If you ordered your phone from china and it came with google play installed read this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/help/axon-7-6-128-a2017-t3576600
Hi , Today I was on A2017V2.1.1B07(MM) and I just downloaded B11(third one) from this link (http://www.ztedevice.com.cn/support/...ED0C72D6046C78) and put it on SD card and updated and installed it from settings(although I downloaded and put B11 on sd card, it showed B13 ROM update in settings). Then when It was finished , I got B15 Nougat OTA in settings and downloaded and installed it then again I've got B16 OTA in settings and installed it and now everything is okay. But I wanna ask you if I did it all correctly???(because I downloaded B11 Rom(not b13 rom from that link above) but the phone showed me B13 when I put that B11 on sd card and went to the setting)and what's the reason???Did you guys do the same? did I have to download B13 instead of B11 and install it on B07???

Hi guys
I was looking to upgrade my firmware on ALE-L02 to B150 via this thread:
http://www.carbontesla.com/2015/09/huawei-p8-lite-l02-c636b150-lollipop-firmware/
The update went though just fine, phone rebooted, relogged all apps. But now the device Build is now C50B311 (hi6210sft) I have found that my LTE is disabled on my nano sim, which usually worked via the old build. Is there a way to upgrade to 5.1? Or move away from this update (BalongC50B311)?
Device is not rooted etc. Stock.
Thanks guys!
Hello, it's because you have to downgrade to a build with two folder's (update and vendor ) and flash the two folder's for don't have this trouble named balong bug.
It's easy look in the zip update if you have the two and use the second folder like the previous .
I can't tell you because for look in I have to download this build .
Not all the update have it (the vendor folders)and you have to downgrade to the good version for don't have the balong trouble. This step factory reset and format your internal memory
I have an Axon 7 European version ZTEA2017GV1.1.0B1
It has some bugs, for example the weird Google problem I still haven't solved. Since the Nougat update 7.1.1 is available, is there any way I could upgrade my phone from android 7.0 to 7.1.1? I tried to find links for .zip files but couldn't find any. I'd like to see if those bugs go away with the update, but some things I read said that I can't upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1... Help would be much appreciated.

I'm downloading it from the German website right now.

If you've been using the phone a while and have plenty of user data, or have issues, for best results you should do a factory reset first to clear it of any junk and have maximum memory available. Backup your data. Also backup your call and message data. Make sure it's charged. Put the zip on the root of the SD card and go to updates in settings and point it to the zip file. It may find and run it on a reboot too. I can't remember.
You could also download the B04 zip and overwrite it first?
Australia has B10 MM and now B11 MM then you can update to B04 Nougat.
B08 seems only available from Germany. Still not sure whether I'll update to B08 or stay on B04 till we see if ZTE give us Oreo.
Here's the open device firmware page. Don't use A2017 or A2017U firmwares on an A2017G phone. Same goes for other models using the wrong firmware. The cellular support will be messed up and then need to fix it. Probably ruins partitioning too. Easiest just to use the correct firmwares.
The B11 MM zip seems also able to rollback to MM from Nougat.

I checked the update history and it says the phone has been updated from B10 to B01? Is B01 a newer version then?
And could you instruct further how to do that .zip thing, last time I tried it didn't work even though I put the file to the root of the internal sd card. Do I need a removable sd card in order for the updating to work or what went wrong? I have mifavor 4.2 but it's B01.1. should it be like that?
B10 was MM and sounds like B01 is an old Nougat.
Should be able to directly update to B04 or B08 from B01.
Even B04 is MiFavor 4.2 still. Probably need B08 to get to MiFavor 5.
Did you have the actual update zip file extracted out of the main downloaded zip?
Update.zip, not the whole lot with PDF etc. Should be on an SD card. I haven't tried it using internal storage. Did both mine from SD.
Hi, I just bought from Gearbest a new smartphone: the Zte Axon 7 (A2017G).
I would like to know if from Android 6.0.1 (B11) I can switch to Android 7.1 via SD card without going for Android 7.0.
I would also like to know what procedure I have to follow and whether the firmware on the German site has the Italian language and is compatible with my model.
Yes your G Version is compatible with the german site.
You will need to first update to the latest Marshmallow then you can update to 7.1.1 nougat
You can tell by the size marsh: 2,2gb
Nougat 2,6gb
Just place them on after the other into root and name them "update.zip"
---------- Post added at 09:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:16 PM ----------
And yes italian language will be on there, it has to.
Yes, you can.
It has.

Ok but what's the latest version of marshmallow? B11?
And exactly what procedure should I perform? Do I have to wipe? And do I need the root?
Sorry for the bad english
Last MM is B11. Just update from sd/root phone. Rename file to update.zip.

I'm going to make it a little bit easier
If you will get an A2017G, we have something really useful here which is the DOWNLOAD CENTER. If you downloaded an official zip from ZTE, you would have to unzip them, but the zips on the download center are already unzipped, and they are also uploaded to androidfilehost which is better than ZTE's servers.
If you already have the phone, check the Android version. If it says B11 then just download the official B09 update package from the download center (be cautious, NOT THE FLASHABLE TWRP ZIPS) and install it. If it is anything below B11 you have to download B11 and install it, then download B09 and install it.
Procedure to install official zips:
-Download the zip and rename to update.zip (Not needed, but do it anyways)
-Put it on the root of the internal storage or sd card
-Go to Settings - Updates
-The update should appear. Apply
If you have to install Marshmallow B11 too, install it and after that delete the zip from the storage

OK thanks I managed to update to nougat.
Hi mates,
------------------------------------------------------
for the ones who only search for OTA update packages and don't need instructions see here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=251521
------------------------------------------------------
Finally you made it: Messed up your phone or want to make sure your phone is set back to ZUI original.
That's what I did as well several times while flashing and testing around several roms.
To avoid problems with Lenovo OTA servers I made up this thread to safely update to latest ZUI using OTA updates without needing them to download from Lenovo OTA server.
First step: Flashing ZUI 1.9 with QFIL.
Download Qpst/Qfil 2.7.472 here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754462223 and install it.
Download ZUI 1.9.104 here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754462214
Extract ZUI 1.9.104 to C:\ZUK\ and flash it with QFIL. See here for more detailed instructions: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z2-pro/how-to/howto-flash-stock-zui-rom-zuk-z2-pro-t3928699
Second step: Flashing full OTA update to 3.5.259ST with System Updater.
You successfully booted ZUI 1.9. To see it from Chinese into English follow instruction here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFM_a3-wYD8
Download Full Update ZUI 3.5.259ST: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=890129502657584731
Connect your phone to computer.
Rename the downloaded zip file to "update.zip" and copy it to internal storage root directory of your phone.
Start System Updater App, tap on the three dots on upper right corner and choose reboot to recovery.
Your phone will now reboot to recovery asking you if it shall update the package. Accept it and let it be installed.
After installing your phone will boot up again and your ZUI version will be upgraded from 1.9 to 3.5.259.
------------------------------------------------------
OTA update packages to download (just in case anyone needs):

Congratulations, your system is up to date now.
You want to unlock bootloader now and get twrp? Go on here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z2-pro/how-to/howto-unlock-bootloader-twrp-zuk-z2-pro-t3928705
------------------------------------------------------
I will update this post with new OTA packages once they are out.
Enjoy mates
PS: Yes, I know: latest ZUI 3.5.259ST update is a full package and not the real OTA update as this is not released yet. Anyhow it works in the same way and will not clean your system or anything. It will simply work as an update.
--> I added this here as zukfans eu may close soon and I want to avoid instructions get lost.
Nice Contribution!!, I `ve used the links you provided and dowloaded the 3.5 ZUI Version... And from there I continued with automatic OTA updates from the phone, up to 4.0.247 ST... Everything working great!, It reduced battery consumption enormously! and evrything works better (I bougth the phone with a preinstaled "Multilanguage" non official ROM, it was working awfully, and got me stuck on Android 6.0).
Thanks again!
Hello,
I've also updated to 4.0.247 ST, which runs Android 8.0. Everything seems to be fine, but I cannot get netflix to work. Play store says my device is not compatible. The apk offered by netflix on their website supports up to Android 7, so it does not work either.
I've read that the netflix app requires devices to be play protect certified in Android 8 and above, which this device is not. Does anyone know a way to circumvent this issue?
Thanks and best regards
Hey anyone has the 3.5.259 ST guide to 4? I can't auto update cause of bootloader
Does anyone have the 10.5.6 image for the international (US version) of the 8 Pro? Need the boot image for root and OnePlus does not have the 8 Pro OTA on their website.

Can't you download it with the Oxygen Updater app or doesn't that go for US version? If you enable advanced options in the app you can download all the update files even when you've already updated your device

That sounds like a good idea - will have to find and check it out latter.
I just used the updater from the play store, wasn't available for my region so I installed that.
Downloaded and installed in 5 minutes
I'm in the EU, BA
you dont need the patched image.....
follow the simple guide.
If you are rooted and want to update to new version of OOS then download oxygen updater
download latest zip and then choose manual install.
go to settings and system update and do a local upgrade BUT DONT REBOOT
go to Magisk manager press install and install to inactive slot and then reboot
thats all
