sooo.... I've seen alot of good posts, mod projects, OS topics... with downloads e.t.c..
but why are so many posts deleted?
like... for example the performance mod for huawei p8 lite (flashable zip)
or the TWRP 3.0.2-0... it just got deleted!
no download links! nothing?

Let me tell you a story:
So once there where 2 mighty developers in the huawei p8 lite land. The people loved them. They did things to our phone that nobody would do for us. There was peace and prosperity. Everybody was happy.
Until that day.
As soon as they released custom roms etc...
The evil powers came. Those evil powers where the lazy noobs.
They didn't play accordingly the rules.
In stead of reading and learning they just asked the same question a 1000 times.
The mighty developers tried to withstand those evil but failed.
As of that they fled our p8 lite country and took every bit of knowledge with them.
As of today you can still see the remains of that gigantic battle in the form of deleted posts.

The title is soooo misleading. Have you even checked it out? How do you dare to upload something you haven't tried? You can harm other peoples phones.

And you should really learn how to talk decently. What's so daring in what I did? And if you have the SLIGHTEST knowledge about phones, you should realise the fact that if there isn't a compatible ROM for the device, no ROMs show up.

Really? Have you tried it in your Honor 8? Can you kindly point me to the roms that have been developed for the Honor 8? Because I can't find any. I am sorry if you took offense but I take it seriously when you can brick other people's phones.

And BTW, I have a Honor 5X. I have been flashing his ROMs only, and they were always reliable, never stuck in BLOD. And as he could provide screenshots, that's an assurance too

Alright, attacking me won't help your post to gain credibility, since I have no idea about phones I won't reply anymore .
I thought it was base on CM, but it's better than nothing.
But the first post link is indeed misleading, the phone and ROM in the pictures are completely different phones?

Well, it depends on what ddevice is being connected to the PC. I don't know if they have Honor 8 ROMs there, but I have seen some people say so

Dude, there are ROMs. You are the one who's talking without prior knowledge. Other users have reported that they found ROMs. And besides, check my other post in this forum. If that isn't a ROM, tell me what it is.
That's just a slightly modified stock ROM.
Dude, custom ROMs are another thing.

The survey is created before the release of H8 in INDIA. So it was not there.
I will update in it, once Honor 8 is added to that list.
And this is not specific to Honor 8. EMUI can include this to other devices too. So you can post by selecting Honor 5X also.

It's not only about nougat,i searched pretty well before posting and found no "Discussion" thread, please let me know if there is already one so i talk to mods and delete this thread,thank you.
I have updated EMUI 5 for honor 8. And after factory reset my icons are not displaying. It shows blank screen. i have tried restart, power off &on and reset all settings and also tried adding different app but not coming back. Checked and found that huawei home 6.3.47 apk is installed and may be i need to try re-install that apk. Help me to fix this issue.

I'm satisfied but not more than that. It's an OK phone but definitely not the greatest. I regret selling my Nexus 6P and choosing this one instead, that's for sure!

Official oreo update will come to S6 Edge+, it is confirmed by samsung, ETA is unknown, but at least we will receive it.

A Samsung representative from Europe told me that Galaxy S8 will be receiving Android8 in march or april.
It's marketing cause at the WMC 2018 in Barcelona Galaxy S9 will debout and from a marketing standpoint it has to be the first to have Oreo.
So maybe we'll get it in May or may never
