It's not only about nougat,i searched pretty well before posting and found no "Discussion" thread, please let me know if there is already one so i talk to mods and delete this thread,thank you.
I have updated EMUI 5 for honor 8. And after factory reset my icons are not displaying. It shows blank screen. i have tried restart, power off &on and reset all settings and also tried adding different app but not coming back. Checked and found that huawei home 6.3.47 apk is installed and may be i need to try re-install that apk. Help me to fix this issue.

I'm satisfied but not more than that. It's an OK phone but definitely not the greatest. I regret selling my Nexus 6P and choosing this one instead, that's for sure!

First those are not discussions threads,this one talks about everything, a basic discussion thread like in any other forum,second,if it was a duplicate, mods would have close it long time ago,third show some respect and talk better, you are the only one complaining here,thanks. Two developers are gone because xda management get rid of them for not publicised reasons.
The reason is not so important as the fact they good work is out of this forum.
Even they stopped here you can find they work which is continue out of this place.

Dunno who is second dev but g00h really had some impresive work which was very good and unique to my opinion , and whatever the reason is it is maybe kinda harsh decision to just block someone just like that who spent a lot of time making this forum even more popular.. Sad but true..

It would be really sad if G00h is really gone. Does g00h has a social media account or something with maybe some more background information?
I will not get into why he was banned as it is no ones concern but the mod teams and the banned user. All I will say is that he earned it. And for those that think it was very unique, it really wasnt.
You have to remember this is a developer forum. Not a rom site. Not a place to come and make your phone cool.

And you should really learn how to talk decently. What's so daring in what I did? And if you have the SLIGHTEST knowledge about phones, you should realise the fact that if there isn't a compatible ROM for the device, no ROMs show up.

And BTW, I have a Honor 5X. I have been flashing his ROMs only, and they were always reliable, never stuck in BLOD. And as he could provide screenshots, that's an assurance too

Dude, there are ROMs. You are the one who's talking without prior knowledge. Other users have reported that they found ROMs. And besides, check my other post in this forum. If that isn't a ROM, tell me what it is.
