I just wanted to say thanks to the forum here. I recently purchased a 2002 VW Passat. I have a pile of parts building up in the trunk. Still waiting on the HU cage and Axxess ASWC-1. It looks like I won't be able to get to the install until next weekend.
Joying HU JY-UL128N2 Sofia 2 GB MTCD unit
128 GB SD
Sony 322 NDVR camera
32 GB Class 10
OBDII ELM 327
Back up Camera

CARAV 14-004 HU cage
Scosche Adapter Harness
Metra Antenna Adapter
Axxess ASWC-1 Canbus Converter Box
This is the first radio install I have done in more than 20 years. I am looking forward to it. I just wanted to say thanks for all the great info I am finding here, and that there is support for the HU once I get it installed and up and running.

Have ordered this unit for my 2006 xtrail.
But not sure what wiring harness I need. Will this fit directly to the connector in the car, or do I need a adapter?
Will steering wheel buttons work with this?
I know this is an old post but I'm looking at the same unit for my 07 X-Trail. How did you go fitting it, did you just need to buy a nissan iso pack? Did the unit fit in the dash ok and are you happy with the unit overall?
Hi guys ,
just installed a Chinese 9" Head Unit in my Mazda 3 2011 sedan, unfortunately the steering wheel multi function doesn't work at all.
the unit is based on 9218 motherboard and work with Android 8.1, with 2GB of ram and 32 GB flash memory.
i tried to set up the can bus from factory settings but what ever i tried to do nothing is working.
oddly the same can bus, with the same wiring harness works very normally with another and similar head unit (belong to my friends car) but with 1GB ram and 16GB Memory.
my question is (beside find a solution to the problem) Can I use this can bus with any head unit? .. of course with the correct settings.
and what is needed to run a can bus with specific head unit?
Hi, could anyone tell me if the xtron range units themselves are kinda generic? ie the main units are the same, only car brand fascia and iso harness supplied the differences? ive just aquired very cheap SUZUKI Android 9.0 Car Stereo with DSP (PST99SZK) unit, and looking at it it seems it can be unscrewed and removed from its suzuki specific facia, so my question is are the pinouts on the connections at the back on the different units the same, or are they different, and could i use this unit in my vehicle (2007 audi TT 8J) using this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004539995254.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.41681802yBnZsH
also is there custom rom that would be able to be flashed to this device?
Hal9k possible ???
Just bought one of these eonon q03pro units to put in my 2006 mercedes c180 (W203), its a universal unit not car specific, to replace a failed other chinese unit(8 core 8667 chip based unit). I have tested it today but not fully fitted as waiting for facsia kit to arrive.
My last unit was car specific with dedicated wiring harness and canbus for steering controls, this one only came with a standard ISO connector and I have a dedicated mercedes wiring harness coming with the facsia kit, however having a day off I decided to try powering up with the harness from the old 8667 unit, it powered up ok but the steering controls will not work. I have been told Mercedes don't use the resistive control method, you can't program wheel controls like that via the key wires. You would need to use the high/low wires and select your Mercedes model in the advanced Canbus options

Hi, as you changed device , you must set also model for wheel controls via canbus settings in factory settings. It must work.
Sometimes controls must be set afterwards, depends on the canbus box (if it is SIMPLE SOFT, HIWORLD or RAISE canbus) that you installed. You have to shift between canbus settings of various car models in order to work. If you have online update for canbus controls update via internet.
Thank you will try that, maybe trial and error but I thought there would be a way to make it work, as it was from a previous unit set for W203 Mercedes c class. This is my 3rd android unit in the car so hopefully this one will work
Hi, I have a Podofo 7" stereo with 2gb, single din. Trying to install in a 2009 BMW 128i. I only bought it to have steering wheel controls. No steering wheel controls. Axxess tech support tells me that the ASWC-1 is not supported when using off brand Chinese head units. I have a Scosche wiring harness. I'm not able to get the Axxess unit to work. Is there a way to get rid of the Axxess adapter completely, and just program the head unit to communicate with the BMW canbus?
Thanks,
Jimmy

This kind of adapter is supossed to work with professional audio brand such as Pioneer, JVC, kenwood etc. where device only accepts analog signal.

The best and the simplest solution is to buy complete new harness with canbus adapter dedicated for android head units and your car.
Something like this will do the job:

But make sure what type of plug is in your stereo and car harness. And canbus adapter too..
I bought simillar for my bmw x5 and works fine. beside stering wheel controls it provides open-door alerts (and trunk ) and simple data such as vehicle speed, revs, milage, temperature.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THIS IS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!!!!!!
Hi, use and buy HIWORLD canbus and settings for multimedia it's much more stable. If you can find any on sale.
This ones provided in links are unbranded. I don't know if they will work.
