warranty/don't lose data.
I just took a quick peek and didn't see anything.
since many rooted roms having this feature that clone apps s7 edge have this feature or not?

It's not a native feature. I personally use App Cloner.

But i think app cloner need root access

Assuming you're on SM-G935F, it's completely safe and easy. I used CF-Autoroot

It doesn't require root and surprisingly it works quite well. I would expect such an app to be a hit&miss but I'm loving the app so far.
noxapp+ is also a good one. You should try it
Hello everyone just got the new g4 play phone. Seems nice so far. Just wondering about root and firmware? Do any of the file factory images work? Also is root working? Thanks in advance!

Depends on how you purchased it. If it's from Amazon with ads enabled, you're out of luck for the time being until one of the temp root methods find an exploit for the phone.
If you bought the normal version, then a TWRP version that works for your phone is in the works, and SuperSU works on pretty much any device with a custom bootloader because it's just sticking a su binary on the system partition and installing an app. Custom roms will be forthcoming when more of the developing-inclined members get their bootloaders unlocked lol

Oh cool mine is the normal version! I also noticed the unlock setting in settings as well. So at this point twrp is a no go?

That's excellent news! I'm very close to talking moto into giving me a bootloader unlock despite having the Amazon ads. I basically complained that they are misleading people with the name "play" and advertising a pure Android experience making it seem like a true play edition phone, so knowing that I'll be able to root without compiling my own TWRP myself is great news.

Yes I followed squids twrp post and the twrp fix and works great. Now I may play with the filefactory images and see if one works with this variant. I'm sure a bell specific variant will come soon.
Hi, I have the Amazon variant of the Moto g5 plus. Recently I've been trying to root my device and i've kept getting an error when I try to run the first command. Can someone please help because I would really love to root my device.
As far as ik you can't do that.
This has been discussed a lot here, please search or browse first before starting another thread on it. That said, only the 'Standard Version - Without Offers or Ads' Amazon models can have the bootloader unlocked, so either forget root or return yours for a standard model.
Please let me know if you find a way!
Could you please let me know if you find a way around. Thank you!

ONCE AGAIN!! Because Amazon has a deal with Motorola... Motorola will not give you the code to unlock the bootloader on an Amazon Prime phone. No unlocked bootloader, no root. Period.
Can we flash official images to get updates faster? I am in Antarctica, so our carrier doesn't push through updates.

I have been using the V35-Amazon version for over 2 years and it still works great. If I remember (it has been a while) most of the Amazon stuff can be uninstalled. What can't can be disabled in settings. I personally use the Amazon store, Kindle and App store so I didn't remove these. I never see or hear from Alexa.
If you just don't want to see all those Amazon apps try what I did first. It is much easier, safer and quicker.
