Axon7 (A2017G) - Various Issues - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Hello to everyone,
I am a new forum user even if I follow you by many years.
A few months ago I bought a Axon 7 (A2017G) and since then I've encountered software and hardware issues.
In particular, I upgraded to Nougat (versions 7 and 7.1.1) and I have experiencing loss of data connection and phone line. A simple restart of the terminal has always solved everything.
The fingerprint reader is no longer responsive as before and the camera focus has worsened significantly. I tried to make, several times, a factory reset but it did not do anything.
So I decided to return to marshmallow (B10).
The other problem is display related.
Everything is more clear when using the virtual keyboard. In practice, it is as if the display were disturbed, for a fraction of a second, by a sort of electric discharges. The phone works normally but it were annoying me a lot.
I have already taken steps to replace the device but nothing has changed. Which is your advise except to make a return of the phone?
Sorry for my english.

[Q] Nexus 7 does not register touch correctly

Hi all,
Recently I purchased the 32GB Nexus 7. It's been all right, however since last week it's beginning to have troubles. When I tap on the screen, the input registers on a random part of the screen.
Before you ask:
the device is on 4.1.2 and is 100% stock, was rooted but I reverted to check if it would help
updating to 4.2 does NOT fix the issue, in fact it makes it worse
I have tried reinstalling the touch drivers from XDA about a thousand times (yes I did do the right build version) to no avail
Rebooting helps, but the issue comes back after about five minutes. I want my Nexus back!
Any help that you have would be appreciated.
A video of the issue in question can be found below. Sorry for the poor video quality...
And, if I get this problem on my new slate, what other tablets could you recommend? That's probably a last resort, though, because I LOVED this tablet until the touch issue.

[Q] Please help in solving this interesting and strange audio problem.

Hi Friends!
I am having a strange problem in my samsung galaxy s4 (Gt-i9500).
I was on stock 4.4.2. Unrooted. One day suddenly my Device is muted. Means no audio on music/video Player. No audio on notification. No touch sound. No screen lock sound. No sound on call. Caller can't hear me too. No sounds on headset too.
I tried reboot, reset, format, removed SD card, Flashed Stock firmware in Odin, Flashed Custom Roms but nothing worked.
Visited Samsung service centre . They tried flashing the firmware. Then said they need to change the motherbord. Because my Device is out of warranty they said it will cost me around Rs 7000/-. I don't want to spend that much because i know that this is not a hardware problem. How do i know that??
Now the intresting and strange part of the problem. Every time When i switch on my Device in morning sound works properly. Everything works including calls. There is a small lag in calling interfere. When i touch mute or Speaker phone there is a lag of 1 or 2 second in activation. Same while receiving calls. But Sounds works perfectly. For weeks . UNTIL i reboot or switch off. After reboot again same problem of no audio.
To solve this i have to switch off my Device for a whole night and switch it on in morning. Every time this works. In every ROM this works.. I wonder what is the reason behind the problem and solution.
Please help me to solve the problem Permanently .

He said that he flashed custom roms.
I don't really know what to say since it happens on different roms. That means it can't be a software problem. Unless it's cause by software unaffected by flashing other roms
You have clearly established that it is a hardware issue because you are getting consistent results in software across roms. Everyone else can state to you most highly elusive issues in roms are solved by clearing dalvik cache and factory reset and in extreme cases deleting user data from the recovery. That hasn't worked so it can't be a software issue. Your audio processor is even lagging as you say even when it is operating within its manufacturer specifications in a newly installed rom. Unless you can trace back what you could have changed unknowingly on a hardware level, trying to do it on a software level is futile, its not meant to be as complicated as your thought line makes it. Surely..... you took it to as Samsung Service Centre, unless you can prove that you ran hardware lab tests showing clearly that your individual audio hardware components aren't failing by showing that they are yielding manufacturer hardware specifications at every test, you are going round in circles.
Hardware failure occurs on 3 levels:-
1) Total instant failure with no temporary workarounds
2) Noise suppression failure (Introduction of noise)
3) Waning hardware performance.
Yours seems to fall in the 3rd option. The unfortunate bit is that the audio hardware processor is located on the larger board (motherboard) as a fused component and not on the easily replaceable flex daughter board below the speaker. Unfortunately you might end up forking out that Rs7k eventually. Samsung should have designed the phone in such a way that you don't need to replace the entire mobo for such an issue.
That's the detailed and informed explanation. I am impressed by your knowledge. Thanks for replying .

[Q] [Ze552kl] Does Nougat have lags/stutters throughout UI ?

Just bought a Ze552kl off Amazon for a pretty sweet price of ₹16,725 (£191.14/$256.16) couple of days ago.
Though it was running Nougat 7.0 right out of the box, there were some minor UI bugs like on pulling down the notification panel it'd sometimes get stuck and the only way out would be to get to the home screen.
An update fixed that, but scrolling lag still persisted.
To rule out hardware issues I performed touch tests and though it managed to pass, it was difficult. I had to run it multiple times because it involved user input. It requires you to trace the boundaries of four shaded areas which are quite slim.
(Factory reset didn't seem to make a difference either)
I then tried a couple of touch calibration apps which brought noticeable improvements but it's still not enough.
So did I receive a faulty set or is it some software issue ?
Are you on the latest version of the ASUS ROM? I have a slightly different model than you, but I found the initial Nougat update to be very slow and buggy. Subsequent updates seems to have fixed most issues...
I guess, yeah, because I haven't received any more updates post the latest one mentioned on their website.
I really don't have any issues with this ROM except for the not-so-great touch response. It is a bit laggy, but that's all.
EDIT: Oh, and the Firmware is WW-14.2020.1708.56

Android touch pad

Just picked up an Android version, touch pad... Is it just mine or are they all wonky like this? Random vibrations, half the time it thinks I'm clicking something, scrolling is just ridiculous.. This can't be how it was designed, is it?
The trackpad shouldn't be behaving like that. I was describing the YB (on MacRumors of all places) and how well it worked but another member complained about the same symptoms that you described. Their issues were resolved by updating to Nougat. I suggest doing that if you haven't already. If the problem persists after that, try a factory reset.

Expert please help me. My K20 is continuously rebooting

1. Background
It's been 4 months since I bought Xiaomi K20 8G and 256G(Not Pro). I bought it from China, and from the beginning, the cell phone was unlocked. (I didn't know what it was. Maybe the seller changed the Chinese version to Global Rom and sold it. I didn't even know what that meant at the time. I think seller stated the same.)
2. Problem
There was a bit of heat from the beginning. And I got many messages that due to heat warning, the Wifi, camera, and 3G/4G would be limited. In relation to that, I found out that there had been a lot of such problems while searching solution in Internet, and I saw many articles, software upgrades had solved such overheating. And someone recommend such thing can be solved by installing ROM again in the setup(there is menu downloading latest ROM). So I tried this (MIUI 11.0.4 global) and further deleted many apps and re-installed apps, used battery saver mode and etc.. Though there was heat, phone didn't give a overheating message, and wifi also worked well.
For the time being around 1 month, I used it well.
Just 4~5 days ago, again overheating message came. Then new ROM (11.0.5) came and phone got hang / shut down / reboot / Overheaing warning / wifi disconnected.(WIFI is on, but suddenly not working. Then I off WIFI, tried to on WIFI but it didn't ON. Toggle button move but come back off position again, Once I reboot, it work for some time only.)
3. Attempts to resolve
Although phone has heat, I decided to install TWRP & the other operating system (ROM) because I thought such problem coming from the operating system / software / apps rather than a hardware problem.
I've been working hard on installation of Pixel Experience following the guide of the experts, but the above problems persist, I've changed Global Rom to EU Rom, I've tried downgrading from the recently updated MUIU.
However reboots occur more and more frequently.
Even though I don't do anything, my K20/9T phone is rebooting, hanging, stopping, and shutting down. And even no tasks are there, heat is on the phone.
4. Request.
Experts, please help & guide me.
I'm under huge stress from K20/9T.
I am trying to drain out battery.... at this moment.
LOL just fu cking trash your phone and buy the pro one
You should try xiaomi.eu ROMs.
