Finished installing it, and well it looks like any other 4.1.2 Samsung ROM, haven't seen anything new. I'm guessing the changes are under the hood. In the end, still nice to have!

It would have been nice if we would have got 4.2 but something is better than nothing✌

Its a all in one package to be flashed in the "PDA" option.
Modem and CSC is included. After flashing the ROM in Odin leave it plugged in till the phone boots up completely. From experience if I take it out early CSC will not be flashed for some reason.

I have the gs2 that I get stuck in mid-update
for a problem of nand
so I want to try with the file split
to completely reset galaxy s2

Hey Guys! Just saw in the german forums that someone with the i9505 has already got Android 5.0.1 on his phone! He let an online shop repair his phone and afterwards he got this on it.
He just doesn't know how to dump the stock software as a tar.md5, to give this to us.
By the way it's a EU-Brandfree i9505XXUHOA7. Someone may could help?

He doesn't want to root his phone, so you can't do an proper system dump to create an ROM image.

To Dump it to his phone there are many ways but the most important step will be to install a custom recovery say cwm or touch philz.
then after he has two options either to create a update.zip from the current rom or make a complete nandroid backup to give it to us. And then we will do the rest of the job.

HERE is the thread speaking about the new update but the super moderator tell that only are speculations. Take a look the date too: *29.01.15*. More of 15 days and we don't have notices of the official Lollipop for our i9505. Weird, no?

I think so.
Its easy to modify build.prop, you can make Android version 6.0.1 if you want.
No informations for i9505XXUHOA7 on Sammobile, neither on Samsung live Update so...

Okay so after all of this fakeness I can finally say that this was all fake and some people were right...
The hex the guy found in the fake files of so called official I guess belongs to 4.4.2 and also idk why people are not able to extract it so theres something wrong with it or maybe even a virus.
Also the twitter guy who gave us the link isn't from Germany either he is from Netherlands then how the hell did he manage to get it.
So therefore there is no need to waste time on this.
Hope we receive the official soon or it will drive us crazy lol.

would be nice, so we could try S7 camera app on our Edge.
On Note 4 it works for many people.
I've found a description and translate that, how to enable it, maybe who has a deodexed rom can try it.
1. so first we need a deodexed rom, and i like stock, so can't try atm..
2. and also need: Root Explorer or other app to set rights (with root permission ofc)
3. download Camera app
4. download Activation app
5. Copy them to phone
6. In System-PrivatApp folder (file manager app set to "MOUNT R/O" ) then delete "ShootingModeProvider" folder (make a backup for sure)
7. reboot into recovery and install only the Camera app.
8. reboot system and start camera (if not the new s7 camera appears then we should change kernel. We have kernel only from Mickey as i know, so we have not so much tries)
9. If new Camera app started then we go into MOD settings of camera and we should only see Automatic mode. Download all the 6 modes.
10. reboot into recovery and install Activation app.
11. reboot, start camera and we should see PRO mode. (RAW is possible not working, it causes FC).

Yes but the problem is, that there are old versions of deodexed ROMs for N915F available. But no new STOCK Firmware.
Thats very very very bad. And i don't know i can deodexing it.
I have read a lot of that procedure, but i don't know how i can do it.

I've found a tool, so we can do it ourselves easily I have no experience in it yet, maybe later i'll give that a try.

Could you fix that? Maybe a hard reset or a fresh install?

I must look today again but you can try it yourself too. With this tool it is easy.

we choosed the bad device my friend

Yes i think i will buy the note 7.
Now i tried deodexing again but no luck.
The phone hangs in the samsung animation boot screen for 4 hours.
I give it up to deodexing.

I can help you guys with the new ROM deodexed for note edge....

I tested your custom rom on my note edge FY but i got bootloop. Anyway there is a deodexed package by @and2 for DPC7/3 and DPE1 on XDA. If you can deodex DPG1 for note F/FY/G you will be our hero mate. :good:

I have an Australian version of the Axon 7 mini.
Model Number : ZTEB2017G
Android version : 6.0.1. (I'm waiting for an update since months)
Build number : ZTE B2017G APV1.0.0B01
So my questions are : 1 - Wich version it is? The Chinese, USA or EU? Or really one specific to Australia?
2 - Following the last question wich root/rom should i use?
3 - Is there any other Australians with this phone and did you get an android update?

Sorry bout that did not know at time of sharing link it would work or not work on your model as nobody else outside of myself and some e.u users had successfully did it i assumed it would as you have international model like me. I don't know will it work on yours and would hate to contribute to your device being bricked

When u do updated, what about all aplications? is it deleted like new install, or it still there?

I confirmed, update global version (from gearbest) to latest B13 from german via zip file.
All data (apps and pics) are still on device. But I don't recommended that way. I have many problems with apps and system settings.
After factory reset it's all ok now.

just go download it from sammobile.com/firmwares and delete the other 4 files you dont need
by the time anyone answers with a link on here, you could have easily downloaded the whole firmware set and utilized what you need from it, discarding the rest

Hi, I also have the same problem where I can no longer connect to any network after flashing my phone. I tried flashing the file from the link using Odin but it says "md5 error, Binaray is invalid", please assist in overcoming this

try to get a picture of the error with another phone, it might be the baseband version error. This post is a year and a half old and its entirely probable that your baseband version has updated several times since then and you cannot go backwards in baseband versions

if its not recognizing your sim, then its probably a CSC version that isnt compatible with your network. Similar to my response to the other post, this is a really old thread and im kinda surprised that it would work today unless you kept your phone in a drawer, powered off since then and refused updates if it was on, which only gets you so far before they require you to update. I cant recall even what version of android is in the mega link i posted and im not going to dl it as im on my work computer. Id just get the latest version of the FW you need and flash that. sammobile.com/firmwares is where i recommend everyone to get them and use Frija or SamFirm to download the files. its over 4x faster than directly from the site. Trust me on that one. LoL
