Your only option to 'completly' disable it is by rooting and using app like Titanium backup to freeze, or even completly uninstall it.
If root is not the option, you can try Package disabler pro, it is pretty cheap, but i am not sure if it will completly disable the app.
Anyway your best and easiest option is to root and use titanium backup to uninstall it.

Oh, if you are rooted it is great, you were stuck on splash screen because you uninstalled apps that are required for phone to work.
If you want to be safer, i would suggest to you Safe Uninstall, this app creates backup of every app you uninstall

You can go ahead and uninstall weather, nothing will happen, weather and weather widget are pretty much useless if you don't use it.
If you are wondering if you can uninstall any other app, check my thread on which apps are safe to uninstall

Uninstall and buy it
edit: DAMN IT..you won by some seconds ok..lol
of course was the first thing i did but
appear purchased in marked, so i tried to install it again and then i received the message the download of lgcamerapro was declined because you havent purchase it.
Uninstall it, clear cache in market and purchase? ;D?
re-install the .apk backup through Titanium Backup then use Titanium Backup to 'detach' the .apk from the market
thank you for the help, im going to provide more info, i go to android market WEBSITE, not in my phone, and in my market lgcamerapro appear PURCHASED, this is not market apk issue, im talking about the real market from google. of course i have not purchased that app, but i can not change the purchased status.
I have the same issue with pocket casts and a few other apps I got from the Amazon market. I have sent an email to Android support, but it's been a month and they haven't done a damn thing.

I have same problem. I downloaded some apps (not from market) and linked them with titanium backup with market. Now I cant download them or buy them.
Even if you uninstall the app you still don't have the option? I've never tried to link an app so not sure if that will work.

Rom Toolbox also gives the ability to break market links. Fyi.

You can, but it will still show up the market as installed, and you can't buy it from there. I wanted to get soundhound so I could update it like all my other apps, but I can't as it shows as purchased.
I have exactly the same problem, I tried to unlink the app via TB and also the ROM Toolbox, but still no success :-(

I was using a CM7 build on my Milestone 2 and the Dev included ADWLauncher EX in the ROM. When the ROM was flashed the pirated app was linked to my account without me knowing.
Once ADW was updated I was able to buy and download ADW and everything was fixed.
This is a valid problem.
I have installed a couple of apps with apks supplied by the developers. I used them for a couple of product reviews.
Here is one example.
App shows as purchased

App cannot be installed or updated regardless of whether the original apk is installed or not (and/or linked to the market or not, as far as the phone is concerned). I also tried Titanium Pro.
It is an Android Market thing.
Another thing:
When an app is paid for but then the developer decides to make it free or remove the paid app - it still shows up in the
Android Market list of owned but not yet installed apps.
When you try installing it it stays on the following page forever because nothing really exists to download.

Why don't you use LBE Privacy Guard? With it you can determine for every single app what it's allowed to do. It's free and downloadable.on Google Play.

Lbe has security hole when booting up. Plus doesnt work always. Had instances where something blocked got throught. Pdroid is better but you need to build deodexed rom and build own patch.
What did you install that triggered that permission request?

from the official topic with the LPY room
From the pics I can see that these are all Samsung and Google apps ,most of them should have access without even asking you ,so I guess it's either a bug or maybe a virus?
Anyway I think you can safely give these apps permission seeing they are all system apps.

as I said ,all of them are system apps ,it's just weird that they should ask for permission .
usually if a system appis asking for permission then it has been modified in some way, like modified google maps .
are you sure it is fully stock? if yes then it could be just a bug maybe?
you could probably solve this by wiping ,but since you are on LPY this has the potential of being lethal to your phone.
my advice is allow them access ,I doubt any harm will come of it.
Yeah those seem to be system app but why on earth LCD test and other apps would want to access your google account?
I suggest flash safe kernel wipe data then re-flash ICS.
Or downgrade to GB wipe data then upgrade to ICS.

[Q] Any way to prevent apps from being uninstalled?

My kid sometimes incidentally uninstalls some apps from my SM-T311. I have tried several locking apps like SmartLock, Perfect App Lock etc... with app uninstall locking but these locking apps do not work well. I think maybe due to Kitkat as these work like champ on my old 4.2.2 phone.
Is there any way to lock uninstall apps then?
App lock works, register to an email address to unlock the ability to prevent Uninstallation of app lock. I use it on my teenagers smart phone. Best locking app I have found
I337 stock NC1, rooted, unlocked
Sm-T537A NE1stock, rooted
I'm using CMsecurity for my kid tab. there's a good feature AppsLock. this app with pattern security can blocking KK setting to uninstall apps and can block important apps like e-mail, SuperSU, AFwall, and root apps to open.
Child proof app i think

You can install the app to system that way they cant uninstall it from app drawer
if their smart enough the put a pin on superSU and deactivate it so they don't uninstall it from ESfile explore
Take a look at "/system/app mover" - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.systemappmover, it can convert normal apps to system apps which should block uninstall

I may be late to this discussion but I have https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=imoblife.toolbox.full this with the applock plugin. I set up the applock to lock the uninstall feature in settings, tibu, es file explorer, basically any method of uninstalling things. Its a pin lock. Here are screenshots. I have this on all my Samsung devices (don't have my tab 4 8" yet but will install on there as well) and works perfect.

Safestrap not working
Yeah sorry guys. Been stupidly busy. I'll put a walk through re what I did and some screenies as soon as I can get the time. All good though, know using Go Launcher and Go Lockscreen. All seem to be working flawlessly with Google apps all installed too. Also used Titanium Pro to disable Lockscreen Ads.
Hi having trouble signing in to Google play¿ Can you do a little guide?
So. All I really did .that facilitated this was the downgrade. The rest was simple. Frankly if you don't have to go to Amazon for the downgrade you're on the home straight.
Once rooted via Towelroot I used Titanium Backup to 'freeze' the Special Offers apk.
Install Gapps and rebooted.
Then I Installed Go Launcher (bought it actually) as Nova launcher didn't change the wallpaper.
Finally installed Go Lockscreen to bypass the lack of images on the touchscreen after removing the ads.
I'll upload some screenies if you like?

This version will work fine.
"Special Offers apk" one of the components that displays Amazon promotions on the lock screen. Titanium Backup can be used to disable ("freeze") applications so they can't run. Other tools can do this too. This is a UI refinement and not necessary for 4.5.3 -> 3.2.8 rollback.

I have been seeing a lot about the "build.prop" file and needing to have the right permissions set on it. I'm not sure what that file does or when you need to worry about it. Does it come into play with a 4.5.3 downgrade to 3.2.8 running Safestrap and Sock ROM/Nexus ROM?

No, it is not necessary for this downgrade. And, without a custom recovery, if it gets corrupted, you are probably bricked.
Build.prop is a file that neatly lays out a bunch of running constraints for the operating system.
So, follow the downgrade directions and you will be happiest leaving build prop alone.
Good luck.

There is a lot of junk on our smartphones that needs to be disabled / removed, and I created my own program for this. It works great on Samsung!
I tried to make it as convenient and easy to use as possible. By the way, a new update has recently been released that allows you to still manage application permissions.
You can create your own presets (lists) of applications to be disabled, but I am attaching my DEMO preset for ADB AppControl.
You can enable everything back on, but it's best to make sure you don't turn off something important to you before turning it off.

You can enable everything back on, but it's best to make sure you don't turn off something important to you before turning it off.

the app cantrol using pm clear somehow doesnt work well, yes it works but the process seems hidden. so using adb uninstall works alot better as it prevents the app from running any task like ota

ADB AppControl works fine. With it, people are disabling thousands of applications every day. Must have for any Samsung.
When using it, is it straightforward to go back to exact factory stock, with no loss of DRM / Samsung Pay / verified bootloader / whatever the heck they're tracking these days? I would assume so, but after torpedoing my last phone I don't want to assume anything.
