[I9505XXUHOA7] Android 5.0.1 found
Hey Guys! Just saw in the german forums that someone with the i9505 has already got Android 5.0.1 on his phone! He let an online shop repair his phone and afterwards he got this on it.
He just doesn't know how to dump the stock software as a tar.md5, to give this to us.
By the way it's a EU-Brandfree i9505XXUHOA7. Someone may could help?

He doesn't want to root his phone, so you can't do an proper system dump to create an ROM image.

To Dump it to his phone there are many ways but the most important step will be to install a custom recovery say cwm or touch philz.
then after he has two options either to create a update.zip from the current rom or make a complete nandroid backup to give it to us. And then we will do the rest of the job.

HERE is the thread speaking about the new update but the super moderator tell that only are speculations. Take a look the date too: *29.01.15*. More of 15 days and we don't have notices of the official Lollipop for our i9505. Weird, no?

I think so.
Its easy to modify build.prop, you can make Android version 6.0.1 if you want.
No informations for i9505XXUHOA7 on Sammobile, neither on Samsung live Update so...
Okay so after all of this fakeness I can finally say that this was all fake and some people were right...
The hex the guy found in the fake files of so called official I guess belongs to 4.4.2 and also idk why people are not able to extract it so theres something wrong with it or maybe even a virus.
Also the twitter guy who gave us the link isn't from Germany either he is from Netherlands then how the hell did he manage to get it.
So therefore there is no need to waste time on this.
Hope we receive the official soon or it will drive us crazy lol.

Finished installing it, and well it looks like any other 4.1.2 Samsung ROM, haven't seen anything new. I'm guessing the changes are under the hood. In the end, still nice to have!

Its a all in one package to be flashed in the "PDA" option.
Modem and CSC is included. After flashing the ROM in Odin leave it plugged in till the phone boots up completely. From experience if I take it out early CSC will not be flashed for some reason.

I have the gs2 that I get stuck in mid-update
for a problem of nand

The issue I have now is that I can't take OTAs due to being rooted (phone says so) and while having the notification for an OTA (I thin V10p) Pc Suite tells me I have latest verson (v10j)...
I will try with my girlfriend's unrooted F460 see if she has lollipop update.

Not yet mate, because F460 was released after G3. , so we need to wait. According to a piece of information here, F460 has v20b Lollipop for internal testing I hope we would get it soon.

Go to Sammobile (make an account)download the Polish version Lollipop en flash wit Odin 3.09. Poland is the only version for now.
Here on XDA you can find the links, a little effort from you won't hurt

The links on Princecomsy never worked, and my phone only lasts 12 hours unplugged, doing nothing ( i went to battery usage and was dismayed to see the ETA till phone death).
Anyone have please please have the Original Boot kernel for an ATT Marshmallow Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Eng Boot Kernel ?
I left messages in the original forums, but no one is responding.

From the sounds of this, you're needing stock firmware. And since you didn't specifically say s7 edge and you only said s7, here's what you need.

This is Marshmallow 6.0.1

Remember, these aren't for the edge variant. Only for the NON edge. (Normal s7). If you need the edge variants, you're gonna need different firmware.

Yep, that is what I wanted, Non-edge. But unfortunately the MM links are all dead =(

The PK1 files are even newer the PL2 files we were looking for earlier, so there's a plus. . (those are the ones released right before Nougat was released .)
