Pro3 up to USB 2.0 or 3.0 speeds? - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hello. Have you checked USB 3.0 <dark blue> cables speeds for our phones? 2.0 should provide up to 480 mbps (60 MBps) and 3.0 5gbps (600 MBps). Windowses manager is not realible, you should measure how many MB was sent per seconds (min 1 minute). If yes, please tell us the results. I would like to buy cables today.

I have never seen more than 30 MB/s on USB2 and about 70MB/s on USB3, and yes Le Pro 3 works at USB3 speeds.

[Q] What's the USB 3.0 for?

Hey all,
I was just wondering, what's the USB 3.0 for? I mean, the micro SD card isn't fast enough to max out usb 2.0 transfer speeds, and the internal space is capped by the MTP system, right?
Thanks in advanced.
I believe sammy made internal sd cappable of transfering real quick, I tested it with my 32gb dunno wat was it called, but its supposed to be fast, like real fast...so 3.0 is from cellphone to computer, If yours support it, it will be the same as int storage to ext microsd(if it supports fast transfers)

I don`t think the USB 3.0 is useful at all the Class 10 SD Cards has a write speed of 40 MB/s USB 2.0 is 60 MB/s so yes the SD card couldn`t even match the USB 2.0 Spec and internal storage is only 16 GB so even if it`s capable of reaching USB 3.0 speeds which I highly doubt as the USB 3.0 speeds are really close to the SATA 3.0 Specs and currently there is no hard disk on the world matching the SATA 3.0 Specs so I doubt that the internal storage is capable of reaching USB 3.0 so yes the USB 3.0 is not useful probably the only reason we have it is because it charge the phone faster then a USB 2.0 cable because of the additional pins.

I think they went with usb 3.0 with the sole purpose of increasing charging rate, the batteries are starting to increase in size but the rate they charge hasn't really changed much so they went with usb 3.0 to increase the rate. Quickcharge 2.0 is coming soon though so that should help to

usb chargers are NOT usb 3, they don't have the extra back row of pins needed, they only use the standard 4 pin usb which is usb 2. if you use a charging program like galaxy charging current you get no improvement with usb2 over usb3. most s5's were only shipped with usb2 cables anyway. quick charge 2.0 is based on standard usb2.
yeah i dont see any speed difference tbh

Yes if you charge from Laptop but what if you use the charger ? Since i have both usb 3 and usb 2 cables I will test to see if there is a difference in the charging time.
Can you please test and let us know whether usb 3.0 cable charges faster or not

Battery question

I have an N10 that seems to be charging slow.
I put a kill-a-watt on it and it showed it was only drawing .13 Amps while charging.
This isn't normal is it?
Try with other usb cable 1st...
Then try with other charger....
Usually is the usb cable that cause slow charging due to aging or mishandling the usb cable...

Try the micro usb charging instead...
I'll try some more different configs and report back.
thanks for getting me thinking.
Your reading of 0.13 Amps on the "kill-a-watt" meter is normal. That reading is based on 115 Volts. The Power (P) that your device is using to charge itself is P = Volts x Amps = 0.13 x 115 = 14.95 Watts.
Power is constant, but your device uses 5 Volts for charging.
So on the 5 Volt side, it is drawing 14.95 Watts / 5 Volts = 2.99 Amps
Thanks for that lesson in electricity!

Mine has a similar issue, where it takes forever to charge, but it will last weeks on a charge if left a lone and hours using it hard.

Max charge speed

Hello let us tell me the maximum charging speed on your mobile.
Mine 4gb variant with havoc 2.5. i get 1900 mah in my 2A charger
with rawwork kernel v5.6 in all custom roms i get 1900+ and after 90% it drops to 800.
(3gb varient)

Charging speed

To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Moto G Power can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
This phone definitely can take up to 15 watts but it's picky

i don't really notice that, so i did some testing:
i used an old charger from an old htc ( about 8 years old) it charges with 5 volts, 1.5 amp ( so 7.5 watts total), exactly what i'd expect ( it is rated 1.5 amp)
i tried my 10 year old htc adapter, but it wouldn't charge, it would only connect/disconnect and volt and amps were very wonky , it couldn't establish a connection. ( just threw it a way, just in case)
If you use a quickcharger ( the motorola provided with the phone) it charges with 6 volts, 2.8 amps , which is roughly 16.8 volts
if you use a cheap chinese quickcharge, my measurements are 5.6 volts @ 2.7 amp which would be 15 watts , it is a bit less stable.... ( voltage and amperage are a bit wonky, but still charging ok.
further i tried a 5 volt 2 amp ( cheap Chinese) charger, and it charged with exactly 5 volts , 1.5 amps. which is 7.5 watts
so if you have a "decent" charger, you get what is promised, if you use a cheap chinese one you get what you should expect.
So what do you mean exactly with "a bit picky"?

It can charge pretty quickly with Verizon 27 watts PD charger and Motorola 27 watts charger came with One Hyper, and it charge in decent speed with Anker 18 watts charger
Everything else is not much

Charging speed with qc 3.0

So I've been testing charging speed with a quick charge brick(qc 3.0) and a 3amp cable for a while now and i can never reach to 18W (i know its hypothetical but i can't cross even 10W). I'm on latest xiaomi.eu 11.0.7 stable. These are the results I got from ampere - 4V 1.2 amps. I've tried changing the charger but results were pretty similar. I can only get upto 7-8 watts and idea why ? (I've started from 0% battery, 10%,20%,30%). My device doesn't get heated so i don't think it's throttling issue.
