Android on HD2

hi is there is any SIMPLE way to port Android on HD2 that is for non developers or programers, well why because i want to do it but i suck at this if theres any thread or guide will be very welcome thanks....

what you could try is:
copy a HTC desire ROM to your HD2 and see what happens when you boot it..

Just download the android.cab and you're good to go!

To the OP, no, there is not a direct port of Android in any flavor for the HD2, or any other WinMo based phone for that matter. Yet. This doesn't mean it won't be possible, amazing things have happened here on XDA since I joined in 2007. There are options though, keep watching this thread as there are currently 6 known working HTC WinMo devices that can run Android via a WinMo app called haret.

I think there's more than 6 winmo devices that can run android through haret. But otherwise, you're completely right.
I don't think a lot of the people on these forums asking for android on HD2 understand the fact that there has been no perfect android port for any winmo devices, yet. I've noticed there's a lot of new winmo users on these hd2 forums who think that a port should come soon and they will be able to install/flash it and have a perfectly working android phone. I've even heard people say they bought the hd2 anticipating an android port.
It doesn't work like that. It never has. These ports take time. They are very buggy at first, and even when they iron out the bugs, it is still not fully functional. It will probably be years before we have a port that can use bluetooth, wifi, camera, sensors, etc.
If you want to use android full-time as your main phone os, get an android phone. It's great when we can boot into android when you want and use some android apps, but it's going to be a very long time before its functional enough to want to use full-time. If you want to have a hd2 and make full use of its features, your gonna have to use winmo. A bootable android will be a great feature and fun thing to play with, but thats all its going to be good for for a long time.... something to play with. I dont think theres been a fully functional port to a winmo phone, yet.
So to the people waiting for android on your hd2... be patient, and dont expect a fully working version anytime soon.

Alright, guys. I want to keep you all updated with the latest and greatest of Android (specifically on the Xperia X10) among other tech-related topics. So, I created a YouTube Channel. The Channel name is "TheWeeklyReblog." I only have two videos so far, one being a quick review of the MIUI beta for the Xperia X10.
NOTE: I understand this might be in the wrong forum, someone feel free to move it. I simply did not know where to post it as I'm generally just a reader on XDA and didn't have over 10 posts.

MIUI is a custom ROM. Its UI is similiar to that of the iPhone. There is no stock appdrawer, all of the apps are placed on the home screens. Icons and setting menus are iPhone-ish Beautifull ROM but still not fully finctioning. Hope this explained it for you

actually,these roms are mirorred from some android forum in China & their moderators modded from popular roms in here like MiniCM,GDX,Kuyadroid,CM9 etc.Same as ours always do in here.I prefer to call it "Chinese Versions" of modded roms.Unfortunately,for some reason these forum not so openly like xda & sometime its also contain TRASH ROMS.So this site only choose a few good roms from there & make it easy for u.just like mom prepare a dinner and waiting for u eat it freely

I have a very strong suspiction, these are chinese ROMs for China phones
I mean cheap and non reliable
And as I would never recomend replicas instead of original things, I do not think that it is good idea to use e.g. chinese CMmini

Please anyone can help in getting miui or any skinned ui with some inbuilt features. There are tons of close to stock roms.. but no skinned rom and all the those people stay away who just come here to give their so called gyaan that its android one device ..you should have gone with 5x. Please stay away...

If you are trying to port a skinned ui rom yourself people will help you, if you are indirectly demanding developers to make a skinned ui rom then no one will help you.

Why start ANOTHER thread about it when there already exist SEVERAL threads you can read through and add to? If you want a skinned pone, buy a skinned phone! There ar tons of skinned phones available!

At any time ...or any word u felt that i am demanding....who the hell gave you right to decide which post is demanding or which post it requesting.... There are many users who like miui but most developers love stock experience ....so no miui is available and this post or this thread is a request to them... Not demanding....no one is demanding.... Soooo, let the developers keep their love for stock and try to get "all" those users that like MIUI to learn to become developers instead. Users like yourself. You may be many, but I'm pretty sure you still are a minority. Instead of trying to get people that have chosen the A1 for the specific reason that it is NOT a MIUI (or othe skin) to change it into exactly the thing they want to get away from, try turning to MIUI developers and encourage them to do what you want instead.

Some are there who just wanted a good dual camera setup which only a1 provided that. If u cant help you should keep your mouth closed and ignore the thread. Why dont u learn ignoring..hadnt u quoted me i would have ignored...actuallly al intelligent people ignore the those things which are not their type...id its not your type then just ignore it

And who are you to question me on this, its just i dont want those same ****ty answers like why you bought a1 instead of mix and i am on a1 bcoz i have financial problems else anyone would have gone with pixel or s9 or iphone. Money matters to me and its not easy to buy a phone just for skinned os and i bought this phone thinking the development of every type of rom would be easy but here we got a/b which hinders the devlopment for miui. Yeah i know its very hard to do but its not impossible

why did you bought this phone in the first place? if you like skinned phone you have other choices, but no so much of you "miui fans" bought MI A1 and then come here and ask fork ports.. buy 5x, or note 5 pro or anything else and dont complain here how u dont like stock. if you obviously bought wrong phone for you then go sell this one add some more money and buy something that will suit your needs, its just sad how you all come here, dont even bother to read or search previously posted topic that are same as you wishes and just opet new one.. learn to do something on your own or just buy things that will work for you out of the box, is it really that much hard???

Have 100 "requesting" MIUI threads but also have 1000 mans who are waiting for someone request MIUI to make fun of them. If they choose wrong device then you chose wrong work . Sorry my english is bad

Miui is so 2017 move on and have a look at the rom tread.
