I have windows tablet, and recently I installed phoenix os to my tablet. Now it has multi-boot function, and I can scroll from Windows 10 to phoenix os, but I cannot confirm the choice as I don't have any kind of keyboard. I tried if power button acts like enter button, but it wasn't. If you can, can you show me the way to change confirming button on os-select screen?
I searched for phoenix os forum, and think it does not have any kind of Q&A forum. If not, please let me know

the button on the phone that has the win logo on, and usally shows the start menu, does not work in this custom rom. I get a link not found error...
do anyone know a tweak or regedit fix that will get normal operation for this button?
go to the buttons page in setings and set it correctly
Thank you!
I was in that page before, but the button where labeled "knapp1" or "button1". That labeling where enough to throw me off track.
my startmenu button works as it is suppose to now
hi i just baught a HTC HD2 off of craiglist and it is running Android 2.3. My question is do i need to go back to windows 6.5 to upgrade to windows 7? or can i upgrade Windows 7 from Android 2.3? thank you in advance...
Try this. Power off device. power up device and hold the power button. A menu will appear called MALGDR. Using the vol keys to scroll and the power button to select, go to USB flasher. Plus in your phone to computer. Download a WP7 rom. Flash the DAF/whatever.exe file as an administrator if you're on vista/7. And done.
kool, thank you will try it out...
so i can download one of these windows7 roms and just do the procedure you told me?
Ya. Doesn't matter if it's android/WP7, you flash a new rom through the USB flasher. For winmo roms, you need to get to the tri color screen. Which is by powering up the device whilst holding vol down.
just kinda of confusing reading up stuff like i need to download window sdk zune etc.... but i will try your procedure... thank you
Hi every one.
I've done a quick search on the internet about motorola's dev phone. I only found someone denying the exitence of dev phone for the M2 (on motorola dev's site.).
So, where does the dev phones running GB comes from?
One of my theorie :
Can a key combination on boot turn the phone into dev mode? (In fact, unlock it? )
I've already tested some :
The well know bootloader with the volume key.
The X key on the keyboard for the recovery mode.
The search key on the keyboard seems to have no effects, so the alt key.
Do you know other key combination?
sent from some argent2stone MM2
they pressed both the volume keys to get to fastboot mode
Ok guys I'm a noob to all this stuff. I bought a slim7 tablet for my daughter which she loves. So I got the bright idea to install adw launcher ex on it and now the touch screen don't work the power and volume buttons still work just no touch screen. I've read the previous post and tried to connect the tablet to my PC to root but my guess is that its not in debugging mode because my PC only sees the device ad a CD drive where the huawei software is saved. Does anyone know if this can be fixed or did I brick the damn thing. I've tried volume up/down. + power to get hboot but pwr + volume up = boot loop and pwr + volume down = a white bar in the middle of the screen and flashing home menu and back buttons. Any help would be great and sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place.
Edit: nevermind I returned the tablet today.

Hi, im sorry to hear about your brickage! You can try flashing it (upgrading), resetting it and all that.
Here are some guides on updating, but this is not the slim edition!

You should also be able to use "fastboot" to recover the device! I suggest you familiarize yourself with various resources like "adb" and stuff, fastboot is available from HTC for all platforms. a quick google should help you out.
EDIT: Duh now i read the nevermind thing!
Hello, I'm currently running an older version of android, namely the NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-HWA_V2.5 and I've recently encountered some very serious problems.
I don't really know why, but my system crashes/reboots whenever I press a navigation key(back, home or menu on softkey, any of the buttons for hardkey) and I really have no idea what is causing it. I've tried a lot of things and I really don't know what to do.
When I press any of those keys it hangs for a while then skips straight to OS booting(not MAGLDR bootloader, the animated loading screen of the OS), then when it loads it will say a sim was just inserted and I'll need to reboot the system, after I reboot it works fine until I press a softkey.
Naturally, you can't use a phone for 5 seconds without pressing any of the keys, especially the back and home button. So I really need help regarding what I can do to fix this ASAP. Any answers will be GREATLY appreciated, thanks in advance.
Honestly I'd say just try another ROM, but first it could be as simple as dirty flashing your existing ROM over itself.
