Since June, I've been using a non-LG phone, but prior to that, I used the V10. Prior to making these changes to the WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini file, my phone was useless from the moment I stepped into my house. Once I changed BandCapability from the default of 0 (threshold=-60dBm) to the manufacturer-recommended value of 7 (-81dBm), Life was Good. I never saw a weak signal on even the 5GHz radio, and had no further "WiFi Calling" issues.
Now I'm back in the saddle with the G6. And am missing calls, dropping calls, and, generally, am wishing I would have stocked with the S6 Edge+. I see a weak signal again, am experiencing the same problems as before with the V10, and, sure enough, WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini is still to blame.

I am not opposed to rooting, once we have a way to do so and to unroot, of course. However, I prefer not to do so. Maybe I'm getting old. Does anybody know if there is a way to resolve this without having to root my phone?

Hi Guys,
I'm on AT&T and love my new phone, but have run into several issues with data. I'm seeing that I have service (4 or 5 bars) and that it's LTE. However, when I try to load a webpage/google search etc. nothing works when I'm on LTE - it shows that a data transfer is attempting to happen but I never load a page or anything.
My battery stats page also seems to show no service except at a few key times. I've tried turning on airplane mode and then turning it off again and I've tried restarting my phone. Nothing seems to work.

Does this sound like a cooked S5?
Thanks!
So I've had this phone now for probably 3 months or so, but ever since I got it I've had some issues with the battery life in general, but it has only gotten worse by time and it's driving me crazy. Right now I'm barely even able to go through a day of using the phone without having to bring a charger with me and re-fill the battery, even with only 2-3 hours of on-screen time at most (no games either, just social media like facebook and snapchat etc.).
I've tried many steps to try to fix the issues, at first I tried to restore my phone using Samsung Smart Switch and that did not help resolving the issue. I've also tried to disable apps using Package Disabler Pro and I've also disabled GPS and NFC, but that didn't help at all. Knox isn't tripped.
Is there anything more I can do, or shall I just get it sent back for repairs?
Here's some screenshots showing off the issue:

To be fair, if you're in Marshmallow that's pretty good...
For the most part I've always used the newest radio with the 6p, but now I'm having issues and wandering if it's the new radio. I can't remember if it started with the new radio or not, but what's been everyone's experience with radios on ATT? I get msgs stuck sending, calls not going through and other random issues. Intermittent ATT issues or the new radio?
Ive had better low signal reception on the radio from 7.0. It doesnt hurt to try if you are having problems. I dont know how far back you can go though.
I'm using an old one. My data connection was going away when i left my house and would only come back with a reboot. Saw others having this problem on an old post and tried to flash and it has been 3 weeks with no issues since.

Hi. I'm on the B03 build of Oreo non rooted. Had to manually find the download as bought phone from Italy and imported to UK.
Really like Oreo but since getting it, my battery has been cutting out at around 50% sometimes lower. There is something in the battery life that is hogging it but it doesn't say what, just the android symbol at 86%.
Would a new battery fix this or is it time for a new phone? I've only had this 2 years and most phones I've got 4 years out of. Love the hardware but it's been a bugger for lack of support and no OTA updates.

Just acquired an SM-G903F and it is really in mint condition.
However, neither WiFi/WLAN nor Bluetooth works. It was advertised as spotty but I cannot make it work at all. Worse, even mobile data seems defunct.

It is turning on forever... but never succeeds
Everything else works nicely: phone calls and SMS are just fine. Flashing TWRP and LOS worked, flashing back with ODIN to Stock ROM also worked but wifi. Samsung's SmartSwitch also tells all is good.
It was on
MMB29K.G903FXXU1BQC1
and by now
MMB92K.G903FXXU2BRH2
I suspect a software problem but who knows - quite frankly, this is beyond my capabilities.
Can anyone help me or give pointers?
