Does indian variant (xt1686) of moto g5 plus has cat 6 like its USA variant (xt1687)?
LTE antenna is embedded in SoC. All models of G5+ have Snapdragon 625 hence all have the same radio.

Moto X Pure for Sprint. It does not seem to utilize the Sprint LTE Plus speed. I only get normal LTE speed which is not doubled compared to the new LTE plus phones for Sprint. Any suggestions?
My thought is you will need a new phone moto z looks nice....
But seriously sprint LTE plus is band 2.5 1.9 GHz and 800mhz in a mimo style connection if the radio is not specifically compatible for that type of connection then you need new hardware...

The Moto X Pure has the correct hardware for Sprint's "LTE Plus", Spark, or Advanced LTE uses carrier aggregation of 3 different LTE bands (25, 26, and 41), but the software implementation is not there.
There is quite a bit talk about the MXPE and Sprint's LTE Plus in this Reddit thread.
How to check if LTE Carrier Aggregation is enabled or not on Moto G4 Plus. Is there a option to enable the same
If you are rooted, you could use Cellmapper app to verify - it has an option to read directly the frequency of the qualcomm modem.
The CPU specs sheet for qualcomm Snapdragon 617 says that supports 2x20 MHz carrier aggregation DL and UL for 300/100Mbps speeds (LTE Cat 7).
But, first of all, your carrier needs to have CA enabled.
If not rooted - your speedtests results are over 100Mbps (DL), that can happen only with CA.
So I know there will be an Exynos and a Snapdragon version. Exynos for EMEA and Snapdragon for North America
Are there any regional variants of the S8 ?
I'll prefer to buy the dual SIM unlocked version with Exynos
Something that works in Europe, US and India.
What do you think would be the best version ?
Both phones are also going to have a special "Microsoft" edition. Don't know the soc though.

Moto G5 plus can also support VOLTE, they just have to roll out the update to add support BUT we all know how Moto treats their customers when it comes to updates
I was told that the US model S10 plus will not come out with a 5G modem until the end of the year what about the international version? Thanks in advance...
