Has anyone produced a custom Rom for this device, or have reliable security information about what has been happening with V14 of the Stock Rom? I'm concerned about the security of my device, and what if any support it still gets from BLU.

Hi,
Is there, or is it possible to update security patch level for custom ROMs? Some stock based ROMs are relatively old, and their Devs didn't continue developing those ROMs. So, they have an old security patch level. I'm using Cloudy 3.3, and I'm wondering if the security patch level has become old and needs to be updated.

I am searching for a MM (NOT NOUGAT) ROM which is stock android as much as possible. But I only find ressurection remix which is 7.0
Anyone knows a good 6.0 Nearly AOSP ROM?
Thanks for help!

Have you tried this?
Not aosp, but very small and light if you don't flash add-on and mod
Despite there may be personal preferences using a MM rom I heavily advise against it due to missing security patches. Unlike Linux distros support is dropped by vendor immediately once a new version is released.
As the title states, I was wondering if anyone has been developing nougat based roms that I can use? I would rather have the ability to have twrp installed to the second partition and an easier way to root since nougat is somewhat lax in the way you root it. Maybe an unofficial build of lineage? I'm not ready to try out Oreo out yet.
Hello,
I am on latest stock ROM with May Security Updates. I wanted to trebelize my phone but all the tutorials I am finding are of Oreo based stock ROMs. Can anyone point me to the right direction of the latest stock Android P ROM. Would be of great help, thanks!
Hi,
Since I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 that is getting slower and slower each year, I am thinking of flashing the device to a custom ROM if available for my smartphone model. But I have a few questions about how these customs ROMs work.
For example, my Galaxy J5 is stuck on Android 6.0.1 which means I won't be getting the latest versions of apps (correct me if I am wrong). Also, there is the security issue as I won't be receiving neither OS version updates or security patches.
Does using a custom ROM fix all of these problems? How about security? Is it safer to use a custom ROM compared to an outdated original ROM?
Thanks in advance!
