Best rom threads are not allowed bro....use the roms and compare these yourself

Validus, Tesla, aosip, all goods, you can't be wrong
But i agree with Droider, nothing better than test yourself

which rom has the best battery life?

I was wondering which rom has the best battery life. can anyone suggest to me a rom that has a good battery life? I'm still new to this so yeah I appreciate the help thanks!
CM13 is the best without tinkering with settings BUT it's up to you what you choose
Hydrogen OS, has the best battery performance that I seen until now. Great control over apps consumption and customisable.
I tired both cm13 and hydrogen apart from the stock oxygen os but I would suggest you to try Exodus 6.0 and I assure you'll never look back. have a good day.
Oxygen has best battery life
Oxygen and hydrogen right now.

Kingmercian (H2OS) gets me battery life that rivals what I had with SkyDragon (OOS) with the Boeffla Kernel. I haven't seen any need to try flashing any CM13 ROMs while I'm using Kingmercian as my daily driver.

Battery life depends on uses, it always different for different people. One rom can give 6hrs sot to someone and same rom can give other only 4 hrs.
So try various ROMs and tweaks for yourself and decide.
Btw i am on stock oos and i am quite happy with battery as i m getting approx. 6.5 hrs sot.
I'm using this one NXROM at the moment and I'm loving it. Smooth and great battery, but like @sushant6786 said. It all depends on apps you use, how you use your phone. What's great for me might be woirthless for you.
The best you can do is try different roms and feel for yourself. Try some that people recommend to you and make up your own mind
Good luck in your search for a rom that suits your need

I've done around 4 hours of SOT, but I haven't pushed it to see how much I could get. Still had juice left when I put it back in the charger.

NXROM is based on cm13 .. I have tested it and the battery is good but i had commom problems like in cm builds like wifi problems.
I have tested almost all the roms for our 1+2 and i can say that the best in battery with the same use are: h2os from kingmercians + skydragon v3.3 oxygen based (with boeffla kernel is better) and exodus rom. But where i got more sot was in h2os (5h30) with wifi always on and no powernap, amplify or grenify.

I can vouch for Kingmercian's H2OS as well, it's the definitely the clear winner (based on my daily usage). I ran Seraph's CM13 for a while but dropped it due to its heavy drain. As for LP-based ROMs, both OxySlim and Skydragon performed very well for me, at least when compared to stock.

Best ROMs according to users

As the title suggests, all the Moto x play users are invited to tell which ROMs they used and term as best.
The criteria is all you can choose from like fluidity, features, stability, battery life, etc
So start flashing new ROMs and keep posting in the thread.
Enjoy Flashaholics...
In my opinion Resurrection Remix has the best combination of features and it is very stable, but it could have better battery life and fluidity (I read that the next release will be more fluid)
CrDroid has the most commonly used features, it lacks some bells and whistles but it provides good battery life.
Using RR with squid's kernel, the device performs superbly, but yes, as @alresave mentioned, the battery life could be a little better.
Haven't used it personally, but for performance and battery life, I'd recommend you go for Tesla since its mostly AOSP and much more stable and fluid.

How is battery life vs stock for you? Also, does CM13 support ambient display?
I thought I saw temasek say his CM13 was tweaked to include it.
I just found out that the stock ROM doesn't support hotplugging, which I thought only had to do with the ROM. I'm wondering if I would get bettery battery life using CM13(due to hotplugging, mainly,) but also wondering if there are any noticeable hiccups still.

Cm13 does have ambient display - showing notifications, clock etc.
On stock with my setting - I don't used greenify and such apps i got about 6-7 SOT with a little below 40 h mark without charger. I am using CM13 with squid kernel for about 24h and needles to say the battery life will be a little worse due to changing kernel settings flashing CM13 nightly update etc . The kernel needs to be left alone for a few days to settle which gives best results. Latest 0407 nightly build with squid kernel 16b with interactive governor will give 5-6 SOT IMO.
To put the battery life in perspective - my friend has stock HTC Desire Eye and he has to charge it every day with medium usage and maybe 3 sot.
From the next nightly ota update i will be using cm13 without any extra kernel just to see how the basic kernel performs and that the basic battery life is

I am on Blisspop and man its got everything I need. It's stable and slick. Battery life has to be checked. Blisspop and RR are very similar in features they offer. Tried both of them.
The logo of RR is very slick and nice. Even the boot animation is really nice.

I miss SlimPIE. Some ROMs even say they have it but have PAPIE or CMPIE.
Gotta say the best rom was stock 5.1 but I found Tesla Rom to be stupid snappy regardless of kernel. Battery for whatever reason has been crap for me but most users in the thread report an amazing battery life. I've only had it for a day so I guess I'll let things settle and see if the rom does the trick after all.
I tried AICP and Bliss, and Bliss with ultra kernel r5 works fine!
If you want battery go with any slim based Rom's. That will be for battery- I tried orion- one bug each time I reboot data Sim got switched to primary slot.
Now I am sticking with Stock due to it's smart Sim feature.
I am on validus right now and it seems better than RR in terms of performance.

I think stock is the most stable ones, but if you look for more features, you should go for Resurrection Remix or Dirty Unicorn. I currently using RR, kinda stable enough for me

Pretty good actually, for me I get like 24 hours or more for daily usage, and for heavy usage I got about 10-12 hours. But's my usage, I don't know about you though. For heavy gaming like Final fantasy 9 I got about between 2-3 hours roughly.

Aicp 13.1 , Maybe you can try stay on stock setting for few days I heard people say it's pretty good.
Another option is if you want more battery use Kernel adiutor to lower cpu max speed down for big and little core. For Aicp 13.1 there is guide from the dev (Mosimchah) on the first page of his kernel tread how to tweak for battery or performance.
LineAge 15.1 also coming together but less customization with stock kernel but it's good too for battery/performance. If you are not on your phone all day should have enough battery.
The best battery life will be with AOKP 6.1 their no ROM better!
The higher you in android the worse your battery life will be I have tried every one.

The original stock is still the best, but you are asking about ROMS.
AICP 13.1 (Oreo 8.1) is by far the best battery life for all the ROMS out of the box that still gives you proper notifications. In the past I have had to install greenify and other power saving tools. I do not have to do that with AICP.
On average I am getting 0.7%/hour drain when screen is off. Screen on time average is around 7 hours.
The ROM is still in testing stages, but it is pretty close to release.

Why is there still no perfect rom.
I tried all of them, none of them fit me ...
I do not want to disrespect the developers.
Aicp and omni are too slow for me. I feel like I'm using a medium and an entry-level phone when I use the device.
The paranoid rom is too fast.
But I have problems. Fingerprints do not work when I'm asleep. I have to try it all the time.
Lineageos aicp and omni talk too bad. (At the time of the call)

I have seen results similar to yours depending on my usage. However, averages are much more realistic than just one time results. I have attached an image of mine over 26 sessions.
Results can different with different users but I have used every ROM plus I have experience in kernel hacking .
I should said I'm not running stock kernel it came with.
Why don't post over night sleep usage mine will go down 1% to 0% 8 hours.
You can't get that in 8.1.
My performance is the same to 8.1.
I miss flew thing that 8.1 has but I'm good performance and battery newer is not always better.

Most roms are similar for functions, for Android 8.1 people like new stuff and the crazy hyped about it. For me personally I just want to try Oreo, want to know what it is like to use it. Aicp 13.1 and LigeAge 15.1 work very well, battery is plenty if you are not on your phone all day.
For battery, it means to be use/discharge that's why phone have it, how long it last just depends how you use the phone. You can't really get two days battery life with Sd820/821, you can get it with Sd625 like Redmi Note4 with 4000mAh battery. Most people carry more than one phone with them nowadays I think so no problem.
Aicp 13.1 is my preferred ROM. Graph starts at 60%. Only mobile data used, and cpu is set to 1.4 for little and 1.9 for big.
@Ace42
Performance at Aicp is much worse with hele CPU underclock.

https://forum.gizchina.it/index.php?/topic/1307-gizrom-14-26s-per-leeco-le-pro-3-x720/
(i think that stock stock stock 20s in maybe better than 23s , 26s rom based ...)
I may be understood why ''6.01 rom Aopk marshmallow battery'' is good ... ,
with kernel adiutor,
I noticed that maximum high frequency was about 1800Mhz of big core ecc ecc with balance profile.

I use miui9, and I get about 6 to 7 he screen on time easily. I had few screen shot, but ended up wiping the entire storage because of recovery issue.
Best ROM by far
Hey guys. I have been using this ROM for a month now and believe its the latest and most stable based off Leeco stock rom. I get around 5-6 hours SOT on medium to heavy use. That's with both sims on with 4G+ on all day. I have apps running all day like facebook, messenger, instagram, snapchat, skype, whatsapp, google+, outlook, gmail, aliexpress, expressvpn, spotify, teatv, youtube. Also play around 30mins of plants vs zombies and unkilled everyday.
All the features on this Cuoco92 VR4 ROM works flawlessly. Its based off the latest 28s chinese stock rom but all chinese bloatware and text has been removed. Also google playstore is preinstalled and it works without an issue.
Changelog:
- Based on official 28S
- Gapps minimal (02/2018)
- Cuoco Settings with new features
- User-Interface with toggles (check cuoco/Advanced settings)
- Dialer with large caller picture, call recording enabled for all regions, Yellopages removed (check cuoco/Advanced settings)
- Screen colors adjustments to be comfortable under the sunlight
- Updated Magisk to version 5.6.0
- New weather widget
- V4Android preinstalled
- Xposed installer
- DolbyAtmos
- Performance and battery optimizations
- New TWRP RECOVERY 3.2.1
- Removed ads from LeEco apps
- Other fixes
oint_right:__LeEco services are disabed from default. You can Enable it again from my settings.
: If you have any kind of issues, please backup your applications with TitaniumBackup and reset your device (factory reset) from TWRP.__
Factory reset required!
Install instructions
- You need to install rom via TWRP recovery. I am using version 3.0.2.0
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/how-to/leeco-le-pro-3-root-t3476560
- make a full backup of existing rom and modem via TWRP before flashing new rom
- i installed my new rom through a usb drive using a OTG connector. Works best for me
http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=783366&st=2780#entry69580146
- i am also using this modem configuration as i do not get dropouts and has good signal coverage
http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=783366&st=2780#entry69580146
Hope this helps. Please give me some feedback. Enjoy!

Best Rom

After doing a lot of research , I finally rooted , unlocked boot loader and install lineage 14.1 . The only problem is that I'm not even close to satisfied with battery life . Using eui for a few months have spoilt me , getting ana average of 7-9 hours sot . Now I can barely get past 5 .
So what I'm asking is , what's the best stable rom in terms of performance and battery life .

I am using AICP and while it's nowhere near stock I'm pretty happy for an Oreo ROM. I was getting 2 and a half days between charge on modified stock I getting about 30-35 on AICP and about 5-6 hours of SOT
I've been using aicp(Oreo) for around a month.pretty much everything works good.I can usually go 2days between charges with moderate use like listening to music and lots of web surfn.i can easily make it a day+ with considerable increase in usage such as streaming videos and playing games.Im usually going for stock ROMs but the devs of all these custom ROMs have really out done themselves and I don't even feel drawn back to stock at all.
