[Q] Lg g2 need more space 16gb

Hi I'm sorry if this been posted b4 but I bought and 3 branded lg g2 and got it unlocked but I only have 7 gb left after putting picks on so is there any way of debranding my fone and remove 3 apps cuz I'm using vodafone not 3 and get more space please I herd there a way 2 flash a stock rom but don't know if there is 1 for vodafone also I fined vodafone they said they don't even stock lg phones so need help please

I have the AT&T version of the G2 and it comes stock with 32gb. I havent heard of any G2's coming with 16gb. I suppose you could try putting AOKP or AOSP to free up space.

Actually, at least over here, the 16GB model is far more common.

Hello i got my g2 for 2 months. I want to root that but first i need to know how to get back stock. My phone is d802 but with polish "PLUS" brand. I didnt found any solution to get stock phone with that brand. Any ideas

[Q] root G2 Videotron variant

Hi XDA,
I just bought a new G2 and I want root it.
I search for someone have already did it for the G2 variant of videotron. I don't want take a guess, last year I had another G2 and I tried a script for the T-Mobile variant and that's never work. The script says I'm root, but when I booted the phone and try that said I'm not root.
Plus, the phone become instable and I had force shutdown because the phone overheated. After, 6 mouth the place where the phone overheated, the screen doesn't respond half of time.
I readed on the forum, like what, the method for the Chinese version can work, but I don't wanna do perma dommage on my phone again.
So sorry for the english quality, English are not my language of every day

Edited, now g2 ioroot xda thread. It says it works on d801.

I made a quick google search, and I think your variant is D801 try searching for stuff for that particular model/variant. Make sure this is actually the model for your variant, I know its not much, but just knowing the exact model can be more useful than just naming the carrier.

Yes I know the version of videotron it's the d801, but last time I try a root for the d801 the root didn't work. I have read like what the boot.IMG cause some problem. I found some post of people successfully rooted the videotron G2, but no one said how they do.

[Q] Hi new here, can i get some info on lollipop for the G2.

Hello so here is my situation, i am on cricket wireless with an unlocked lg g2 D800 from ATT. On the 14th ATT pushed out 5.0.2 to the D800 but i have not yet received an alert for it, and when i check my phone it says i am up to date. I also tried installing the LG PC suite software on my PC and when checking for an update there it also says there are no updates for my phone.
Now where do i go from here? I was under the impression when i went to cricket that as long as ATT sent out OS upgrades OTA i would be getting them on cricket, is this not correct? I really want lollipop for the features and aesthetics where do you guys suggest i do at this point, its also kind of lame that everytime i check for a update my phone puts a 24 hour cooldown before i can do it again can i get around this somehow in settings? (i couldnt find anything)
Any info is very much appreciated, i love my G2 but lollipop would make it that much better!

At the very least can someone let me know how to bypass the 24 hour cooldown LG put on the phone for checking for updates?

Weird Lg G2 Version Need Help Rooting

Hi, I'm a new member in Xda, but i've been around for a while so I know that if there's a solution to my problem, it'd be probably coming from one of you guys, so thanks in advance ... !
So I bought a new Lg G2 a few days ago, it was in new condition, and both the label and rear cover tell it's a D802 version.
But I 've encountered some weird issues, first, when I type it's imei in imei.info it says it's A SIERRA WIRELESS device...
and lg's ota update center says it's not registered yet.
And yesterday when I tried to root via IOROOT25 method ( Because it's running kitkat 4.4.2) the recovery menu on the G2 shows some 80020c version on the top roght corner of the screen, which probably means it's a D800 model. (But on android info it says d802, and d80220c version....)
So I'd really appreciate some help from you guys, because I really want to root it, and maybe get Lollipop,
Will ioroot Brick it ?
And is there a way to save The Imei because that one feels a little weird and modified...

I actually had a pretty similar problem on my own g2 (d802)
I bought it from aliexpress, my imei number showd it is a d800 model! But all other stuff in system showd d802..
The first thing you should do is open/ your back cover (there are instructions on YouTube) and check the real model, it sould be on the buttom left corner beneath the battery.
Mine showd it is ad802 but a friend of mine found out that his d802 was a fake one and he really got a d800 (allthough in system info ut showd d802! He bricked his device ?)
Anyways, if you see its a d802 you can use it with no fear i tried several roms on mine and all are perfect! Right now using cloudyg2 3.3 with dorimanx, and battery life is amazing!! ?
Oh and btw, ioroot didnt work for me, i also was on d80020c, but no fear! used stumproot and it worked flawlessly
